The next moment the both of us disappeared from the scene, and I jump as I high as I could and landed on top of a tree.

A rain of bullets targets our preview position.

When the drones noticed that we weren't there they stopped the fire.

The next movement all of the drones started to scan everywhere, suddenly one of the drones turned towards my position, and then the rest followed suit.

Bullets started to rain in our direction.

I started to jump from treetop to treetop, however they keep following use.

I started to think, and it couldn't be me, my camouflage is designed to adapt to any given environment, so the only option will be violet.

We were running for about 5 minutes; I decided to stop and spoke.

"I'm guessing they are looking for heat sources, and your invisibility doesn't look like it covers your bodily heat, so I'm going to cover your, don't struggle."

Then I started to cover her with my symbiote

By this point it was already getting dark, with the lack of light and unable to pinpoint our location the drones were like headless flies moving all over the place.

We decided to keep moving deep into the forest and look for a place to rest for the night.

In an underground facility, at the outskirts of a city, a group of engineers were sitting behind monitors with controls on their hands, if one were to look at their screen someone would notice that they were displaying footage of a black humanoid holding a girl by the waist.

Currently Richard was looking at a big screen displaying footage of Vengeance and making Comparisons with footage taken outside of a hotel.

As soon as he said that the drones the engineers were controlling started to fire at the target, however they noticed that there was no one there anymore.

They started to look for Bruce and Violet but only Violet's heat signals were captured.

After 5 minutes, they lost Violet's heat signal.

"Fuck, can't you even do something right? What use do you all have? A bunch of incompetent fools. LOOK FOR HIM!!!! I want him."

While Richard was having a rage outbreak, the doors to the room opened up, a group of young people walked in, led by a woman.

She was dark skin, brown hair, good figure, and tall.

Whenever she passes by some of the engineers controlling the drones, they count help but look at her perfect figure, but then fear overtook that lust and they returned to their computers.

"What happened Richard?"

"None of your Business Carol"

"My, why the hate, I just came to look at what you had found, nothing more."

"there's nothing you see, now you can scram."

Carol started laughing, turned around and started to walk towards the Exit.

One of Richard's assistants looked at the Leaving Carol and then turned towards Richard.

"Professor Mayers, what do we do, if they release the Hunting Corp and even one of them is capture, we will lose a lot of important technology."

"I know, but if the Chief authorizes it there's nothing, I can do to stop it."

Richard started to walk in circles in the room, when all of the sudden he stops and look at his assistant.

"What is the Progress on the other subjects?"

"We have gather information on several of them, In New York several have been spotted fighting crime or even against each other, recently one of Mexico's Cartels was hit heavily presumably by one of them, we are not so sure who he is but there was a bat burn mark on the wall, from one of our intel personnel the amount taken goes up to $150 million, we still don't know the identity of this one, several have been spotted throughout the country, but went into hiding right away so their locations were lost"

"Ok, then what about the girl that we were able to capture? Where is she?"

The assistant looked at his tablet and replayed.

"She is schedule to be transfer to another facility tomorrow morning."

"ok…ok…let me see…. ok that my work…ok, get the nano transmitter and implant it on the girl, this will help us locate her."

"Locate her, sir what do you mean?"

"She is somehow going to escape, and she will somehow get information that some of her friends may be in New York since it's closer, when she makes contact with them, we will capture them together, understood? This will dispel some of the attention on subject XT-001."

The assistant nodded and said "Understood."

"Ok now go, as for the rest of you keep looking for XT-001."

Deep in the forest, inside a cave next to a small stream on water.

Currently Violet and I were sitting in the darkness.

"So, tell me Violet, what were you doing with all of these things?"

In Front of me there were all sorts of camping equipment: water bottle, flashlight, first aid kit, lighter, knife, even a two-person tent, and some dry meat, but that's almost finished.

"Like I told you, I was going on a trip with some of my friends and we were supposed to camp there for 2 days, then go back since we have exams after spring break, could you please release me? It feels kind of weird."

She was referring to my Symbiote since she was still covered by it.

"I don't know, maybe you will escape after I release you."

"I already said that I won't, and besides I don't know if those things are still out there."

I released the Symbiote, and then she was free.

I looked deeply at her and spoke.

Ever since I merged with vengeance, I didn't have a need for clothes since I literally wear him, but it's been less than a week and I haven't had contact with anyone else that I totally forgot.

I quickly formed a shirt and pants.
