Reviews of Highschool DxD: A New Satan

I can't give this a great score, I was really enjoying it at first, got a few crossovers and references here and there, the character gets pretty OP super quick (I am a bit of a fan of a character who trounces their opponents), but lately its been getting worse in my opinion. For 1, we are on chapter 51 and we still haven't made it to the present day. 2, the crossovers have become super excessive, I think that the author has to have crossed over with at least 15 different universes by now. 3, there has very little action until very recently. 4, The main character has become stagnant for the most part with their powers as far as I can tell, we aren't learning about anything new they can do or seeing anything cool. 5, we HEAR about all kinds of stuff that other people are doing, training, learning new techniques, becoming cooler, but we don't get to SEE any of that and just have to take their word on it. 6, the main character hasn't gone up against anyone his equal that I can think of, he hasn't really had any challenges, he just waves his hand and people disappear essentially. Those are the things I can think of off the top of my head that I see as issues. Really I wish I could have kept reading, but the sheer number of crossovers just finally made me too uncomfortable to continue, it barely even feels like DxD anymore and it turned me off of the book.

Personally i liked this fic, the plot development is good, the character is good, and the world background is also good. Which make it a shame i need to abandon it, ( personal reason, which is decision the author make regarding Moka not milim) as someone with trust issue, i will abandon any works that betray my trust no matter how great it is. but disregarding that it must be said that this fic is far better than most of...*coughtrashycough* novel or fan fic in this website, in fact i recommend it to my friend.

I really liked everything, both the characters and the very content of the world. The hero is not very strong at once, but achieves this gradually.It is also unusual to call the fact that fan fiction is not swirled around the harem or about this topic. Keep up the good work!

Its a great fic and the main reason I'm interested in it is because there aren't a lot of DxD fics set in the past,so its bound to be an interesting read !!!

Excellent novel, almost no grammar mistakes and the story is very funny. One of the BESTS DxD FF i have read. And while its a hârêm it grows very slowly with the mc wanting to know the girls for years before accepting them. SO far as of chapter 39, mc has 2 wives, with 5 candidates waiting, as MC said that becoming a thing is something very important as they would be together for thousands of years and he wants to make it a 0.00000% chance of having marital issues. That i respect. Also the author has made very well done the characters in this novel and took the liberty to adding characters from FGO without the whole grail thing. Lastly, i would enjoy if author could write more sêx chapters, as there are only 2 so far. Specially with FLUFF!! how can you not enjoy fluffy tails!??!?!?!?

Best fanfic novel I have read so far.. Nice storylines with realism and base building.. Story before canon which mostly never does because of laziness or something.. Nice character development and good writings.. Just a bit minor spelling errors which can be solved after rechecking the whole stuff and we are good to go!

Honestly, a really good story and the chapters are VERY long, which makes the story so much more satisfying to read. Good job to you author and I really love the super long chapters! 5-star review!

People are probably going to come rate 1star bc they think he got ntr:ed which isnt rlly true since they werent even in a relationship. Though it still felt wrong since it was implied that moka would join mc harem. Maybe the Best dxd fic ive read though

As someone already wrote, this story is good. Basically isekai situated in the time before Civil War of devils. MC is OP, there is some brainwashing, unlocking talents etc etc. Not the best fic out there, but one of the better ones. Even though some interactions are nonsensical. Like every character is paving way for the MC.

I have not seen much action in the first chapters and it is understandable, but I do not like it. ................ ------------- .................

For the first 67 chapter this story is really good, there's a few low points, (like the moka part, that was badly written) but for the most part it's written very well, it strays from cannon and does it's own thing, he's strong and makes his own kingdom and becomes a God, probably one of the top 10 dxd fanfics, sadly once you hit chapter 68 the author started forcing cannon, there were signs of it happening earlier but they were easily ignored (training ophis to be a double agent for the chaos brigade, it was a sentence or 2) it starts by forcing the original peerage for rias even tho there's 0 reason for it, then sending vali/kuroka to form the slash dog with 0 reason, its weird author spent 400k words+ not sticking to cannon only to change it later, I guess he lost his passion or something, still an amazing story up until then though, so defo give this a go.

A fantastic story that is a must read. The writing is exalent quality outside of a few typos, a very likable and extremely intelligent MC who works his way up and earns his power, diverse and well written side characters, great crossover moments, abs it’s always a fun and exciting read. I always look forward to new chapter releses and this has to be my favorite DxD story (I don’t even like the anime lol). Really, you should give it a try, I doubt you will be disappointed.

It's good, But I literally feel like smashing in my PC monitor at the more noticeable forced plots in some points of the story. [img=recommend]
