If Bruce can keep these kinds of things happening, giving our protagonist more challenges, crime will drop heavily on days he is out since the villains will want to gamble like this more often and won't want to ruin the event.

Batman and Robin are both being a bit stupid here. Use some common sense and think about it a little. "Oh so this wedding ring belonged to a guy who studied bats for a living? We are tracking a giant man-eating and man shaped bat. These are unrelated."

She has seen the show and knows how they think, she has to know that they just misunderstood everything and that she should probably ask what they think about what she said. She has no reason to think that they will betray her, the only reason she really wouldn't ask at this point is just pride or making an awkward conversation. They would be thrilled to just have her direct attention and would gladly explain.
