Chapter 1: Reactions

Oct 31st 1991

Asgard

Odin Borson, The All-father was having a normal day. He was ruling the Realm Eternal as usual, watching over the practice by the soldiers and his sons, Prince Thor and Loki. As usual Thor was winning in every bout and the latest win was against Loki. As Thor looks up to the Palace to look at him, Odin felt the entire realm stopping in time for a second and everything went as usual, Odin smiled at Thor & Loki in approval and Loki took it as a mocking smile. Odin was still waiting for the day his clever and manipulative second son to understand that he was not mocking Loki or comparing with Th… Odin's thought came to a stop. Odin called on OdinForce and cosmic sense to understand what happened to make Realm Eternal itself and Those Who Sit Above In Shadows to a stop as Odin couldn't feel their control in his mind. Suddenly knowledge was forced upon his mind like a blow from Mjolnir itself.

The Universe itself has changed. His past also has been changed, Odin remembers fight he had never fought before, he felt a scar in lower stomach that was not there till today, he had the new information about empires he has never heard before... The Kryptonians, The Citadel, The Thangarians, The Viltrumites… Odin focused more on Odin Force and on the World Tree itself to find out the source of this change and the answer he found was very troubling. The change occurred from Midgard, even he couldn't find the reason or source of it. Odin left to the Kings council room to call upon the meeting and issue new order as the situation demands.

Apokolips

As he keeps torturing an underling with Omega Beams, The Dread Lord, Darkseid suddenly stopped and stilled for half a second. The underling was astonished that the punishment has ceased before the finale and start to run to safety of the door of the Throne room, but suddenly his body ceased working due to the immense amount of fury coming from his King.

Seeing the frozen underling, Darkseid ceased the pressure and dismissed him to fully grasp the changes he felt that has occurred in the Universe. 'A being capable of merging multiple universes' Darkseid thought scornfully 'and he used it to bring me into this universe, whoever he is he is a delusional fool if he thought that there would not be repercussions for playing with me. Darkseid summoned a Motherbox and started to study the new locations in its database to study the changes to find out the culprit.

The Source Wall

For many years He has been trapped in the Source Wall, seeing the Universe moving on without him. He watches as the heroes and villains he fought forget about him. He watched as he become a joke character in the comics about him and finally, he also agrees with the writers. Him- a being of such immense power at the apex of his power that his punches alter reality itself has been trapped in cosmic forces again and again. First it was the Speedforce, then the thrice damned Guardians of the Universe and their dogs the Green lanterns placed him in red sun eater containment. Now finally in the Source Wall itself. At least now he could see the happenings in the universe and reminiscence his life and the choices that led him here. Only in his mind, he could accept that he has been manipulated and the fool he has been turned from greatest hero to greatest villain. It was this regret that stopped him from breaking out and to suffer the punishment of imprisonment.

It was in one of the Universe watching sessions that he saw a Lady Being plucking his universe and merging it with others and even he could see that it was a sloppy job and many pieces were destroyed or left behind. He was flabbergasted as his own Earth Prime was taken from him permanently, he could see there is no way to travel from here and finally he accepted the truth that he doesn't deserve his Earth.

As he watched the new merged universe, he saw many powerful entities and many atrocities committed by Empires. he decided to break out and help this Earth to survive the dangers. He wants to become the Greatest hero of this New Universe. As he flew through the cosmos, he vowed that the shield of "S" in a diamond in his chest will be the Symbol of hope across cosmos for the common man and terror for the evil beings.

The Sanctuary

Thanos- The Mad Titan was sitting in his Techno-Mystic Chair- The Space Throne and devising a plan to attack his next target planet, when he felt it, The Mind Stone in his hand changed- become more powerful. Thanos was using The Mind Stone to train his body to hold Infinity Stones in his hands without causing him harm. He was channeling the mind stone to further his psychic abilities along with thought processes to multitask. For a nano second, The Stone burned his hands, it started disintegrating his hands until he channeled more cosmic energy to reinforce his bare skin, as usual the disintegration stopped and Thanos again has tamed the stone.

Thanos cracked a cruel smile as knowledge slammed into his mind. How he collected all infinity stones, how he met Lady Death's lover and killed him again and again and started sending them back in time without any knowledge of future to see him win again and again, even made Thanos himself don't know how he wins, only that he won in the end. Thanos started devising the plans with an increased vigor now that he knows he is in the correct path without realizing the universe had changed around him.

Former Center of the Universe- Oa

The Six Guardians, beings who sacrificed their names, emotions and everything for welfare of the cosmos was having a meeting, when they felt the universe merging with other universes and expanding rapidly. Even their Cosmic Awareness and near Omniscience failed to account the changes in the new Universe. The Guardians has no knowledge about the new players in the cosmos and can only feel great amount of power around various entities.

"So, that happened, what should we do?" Ganthet asked the council.

"Let the Rings be updated with the knowledge as we are aware now and update as we learn them. Let the Lanterns know that they are not to travel to unknown space sectors and to let the Rings to scan anything new in their assigned sectors to update our collective knowledge." A Guardian said.

The Council agreed collectively and the required orders were sent out.

Godric's Hollow

A being of made of pure fire with the shape of a small girl appeared out of nowhere besides an ethereal black shadow. The black shadow was watching a cottage with first floor blown off. A handsome man, came flying in a motorcycle and went running inside. Both beings looked on as the man cry loudly as he discovered his best friend's death bodies.

"So, it's done? Finally you will be free of the madman in this loop?" The Phoenix asked.

"Yes, it's completed, now what are you doing here? Your business with that mutant girl is over, you successfully rescued her consciousness from my realm. Why haven't you yet left a small spark and go on with your duties? " Death replied.

"Well, I came to see your harry, of course. After all you made him, cousins with me and my twin and I wish to leave a small blessing. I also wish to see the insane mind from which this dangerous idea came from. It is not everyday I could possess a mortal body without consequences, I will leave when I want." Phoenix replied petulantly

"Blessings? Why would you do such a thing and why are you not burning your avatar's childish behavior from yourself?" Death asked surprised.

"Why wouldn't I do it? He clinged to life this very day, even if the cause is his mother. He is using this method to grow himself and cling to life and change himself. I am a being of Life, passion and changes. He has it in spades, so a little insurance if you want to say. I choose an avatar for feeling mortal emotions and behavior, why should I burn them when I got them." Phoenix replied.

"Go ahead, he will not say no to any small power ups. You have my permission to give it to my Avatar" Death said with a sigh.

Phoenix only replied with a smile and approached the man carrying the child. As she reached the entire landscape froze and she lowered her face to Harry's head and kissed his forehead. Phoenix walked back to Death as time started running normally.

"So, you know that his scar has a piece of soul in it? Do you want it removed, now?"

"Nope, no need for removing it. He knows about it and will handle as required. Now, let's leave the mortals to their games. Bye for now" Death said and vanished from Earth

"Bye, Death for now." Phoenix replied to thin air and vanished with a flash of fire invisible to mortal eyes.

Sirius even with the heart wrenching agony and sadness, suddenly felt a heavy loss and as if to validate such feelings Harry started crying. Sirius shook his head and wiped his face as the heavy figure of Hagrid appeared in the walkway.

The Lux- Los Angeles

After weeks of gap Lucifer Morningstar was finally having a perfect night in his pent house. For the past couple of weeks, he has been distracted by the Detective and his work in LAPD. The perfect night includes 2 sets of twins worshipping him as they should. After the girls were thoroughly pleased by his tongue and fingers, now it was their turn to return the favor.

Lucifer was lying in his back at the edge of his bed with his legs parted. One set of twins for busy with his sucking his balls, one girl was riding him with a little help from him by grabbing her shapely ass and the lucky girl sitting in his face. Lucifer was nearing his orgasm when he suddenly felt a warning through his suppressed omniscience something fundamental to his existence is going to happen. Since he was in the middle of a pleasure after weeks of dry spell, he didn't think much about it. The girl increased the speed of riding him and the twins also increased the sucking pressure. From the increased stimuli, he was about to cum when the world stopped for a second and for that second lucifer cursed his brother Amenadiel to hell and back for interrupting at such a crucial movement. The next second the world resumed and he painted the insides of the girl riding him. After enjoying the post orgasm bliss, he looked around for his dour brother and saw nothing.

Thinking his proper brother left seeing him in the compromised position, Lucifer continued his fun till early morning. He was having a premium whiskey after the girls went to sleep in his bed when his brother finally showed up in the balcony.

"Thank you, brother for once not cockblocking me and leaving me to my fun." Lucifer said laughing and turned to face his brother. It was then he saw a grave and afraid face of Heaven's greatest warrior. He has not seen such a face in his brother's face in his lifetime.

"You, everything is fun and a joke to you isn't it Lucifer? You were so high in drugs and pleasure that you don't even felt when our father left the plane of existence or when the fucking universes merged or when your own power fluctuated or when your on omniscience hit a roadblock and not working anymore. Heaven is in arms, brother. Our siblings are preparing for war to get our father back and to find the reason for merging universes and to kill the person responsible. You are to tell me what you know about the situation right now and return to hell right now to check the changes, to establish your powerbase among the new demons." Amenadiel shouted angrily.

Lucifer just stared at his angry brother for a minute processing just what he heard. Clearly the warning and stoppage of time was because of this merging. He turned on his omniscience and looked into the future, past and presence. A kaleidoscope of images hit him like a supernova. The past, future he knows is changing so rapidly that he doesn't know what is real or imagination. Clearly there are beings in this universe that is beyond himself. 'What an interesting new world.' Lucifer thought himself and a realization came to him suddenly making him laugh.

"Hahaha… Oh Dad, you lying…. Hahaha"

"Stop it, Lucifer"

"Oh, sweet brother, you ever trusting son, you have not realized it yet? Have you? Did no one in silver city found out or no one wants to acknowledge the truth or no one has the guts to say it to you, I wonder." Lucifer laughed and continued, "Brother, dearest, there is nothing for us mere sons to do or to be more specific there is nothing we can do. Our father, The god/ the presence or whatever the name he is going by nowadays lied to us for our entire life. He is not the ultimate power in the cosmos or at least he is not the only one. There may be higher cosmic being more powerful than our daddy dearest. It was them who could have done this, no one else, even I didn't know this could, even be done. In plain words, my dear brother, we have become the mortals and Angels are playing with our life like we use to do."

Amenadiel stared at Lucifer in pure shock. After thinking about he cursed himself not arriving at this sooner. He prayed to Father for any confirmation of this theory. Suddenly the silence was disrupted by the ping of elevator opening and an old balding man with specs entered the Pent House as he owns the place.

Lucifer stared surprised and was about to ask him leave when the old man spoke little playfully.

"Ah My sons, well technically, my sons. You have finally figured out the truth of Universe. It only took Eons and an unprecedented incident, Congratulations."

"It was a game for you, wasn't it?" Amenadiel asked angrily for the first time.

"Nothing like that. Just an honest need to know basis or need to know basis on the power level of the being." Old man replied.

"So, what happened and how are you related to us, technically?" Lucifer asked after recovering from the shock.

"Well, Your Dad was technically me. Let's say my clone, to create the universe you were in. It was his duty to do it, just as it's my duty to create one of the merged Universe. Tell your siblings to stop preparing for war. The Being who did this is beyond any of you and did with my permission. I will also give you one piece of advice. Be on guard, Your Omniscience will not work as to learn about entire Universes is a difficult task. There are more beings capable of harming you. Bye for now."

"Father, what about Heaven, who should rule?" Amenadiel asked

"Ah, Heaven, I don't want to stay there, when many interesting things are here in the mortal world. Amenadiel, I appoint you as regent and to uphold the rules as you see fit." The Old man said and vanished to thin air.

"Congratulations, Regent of Heaven, brother. It will be my pleasure if you leave now, I have an encore to perform." Lucifer said looking at the twin set.

"Lucifer, you can't be serious now. What about the new hell? Thankfully there are no major changes in Heaven except for the subsets created by Earthly Pantheons. You have to look into it." Amenadiel ordered.

"I have to do no such things, brother. If you want you can look into it. I have my hands busy with earthly matters." Lucifer said as he fondles the amble breasts of pair of twins.

"This is not over" Amenadiel said angrily and vanished in a blink of the eye.

Lucifer continued being busy with earthly matters.

Kamar-Taj

Ancient One was sitting in her training room meditating and waiting for any trouble from upstart dark sorcerers. Every Halloween someone would cause trouble by using the day's specialty to dabble in necromancy and spirit summoning. 'It seems this Halloween is an exception, there has been no trouble till now and it's late night.' She thought to herself. She was going to rest after checking with the time stone and she went to take the Eye of Agamotto from the pedestal. She amusedly watched the astral form of her eventual successor Strange going to library for reading. As she reached near the pedestal, Everything changed around her. As the Sorcerer Supreme, she is the ultimate authority on anything magical and using dimensional, universal energies. In her long life, she knows countless dimensions, countless beings who grant energies for usage and she knows the strength of magical shield maintained by their order to keep out higher powered beings. In a second, everything changed. The shield has strengthened to an insane degree. The magic of Earth has suddenly increased and Ley line has increased. She felt a huge number of magic users around the world, the Wizarding world. For the first time in her long life, she felt afraid, she took the Eye and put it her neck and as she walked back, she observed other sorcerers carefully and there was no panic in any of their faces. 'It seems that only my status as Sorceress Supreme has protected me from the complete change of reality in past and present and to retain that the change has happened'. She thought to herself.

She reached the training room and sat in a meditative position and started using the Time Stone for powering her foresight. She watched the future and the possibilities was endless, even her foresight with time stone couldn't lock on the likely future. Her centuries long plans about grooming her successor and dying has been changed by this unprecedented event. She wants to know the cause of this and she used the time stone to arrive 10 minutes earlier, and casted a spell to locate any magical event that required All Father or her Power levels or higher. As the time occurred and passed, she felt nothing, the spell didn't ping anything, holding the spell for 10 more minutes, ancient one waited and she felt a Presence in England. She felt a fiery presence not of this world and she panicked again as she identified the fiery presence with the description of The Phoenix. Ancient one opened a portal to Godric's Hollow, a mixed wizarding village, and entered the mirror dimension to observe, praying to all the powers in the world that Phoenix is not here for burning Earth. As she arrived, she felt the Being vanishing and felt relief. A second later the Being appeared behind her in the mirror dimension and she felt heat, anger, love and calmness at the same time.

"Well, what do we have here, a Peeper, a naughty one aren't you Little one." Phoenix asked amusedly in a childish voice and continued "but powerful for a mortal mage and I wonder how you felt me… Ah, I see the little trinket stone around your neck, you are the descendent of that bald man aren't you.

Ancient one was trembling slightly and prayed that her mistakes don't burn her Earth. She bowed respectfully and said; "My Lady Phoenix, I am the current Sorceress Supreme of Earth, a descendent of the bald men, Agomotto as you said. I am really sorry for watching you, I just felt reality itself change and was looking for any reason, when I felt your presence. I just want to know what happened, That's all My Lady."

"Reality changed because my sister's Harry wished it so, whatever, you should not have peeped. Peeping is naughty and naughty girls get punished, my mother said so." Phoenix said and looked at the bald lady to decide a punishment.

Whatever Ancient one was expecting as a reply it was not that. She looked on flabbergasted and didn't know what to say. She understood that the influence of bonding with Jean Grey has not left the Being till now. She must not anger her genuinely and not suffer under childish anger.

"I am sorry for peeping; I will welcome any punishment you deem fit" Ancient one replied.

"I see you bald lady, peeping into me and peeping and stealing power from that scary place, dark dimension, for living forever. Naughty, Naughty. You should not steal" phoenix said in a stern tone and raised her hands. "You should not steal power" Phoenix said and Cosmic fire erupted and surrounded Ancient One.

Before even Ancient one could raise her hands in defense the fire burned her body and soul for a second, it burned away the connection with Dark Dimension, the stolen power and she could hear a distant scream as the Phoenix Fire burned the part of dark dimension itself before, Dormammu could smother it and heal it by using massive energy. The Fire burned the body into ashes and remade a second later in a healthy peak human body.

"There, you are punished and a gift for doing your punishment like a good girl, without complaining. Now you should not steal for living, you can live for many years." Phoenix said benevolently

Ancient surprised beyond measure and was happy with the gift given by The Phoenix said, "My Lady, I humbly thank you for your gift and help, is there anything I can do for you?"

"Yes, there is, look after my body and protect her to your best ability. Teach her Magic and about me when it's time." Phoenix said with a deep ancient tone and vanished.

"I will do as you command, my lady" Ancient One whispered and bowed deeply.

As she entered Kamar-Taj through a portal, she couldn't believe her luck. 'The connection with Dark Dimension gone and my debt to Dormammu burned away. My soul is safe from his clutches after my death. I have a successor and I could die peacefully... wait, I can't allow my death without completing my promise to phoenix. I have to train Jean Grey, I will also look into her supposed Twin too, even I didn't see any twin in any different timelines.'

Ancient One took meditative position and started using the stone to look into Grey's twin and the future of this new Universe.
