Chapter 18: Greedy Little Snake

Satoru having finally taken notice of the blood dripping on his face, touched his head searching for the shuriken, when he found it he just yanked it out of his head, while quipping, "It's not as bad as it looks?" 

There was silence for a second before more blood started flowing down his face.

Witnessing the blood flowing, Sasuke's face darkened. "It seems father and eldest brother were too lenient yesterday. I'll make sure to recount your heroic deeds today to Father."

"What?" Satoru exclaimed.

"Sasuke, this new attitude of yours isn't winning you any cuteness points. Has some intruder swapped out my adorable little brother with a fake? Why are you suddenly so cruel?" Satoru sounded dramatic.

"You idiot, stop moving and wait here till i get the medicine box!" Sasuke ordered fiercely, before darting into the room to get the medicine box.

"kneel," Sasuke commanded, his face annoyed as he held the medicine box.

Satoru knelt, showing no hesitation. A testament to being a good brother, possessing a broad mind, he thought proudly.

Hurriedly, Sasuke started the treatment, "Satoru you idiot, didn't you feel so much blood trickling down?" Sasuke asked helplessly angrily, 

"Hahaha, what are you on about? How can someone as powerful as your brother bleed so easily? I was just messing with you! This is tomato juice, your favorite little tomato," Satoru's white hair stood upright, but he still refused to admit it.

"ouch!" Satoru cried out.

Sasuke tightened the bandage, snickering coldly. "So it was Tomato juice hurts too, huh, who would've thought?" exclaimed Sasuke with sarcasm in his voice.

" Satoru, your head is filled with tomato juice, right?" 

"Alright alright that's enough," Satoru said

"Time to show you my true skills!" Satoru stood up confidently.

"Satoru, what are you doing?" Sasuke asked Satoru, who was picking up the shuriken that was on the floor.

"Of course, I'm practicing shuriken throwing," Satoru said with a rare seriousness in his expression.

Of course, I was serious about practicing shuriken. I wasn't kidding when I said I was graduating from the academy no matter what.

And not just because of his dislike of academy life, but also because there is not much time left now, Itachi is now eight years old, and the Uchiha massacre is just a few years away. 

Of course, he can't spend all his time precious time in the academy. He also needs time to plan and arrange things.

He's still the same annoying bastard he was before. The corners of Sasuke's mouth lifted slightly.

"Hahaha, Sasuke, I am invincible in this world. Want to learn, my dear brother? Do you want to know my secret?" Satoru tempted Sasuke with a bright grin.

Your secret? Sasuke asked hesitantly. Suddenly, Satoru seemed to notice something, and he quickly threw one of his shuriken in one direction.

He walked over and found a little white snake hit by his shuriken.

"I hate these squishy, slippery, and cold mollusks the most," Satoru said, looking at the golden snake's eyes indifferently. Then he picked up the shuriken and ended the white snake's life.

Unexpectedly, Orochimaru had infiltrated the Uchiha tribe. Though it was only a clone, it was still a bold move, especially considering the Uchiha family's reputation.

In a dark cave, Orochimaru observed Satoru with interest. The Uchiha bloodline is indeed exceptional. Orochimaru found himself intrigued and decided to continue watching.

Then his clone was pierced through by a shuriken thrown by Satoru who wasn't even looking in his direction which made Orichimaru widen his eyes, you have to understand even veteran Jounin failed to notice his clone's presence

"he's really interesting!" he exclaimed.

Back to Satoru "Satoru, what are you doing?" Sasuke asked suspiciously.

"Ah, nothing. I just saw a greedy little snake that tried to swallow an animal bigger than itself and choked to death," Satoru explained with a smile.

"How can such a stupid snake even exist? It's not something you made up, is it?" Sasuke asked skeptically.

"Hey, have you become smarter?" Satoru said with a fake surprised look.
