Living Arrangements

"Computer, override, Superman 01, guest's name, Gogeta," Superman said to an old telephone booth. Of Ian did not know what they were he would have raised his brows in wonder. A camera appeared from the roof and scanned Superman from head to toes, twice.

"Identity confirmed; Superman 01," an animated female voice said. Then, the camera turned to Ian and the light scanned him again. "Added to database, Gogeta. Welcome to Watchtower."

The Zetatube whirled alive, making Ian become amazed by this technological wonder. A bright light consumed the two of them and a second later, they found themselves in a completely new location.

"Amazing," Ian said in delight. "This is a technological marvel for such a buckwater planet."

"I assume you have seen better?" an arrogant male's voice said from in front, making Ian look up with a frown. The speaker was Hal Jordan and he immediately knew he would not like the man, might be the Vegita in him.

"A green lantern! The surprises keep coming. Oh, a Martian Manhunter too. Wow, now I am glad I came to this planet," Ian said with a laugh. He was in too deep and he would keep lying till it worked. "I'm surprised you bastards have not been killed by the Guardians of the Universe after your genocide."

"What genocide?" Green Lantern and Martian Manhunter asked at the same time.

"Secrets, secrets, I guess they cannot be called an organization if they do not have a few skeletons in their closets," Ian said before turning to Superman. "You have an amazing team, Kal El. A Green Lantern, a Green Martian and a half god, no wonder you can say you do not fear Brainiac." He then turned to Batman.

"But I suppose the person who is far more interesting is the only normal human in here," Ian turned to Batman who was just watching this and then frowned when the attention was turned to him. "With a body like that, you are definitely a living weapon. Too bad you have limits. I guess you know that too if the amount of drugs keeping your body from falling apart can say about you." Everyone turned their attention to Batman who frowned even more.

"Who are you?" he growl d at Ian who came closer, right arm extended for a handshake.

"Gogeta, once one of the weakest beings in the universe now I am close to the peak," Ian said. "Do you want to know how? I can teach you."

"Why?" Batman asked instantly.

"The universe is a dangerous place for a normal human, even for me and I can destroy it without much effort. The beings you have fought are too low on the food chain. Soon, gods and immortal beings will be interested in this little dirt planet and no amount of tactics and little explosions on arts and crafts pieces will save you from them.

"But, I can teach you the power to have enough energy to destroy a planet with minimum effort. Why? Because you are a warrior. I can sense the despair in you and much much stronger than that, the Iron will to forge ahead against all odds. A will that can put even the most strong green lantern to shame. I know you will come to respect that power as much as I do and not use it for evil." The two looked at each other for a few more seconds, silence reigning the hallway.

None of the Justice League members could believe what was happening. They were called by Batman because of an emergency. When they arrived, they were shown a live feed of Superman getting his ass handed to him by a human with surprisingly gravity defying hair. Then, in a show of utter strength that shocked all of them, the human sent Superman back to Earth with a single punch!

Furthermore, Superman called and told them the entire story, the human not being human at all but an alien! Batman had decided to invite the alien to the Watchtower where the rest of the Leaguers were in hopes that the alien would get overpowered, especially by Martian Manhunter, Wonder Woman, Captain Atom and Captain Marvel if he was dangerous. Yet, here was the alien telling Batman he would teach him how to harness power enough to destory planets if he wished.

"If you are a warrior as you say you are then you don't mind if I can attest to that," Wonder Woman piqued in. She was slightly jealous of Batman, to have received the eye from such a strong man and not be recognized herself, she wanted the man to realize there were more warriors here than him. Ian turned to her and smiled.

"Ah, the half god," he started. "To come this far on your own is simply marvelous. Most get drunk on their power and I end up killing them before they kill more innocents. I can see the kindness in you and the warrior side of you burning. But, I am sure this little meteor will not withstand our blows. Maybe after our meeting here is done we can go to a more secure place." Wonder Woman smiled at him.

"It will be done," she promised.

"Right, follow us to the Hall," Batman said, slightly less colder than before as he led the way to the Meeting Hall. The Leaguers took their seats as Ian was showed a seat in front of everyone.

"Let's start with introductions. My codename is Batman. To my left is Wonder Woman, Green Martian, Red Tornado, Captain Atom, Hawk Girl, Aquaman, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Flash, Captain Marvel, Green Lantern and Superman." Each nodded at him when they were mentioned.

"I am Gogeta, last of us he Saiyans. We were a battle hungry race that took world conquering for fun till we decided it was not enough. We killed every last one of the Saiyans before I was born," Ian introduced himself.

"We? Who is that?" Black Canary asked almost immediately.

"I am a fusion of two of the last pier hearted Saiyans, Goku and Vegita this my name, Gogeta,"

"Superman said you want to live here in Earth. Why?" Captain Atom asked, his soldier side showing.

"I guessed since you were Earth's protectors you would grant me this. Besides, the being I am after is coming here too and something tells me I would be able to kill it here,"

"Right, after you failed the first time?" Hal Jordan piped in. Ian almost grinned inside. More show. Suddenly, his aura intensified and he changed right away into Super Saiyan One. Everyone was ready for battle while Hal was shitting bricks at just how powerful his aura suddenly became.

"Do not test me, lackey of the Maltusians. I have survived far worse to become your butt of jokes," Ian grimly warned Hal before his aura went down as he powered down. Everyone calmed down a little bit but they were all still on edge, especially Captain Atom. He could feel just how much energy Ian had and it shook him to the bone. Especially when he turned into Ssj 1, his power multiplied by 500 times, taking his already horrifying energy to a whole new level. He had never been truly terrified of energy like he was at the moment.

"Sorry, my anger takes the best of me sometime," Ian apologized.

"He has that effect on people," Flash laughed, making Ian send a smile on him. Seeing the moment defused, Batman jumped in.

"We will grant you stay in the planet as long as you agree to have a handler," he said, making everyone nod in agreement. He was simply too powerful and too powerful to be left alone.

"I can agree to this," Ian nodded.

"Right. Probably the most unbiased person here would be Martian Manhunter. If he agrees then he will be your handler," Batman said after a quick thought. Wonder Woman shot him a regretful stare which he returned with a glare of his own making her sigh with resignation.

"That is alright to me. I will be staying in the region of Japan, I found they speak the same language as my mother tongue, have the same literature too," Ian spoke up.
