I will write my liking and disliking part of this novel below: LIKE: i) MC's power is cool and all know who the author is trying to mimic from and I believe everybody will like his powers. ii) Side characters are very cunning and feels real and they have some good character development. iii) Story is great. iv) MC is ruthless when it is necessary. DISLIKE: i) I feel like despite all his powers main character does not seem OP enough. It would have fine if it were any other novel but since main character's power and character is based on we all know whom it feels like he struggles too much ii) The side characters are little too cunning it feels like everybody of his age has an IQ of 200. It would have been batter if they were little less intelligent. iii) The whole point of creating his joker identity feels little pointless since everybody knows that he is Joker and he showed all his power in the competition. iv) I did not liked the fact that nothing happened to Laust despite the fact that he tried to kill MC. Anyway this is a very good novel. You should at least give it a try first. Keep up the good work author.

I Stopped reading at chapter 11 The world setting is inspired of super gene But in a bad way (i am Talking about the 2 world and whi human can evolve in the new world and use there powers in The old one) The mc is stupid, he hate the world because he was bullied by is class mates and he keep talking about is great Objectif
I'm at chapter 600 right now and I feel like the writing quality has been dropping hard. The characters are all very shallow and every single character just states their intentions outright. That is not how humans behave. The main character is also a weird one. The author seems to believe that keeping secrets from the reader in a novel about a scheming MC is a good idea. It's really not. It just adds to the plot armour and stuff like that gets really frustrating after a while. The MC also sometimes just does stupid stuff that then happens to miraculously work out. Not gonna lie, sometimes the MC is just plain stupid. The story also doesn't feel like it exists. After chapter 500 or so all the mysteries that had been set up earlier have been resolved. Now the novel is just continuing to live without a soul. It's just about him getting stronger. There are so many stories like this. I just don't enjoy reading this novel anymore
Overall I enjoy the story so far but I'm leaving this review here in hopes for providing some constructive criticism to help develop the authors writing skills. In no way is this an attack on the author themselves just me speaking my honest opinion. To start the world building elements employed and character development are phenomenal. However the dialog between characters is extremely bland and hollow with very little cohesion in most conversations. Many of the conversations that happen just feel like they're repeated several times over in a very dry manner. On top of that the timing of those conversations don't always make sense. (Spoilers for the next few sentences) The example I'll provide is when two of the characters are running for their lives and have finally had some semblance of safety, rather than talking about the situation itself they begin talking about something that has nothing to do with their current situation and even then the dialog is just dry showing very little emotion for the situationthey just survived. There are a few moments where the dialog between characters is fantastic and help progress the plot in a meaningful way without adding extraneous information. In those moments the novel shines through and compels me to keep reading but they're few and far between. Next is the constant information and exposition dump that happens regularly. Often times it's said to "show not tell". However most of the exposition is told and even then not very well. The exposition provided feels forced and unrealistic in a way that pulls me away from the immersion a novel like this is supposed to provide. (Spoilers ahead) A good example of this happening would be in a scene where two characters just finished a fight and rather than talking about the fight, or maybe even talking about how they might improve, their mistakes, etc; they instead talk about the wider world in a way that once again feels forced and out of place. There are quite a few grammatical and spelling errors within the text, however that's something I am more than able to look past as it is commonplace with many of the novels on this platform. The part that upsets me is this is a novel I really want to enjoy. The characters themselves are great. The concept is fantastic. Illusionists/trickster MCs are some of my favorites to read about. But with constantly being pulled from the immersion I can't force myself to continue reading it. Again I'm writing this review because I really do want to see this novel and the author improve. I would've liked to give this novel a 2.5/5 but due to how reviews work on this platform that wouldn't allow for a truthful review so 3.6 it is. If I come back to this at a later date and find that many of these things have been fixed, than I will change my review to reflect that. Overall 2.5/5 Best wishes to the author and here's to hoping I won't be attacked for my constructive criticism.
Lol, God of tricksters my a**. That's some astonishingly low bar for a "trickster". So elite level assassins who are way above MC's level get tricked by MC playing dead. Mc has no consistent personality. He seems way too stupid to be considered intelligent and everyone else has an iq of a vegetable. So he is shown to be a genius for coming up with the most basic tactics and dedcutions. Interesting premise but extremely poor execution.
Can say this novel is nice as a normal combat novel. The MC isn't actually what I call a full "trickster" as from how many combat novels I read his tricks are subpar, as most combatants actually use tricks when they fight.I like how the story is actually flowing nicely as it isnt rushed and filled with too much info dumps.
An interesting take on the MCs abilities and powers. The pace is excellent and there are intense action scenes as well as some interesting conflicts of ideals and would views. The characters have some depth and their interactions with each other are enjoyable to read. The only fault for me is the lack of world building, but this may easily be solved in the upcoming chapters:)
This is in many ways a fairly average novel. It's enjoyable but will not blow your mind. The premise is pretty good, but it contains a lot of tropes (not in a very original combination). There are a few elements that make the plot stand out a bit but it's not that different when you look at the big picture. Not that it's necessarily a bad thing, just stating a fact. The author is either inexperienced or well, their writing is fairly standard for this site. There are no grammar mistakes but it just lacks something. Some parts, especially some dialogues, feel forced and the way characters think and act is sometimes very unnatural. The character designs are also quite shallow and typical. The mc doesn't stand out to me from all the other blue-haired, weak-to-strong, slightly apathic MCs who like to wear masks. I like that stereotype, don't get me wrong, but when you choose a fairly generic setting such as this, choosing generic characteristics for the mc is a way to make the book easy to forget.
