"Hello? Are you awake yet? Hello~?!"

I slowly feel my consciousness return at the sound of a soft, high feminine voice. My eyes open wearily, squinting slightly to get used to the bright light.

"Oh good, you're awake, that took forever!"

I sit up from the hard surface I'm laying on, looking toward where the voice came from, a little disoriented. I'm greeted by the sight of a young pink haired girl; she appears to be in her mid-teens, though her most prominent feature would definitely be the butterfly-like wings on her back. That's new. Did I get drunk or something?

"Uh...what?" Is the only intelligible thought I can formulate.

"You must be confused," she giggles, "Perhaps this will help," she waves her hand towards me and words pop up right in front of my face.

Congratulations! You are now a host to the Gamer System! Your Gamer Guide will walk you through your character creation and tutorial!

"...Is this some kind of joke? Did I get put on drugs or something?" I ask while looking around. I'm in some kind of huge library, and I mean huge! I can't see the ceiling or any walls; I see several different levels of shelves and floors above and below me, filled to the brim with books of every kind; old, new, some intricate with different designs on their spines and covers, while others are plain, only one solid color. It's honestly kind of impressive. The design of whatever building I'm in is very ornate and furnished.

"Of course you're not on drugs, silly," the pinkette fairy laughs, "You're dead! Welcome to your afterlife! I'm Katie, your Gamer Guide and Host! As my title implies, I'll be guiding you through what you must do to start your second life!" She flies up and puts her hand on my head, "Now hold still, I'll be returning your memories."

There's a flash of light before my memories of the last 24 hours flood through my mind. Woah...she's right. I did die. That kinda sucks! I say kinda because my life really wasn't all that great, and I didn't always make the best choices, but it was still my life! I had been on a plane flying home from a vacation to Japan; the plane was taken over by terrorists. Terrorists for crying out loud! I happened to be near the front of the plane to talk to the hostess. There were two guys with guns held up to the pilots heads; I...holy crap, that's right! They hadn't noticed me, so I tried to stop them...what on earth was I thinking!? I only knew basic self defense and they had guns! I wince and bring my hand up to my chest, feeling the phantom pain of their bullets going through me.

"That's right," Katie says, giving me a sad smile, "After you tried to stop those terrorists, they shot you four times in the chest. It killed you instantly," she flew up to one of the shelves nearby and grabbed a couple of books, before flying back down, "But if it makes you feel any better, your actions did save everyone! One of the pilots was ex-military, and you gave him the distraction he needed to apprehend the bad guys! So, for your sacrifice, you were selected to be the Gamer of your very own multiverse! Your personal heaven! Though you definitely didn't live a 'perfect' life, so it won't all be sunshine and rainbows. Oh, that reminds me! Here this'll help with the shock and all that," She gives me a big, proud smile while waving her hand.

"Woah…" I say, feeling a sense of calm take over, allowing me to think clearly, "So...this is heaven, but not?"

"No, silly," Katie smiles at me, "This is the Record Room where all life is judged! Now, let's get right to it!"

Room, huh? I think to myself as I look around the absolutely massive "room" we're in.

She sets the books down on a table before sitting on it and turning to me.

"Every Gamer System that's set up comes with its own special flare, or perk, which is assigned randomly," she waves her hand again, making more words appear in front of me.

Character Creation Stage!

Select your Race!

Humanoid, Beast, Beastial, Construct, Elemental, Celestial, Demonic, Draconic, Monstrous

"Your system allows you to select what race you want to start out as!" Katie exclaims happily. You know, I can get used to that enthusiasm. She's cute, like an adorable kitten or ecstatic puppy.

"Each of these categories branches off into a more specific breed of a race," She continues, "For example, if you chose humanoid, you'd be able to select anything from human, dwarf, elf, wookie, and so much more!"

"Wait, wookie? The ones from Star Wars?" I ask.

"Yes! There is absolutely no limit to what you can choose to be! Every creature you can be falls under one of these categories," she explains.

"Wow, that is quite the boon…" I say to myself as I look back to the words.

Wow, this really is my own personal heaven! I loved games, literature, and pop-culture back home! The potential for this is awesome!

"Before I decide, which multiverse am I being sent to?" I ask.

"That will be determined randomly," She giggles as she starts kicking her feet, "Now hurry up and choose! I can't wait to get started!"

"Well, that puts a spin on things…" I turn back to the words again, muling through my options. What kind of character do I want to be? I could go with a human, but I feel like that would be such a waste! Not to mention I have no idea where I'll be going… plus this kind of opportunity doesn't just happen! But what to choose…

I know which one I want. In life, they were my favorite thing ever! They represented something special to me; but at the same time, there were other possible races I could be that could be even stronger! Like a Kryptonian, titan, or even a Saiyan for crying out loud! If I explored the celestial side I might even be able to be a god or something! And yet, despite knowing about those powerful races, the one that I actually want is just too tempting to pass up. And let's be honest, their potential can be limitless.

"Draconic," I firmly nod my head.

"Ooh, this'll be interesting!" I swear Katie's eyes just sparkled a bit, "I should have guessed, of course you would pick dragons!" I guess she knows me better than I thought; this is a record room. She must have read my "file" or something.

Draconic Race has been selected!

Choose your subrace!

Amphiptere, Arctic, Eastern, Basilisk, Coatyl, Western, Dragonelle, Drake, Fey Dragon, Hydra, Sea Orc, Wyrm, Wyvern, Dragonborn, Dragonspawn, Dragon Turtle, Leviathan, Behemoth, Manta, Royal, Scaleborn, Scaleling, …

The list was endless! I had no idea there were so many different types of dragons out there! It even listed some from How to Train Your Dragon further down the list, along with others I had never even heard of!

"If you have any questions, just ask me!" Katie exclaimed happily.

"There are so many!" I cry out, "How am I supposed to decide…What's the difference between a dragonborn and a dragonspawn?"

"Hmm…how to describe it…" Katie cups her chin, "Think of a dragonspawn as a physical manifestation of a dragon in humanoid form, almost like a lizard-man type thing, but way more powerful! It's very strong physically with remarkably sharp senses. A dragonborn is a humanoid born with the soul of a dragon; their appearance can be almost any humanoid race. All Dragonborn are unique in their own way. What they excel in depends on what kind of dragon soul they have."

"Hmm…okay, tell me about…"

The next long while is me asking all sorts of questions about the different races of dragons. Some of them are really tempting...the dragonborn is especially appealing; I'd be able to look human (or near human) but still be classified as a dragon. Scaleling was an interesting one too. They're half-dragons that are indistinguishable from their humanoid parent, just like a dragonborn; except they have more physical abilities than a dragonborn. Apparently they're also supernaturally beautiful. As tempting as those ones are, though, I think I want to go with more of a classic kind of dragon look…

"What can you tell me about this Royal option here?"

"Ooh, those ones are good! Among all the dragons out there, they have the most raw power; Royal Dragons are direct descendants of dragon gods, such as Tiamat, Bahamut, Baphomet, Aura, Akatosh, all those powerful guys!" Katie says enthusiastically.

"Dragon gods, huh?" Now that sounded appealing…

"You know what, I'll go with Royal Dragon," I decide. It's about time, too. I think I've been trying to pick one for at least a couple of hours.

"Not a bad choice!" Katie waves her hand again.

You have selected:

Royal Dragon

The rarest breed of dragon, all of them near direct descendants of the Dragon Gods. The Royal dragon is the largest of dragon-kind, save for the Behemoth dragons, and never truly stop growing, though their growth rate slows exponentially as they get older. They are known for their strength and majesty, and are adept magic practitioners. Their appearance varies, depending on their draconic parents.

Oh yeah, I'm feeling good about this one.

"Biggest except for Behemoths, huh?" I ask, "How big do they get?"

"The largest dragon ever recorded was an Eastern Behemoth known as Jade," Katie smiles, "She was larger than several galaxies and lived to be around 16.6 billion earth years!"

"Holy crap!" I exclaim, "That's almost three times older than the earth itself!"

"Dragons are no joke!" Katie giggles, "Alright, next up is your Draconic Affinity!"

Choose your Affinity:

Fire, Water, Ice, Lightning, Venom/Poison, Light, Shadow, Stone, Thunder, Acid, Force, Necrotic, Terra, Nature, Arcane, Vampiric, Energy, Psionic, Astral, Sky, Metallic, Mecha, …

"Geez, the list for this one is longer than the last one!" I rub the side of my head, "What does an Affinity entail, anyway?"

"Your Draconic Affinity will determine several abilities your dragon race gives you," Katie explains, "Such as your power breath, different resistances, innate magic or lack thereof, what color you'll be, even vulnerabilities you may get!"

"Will I be able to learn other magic, or would I be limited to my affinity?"

"Oh, don't worry, you'll be able to learn other magic no problem! Especially since the Royal dragon typically has an adept magical ability," Katie turns around and starts leafing through one of the books, "The nice thing about this is that all of the Affinities are relatively equal in power, depending on the strength of the individual dragon, so don't worry, whatever you choose can get really strong! Also, you don't have to worry too much about other magic you could learn; you're gonna be a Gamer! There's no limit to what you can learn!"

"Good point," I say.

I look back at the words and ponder my options. I could just go with the classic fire breathing dragon...it's honestly really tempting. It would make this simpler too; but at the same time I am curious about these other options…

"What's an Arcane dragon like?"

"An Arcane Affinity would give you the most versatile compatibility with magic; your power breath would be pure, raw arcane mana. You'll also start with more intelligence, though you would be weaker physically," Katie looks up from her book, "Is that the one you want?"

"No, I'll keep looking, I haven't decided."

Okay, so each affinity has its own strengths and weaknesses; it would stand to reason then that the shadow affinity would be weak to light based magics and such, fire would be weak to water, etc. I guess this goes back to what kind of character, or dragon, I want to be and create. I would prefer to be one that has a wide skill set, and the Game could help me with that no matter which affinity I pick here.

You know what, I'll just go with the Arcane Affinity. I'll be among the most powerful of the dragon race, I can probably handle most physical challenges just fine. And having a versatile mastery over dragon magic? That's gotta be powerful! I could probably use that to master some kind of elemental magic; heck, I wouldn't even have to limit myself to elemental magics!

"I'll go with Arcane," I firmly nod my head.

"Excellent, we can finally move on!" Katie exclaimed impatiently. She waves her hand again; the words change into a picture of a dragon. It looks awesome! Massive, scaled bat-like wings on its back, the tip of the tail looks like some kind of double-bladed slender ax, scales so purple it's almost black in some places, with a lighter underside.

"You can make it just about any color you want with this kind of affinity," Katie says, "Though the default is the one you see here."

I pause to think for a second. I play around with the avatar for a few minutes, messing with the colors, changing the types of Horns and tail tip, and moving around a few more aesthetics. I even had control on where the eyes were on the head! In the end, I settled with black scales on the upper side of the body with spiraling intricate red, and the underside going a lighter shade of black turning into red. I had two main horns on the head with several smaller spikes surrounding them, with smaller ears just behind them. I kept the tail how it was, because that thing is cool! I made the eyes to be different shades of glowing red.

"Nice, not a bad look at all!" Katie smiles, "Totally fierce looking! Though it might contradict with the purple power breath...here, let's do this!"

She waves her hand and the red patterns on the scales start to glow a little, just ever so slightly.

"Now your raw mana and arcane magic will be a deep red color instead of purple!" She exclaims happily.

"Awesome, I'll take it!" It actually looks really cool with that glow! I'm excited, I can't wait to get this thing started!

"Okay, now you need to select a class, but first I'll explain leveling up to you!" Katie says, "Each class has one hundred levels, and every time you get to level 50 in a class you can choose a new one! Certain special sub-classes are locked until you max out certain base classes or meet other prerequisites. Your level will be the total level combined of all your classes. Now, the dragon race is special in that it also has its own level system! Though it's harder to level up and takes a lot longer; your dragon level is just the total of all your levels. Make sense?"

"Yep, makes perfect sense."

"Perfect! Oh, one more thing about the dragon race," She continues, "They have different age ranks, which vary depending on your sub-race. For royal dragons the first ten to fifteen years of your life you'll be a wyrmling; up until you reach near a hundred or so years you'll be a youngling; then for the next thousand or so you'll be an adult; after that you'll be in the Ancient stage!"

"So it's kind of like how dragon ages are classified in Dungeons and Dragons?" I ask.

"Almost, yep!" Katie smiles, "And after you hit a milestone in each stage your dragon race will power up even more and you'll gain special abilities specific to your race and affinity. Oh, one more thing: a wyrmling is only able to speak the Draconic language. Any more questions?"

"Wait, only Draconic? I won't be able to understand English, or any other languages I know right now? Do you know how long I studied Japanese?!" Gosh dangit, that's like two years of my now-previous life wasted!

"Oh don't worry! You'll only be able to speak Draconic; your wyrmling, or baby dragon vocal cords will be developing. You'll be able to understand all that you learned in your first life, including languages. No need to sweat it!" Katie laughs at me, "Anything else?"

"Uh, no I think I'm good…" I say, "It makes sense when you put it like that." Now I can't help but get excited! This game might be more interactive and realistic than I originally anticipated! But at the same time…dang, I'll have to wait an obscenely long time…

"Alright, go ahead and select a class!"

Select your Class!

Fighter, Mage, Rogue, Support

"I'm assuming each of these have some kind of subclass?" I glance at Katie.

"Yes! And remember, you can unlock new subclasses when you max out certain ones; but right now you start with the basics!"

Well, what kind of class do I want? As an arcane dragon, it would make sense for me to go the Mage route, but if I wanted a more rounded skill set I should go with Rogue or Support, perhaps even Fighter...hmm decisions, decisions…

"Can I see what the Mage class has?"

"Sure!" Katie waves her hand.

Select a Subclass!

Elementalist, Illusionist, Druid, Necromancer, Summoner, Warlock

"Each one of these has a lot of potential…" I say to myself. There's something else that I want to check though. "Can you show me the support classes?"

"Sure!"

Select a Subclass!

Alchemist, Bard, Healer, Enchanter, Engineer, Runecaster

"Hmm…" I've been doing some thinking here. It would probably be a good idea for me to start off by choosing a class that will give me some kind of attack that I could use to defend myself; but at the same time, I'll be a dragon. My power breath could be that attack. And though an arcane dragon isn't the most physically adept dragon, my body won't stop growing! I'm sure that if I take care of it, it'll grow strong just fine as I age. With all that in mind…

"I'll go with Runecaster," I nod firmly.

"Well, I wasn't expecting that," Katie taps her chin in thought, "I thought you would have gone for the mage or fighter classes."

Class Gained!

Runecaster

Gain 2 INT and 2 WIS every level up

Select Runic Language!

Draconic, Elvish, Norse, Sith

"Wait, some of these are grayed out…" I observed, frowning slightly.

"Yep!" Katie smiles, "It was automatically selected for you because of your race; you'll be starting out as a wyrmling. Draconic is the only new language the system will be able to use with you for the first decade or so of your life."

"That makes sense, I guess," I rub the back of my head. Dang! I wanted to see what that Sith one is all about! If it's referring to what I think it is, then it's a class that'll let me use Sith Runes from Star Wars! Oh well, I'm certain that runes related to dragons of all things will be incredibly powerful too!

Skill Gained!

Runic Mastery, Draconic (LVL 1) 0%

"Oh yes!" Katie suddenly exclaims, making me jump a little, "Now we can get to my favorite part! The perk draw!"

"The perk draw?" I tilt my head at her.

"Yeah! The perk draw is where you have the option to take a random perk for a random trait! They can literally be anything! You can get something good or bad, or completely neutral!"

"Neutral?" I raise an eyebrow, "What does that mean?"

"You know, something not useful but not useless or bad either," she explains before stars shine in her eyes, "Now, ya wanna do it? You should totally do it!"

"Uh, sure I don't see why not," It's a risk, but what's life without a little risk, ya know?

"Awesome, let's see what you get first!"

Perk Gained!

Earthbender

You are able to telekinetically control the earth around you, and now have access to the earthbending skill tree.

Woah! That's awesome!

"Wow!" I say out loud, "When it says earthbending, is it talking about the same kind of bending from Avatar: The Last Airbender?"

"The one and only!" Katie Exclaims, "Now here comes the trait!"

Trait Gained!

Battlelust

You crave a good fight, and are always eager to prove yourself and get strong enough to face the best, be they friend or foe.

Okay...I can work with this, that actually isn't too bad.

"Wow, not a bad haul at all here," Katie smirks up at me, "Wanna try again?"

"Yeah, why not," I smile back, "I'm feeling pretty lucky right now."

"Don't jinx it!" She laughs.

Perk Gained!

Longevity

You have an unnaturally long lifespan for your race. Assuming you are not killed by outside forces, you will live for a long time by the standards for your race.

My jaw dropped at this one; Katie seemed pretty surprised too.

"Wow, dragons have the potential to live for thousands of years on average!" She smiles at me, "I hope you're ready for a long haul, you'll be here for a very long time now! Assuming you aren't killed, of course."

Trait Gained!

Attractive

You are very good looking. Like, really good looking! Even if you try to make yourself look ugly, you more often come out attractive still! People are just attracted to you, no matter what form you take.

"Wow. I'm not complaining or anything, but how is that going to work with me being a giant, magical, flying lizard?"

"I guess we'll find out, won't we?" Katie shrugs, giggling, "Wanna go again?"

"Yeah I do! This has worked out really well for me!" Like, seriously, how lucky can I get here?

Oh, why did I say that! I really hope I didn't just jinx it! Where's wood, I need to go knock on wood fast! I think quickly as I start to hop on one foot.

Perk Gained!

Corded Muscle

Your muscles have bulging potential, and a lot of power behind them, though it will take some training to back up that natural talent.

For every level up, you gain +2 to your Strength stat.

Ha ha ha! This couldn't have worked out better for me! Now my physical strength won't be as much of an issue!

Trait Gained!

Destined Enemy

You are destined to do battle with a very strong foe. No matter your level of power, you will be evenly matched. The outcome of this battle is indiscernible.

Yikes! Well, I'd better get as strong and smart as I can quick, huh? Don't want to be caught off guard when this guy shows up. Or would I want him (assuming it even is a guy) to show up as soon as possible, so he won't be as strong?

"This'll make things interesting!" Katie pipes up, "You wanna try your luck again? You've had it pretty good so far, but how far will you push it?"

I bring my hand up to cup my chin. Do I want to risk it? I'll never get this opportunity again…

"We'll go one more time," I decide, looking Katie in the eye while I knock on a wooden bookshelf.

"Ooh, a risk taker, I like it!" Katie laughs, waving her hand again.

Perk Gained!

Eidetic Memory

You have a powerful memory. You rarely forget anything you see. You are able to recall a memory clearly, and can even see it play out in your mind for a few seconds at a time if you concentrate.

Woah! This is going to be useful! I'll be able to learn so much so fast! Oh, this is great!

Trait Gained!

Loyalty

You are loyal to a fault. You are loyal to those you hold dear to the point where it can be dangerous; your loyalty can be triggered toward someone seemingly at random, depending on what kind of situation you are in. This has the potential to happen to both friend and foe; perhaps to those you don't even know.

"Well that one wasn't too bad…" I say to myself. Sure it has the potential to become detrimental if I suddenly become loyal to an enemy of mine, but I doubt I'd end up in that kind of situation.

…Oh dear.

"Wow, you have gotten pretty lucky so far!" Katie looks at me with a bit of a smirk, "You wanna continue pushing your luck here?"

"Ho, man!" I brush my hands through my hair, "I really do! But at the same time, I don't know if I wanna make that gamble…"

"It's your choice!" Katie smiles again.

"...Oh, what the heck, let's go again!"

"Oh yeah!" Katie exclaims!

Perk Gained!

Chocolate Sense

You are always able to tell where chocolate is if there is any nearby.

"…What?"

"Oh, hahaha!" Katie bursts out laughing, having to clutch her stomach, "Wow, that's an amazing skill to have!"

Trait Gained!

Wrath of Sloth

You are not easy to anger. You just can't bring yourself to bother being angry for very long because it tires you out. But when something ignites true wrath in you, your fury is enough to shake the heavens. You will stop at nothing to obtain vengeance or justice, until your wrath is sated.

Oh-kay, and that's our que to stop! This one doesn't seem all that bad, but I know from my past life what anger can do to a person. It's not pretty.

"Ooh, that one could come back to haunt ya," Katie winces, "Okay, we have one more thing before we get started."

Choose Name:

_

"Wait, a name?" I look at Katie, "We're not just using my name?"

"You could if you wanted to," She gives me a somber smile, "But remember, this is your character creation. As soon as we leave here, everything about you will change; your physical and spiritual physiology, your very soul, will change from human to dragon. The only thing that won't change are your memories and your personality; but even that will be influenced by the perks and traits you've obtained and will obtain."

"Oh…" I look down. That was a sobering thought. I would basically be losing my humanity…

I hear footsteps approach me; I look up to see Katie right in front of me. She's just a few inches shorter than me right now, but the peaceful look in her eyes brings me a sense of calm I have never felt before.

"Who we are is not determined by what we are," She gives me a small smile as she puts her hand on my shoulder, "Who we are is determined by the choices we make. You won't be losing anything, despite the changes you'll go through."

"And remember," Her smile widens, "You'll be a Gamer! Almost nothing will be impossible for you!"

"You're not wrong," I smile softly at her. She's right. I may not be human anymore after this, but I'll still be me. Besides, why would I want to stay human after an opportunity like this?

"So!" I say brightly, "A name huh? What would be a good name for a dragon…?"

"Kilgara," I decide, "I choose the name Kilgara."

"Awesome!" Katie exclaims, "Ready to get started?"

"Yep!" I smile at her, "I can't wait to see where I end up!"

"Perfect! Before I send you off, I'll tell you a couple more things," she turns to face me more fully, "Whenever you want to use an active skill, simply think of it or say its name," She continues, "Also, before you go I'll be sending you to a beta-field so you can get used to your abilities."

"Sounds good!" I grin, nearly bouncing on my feet with excitement.

"Alrighty then, let's go!" She says enthusiastically before waving her hand again; our surroundings blink and change as if someone flicked a light switch. Instead of the massive ornate library, we're in a large city, not unlike New York City, except the sky is red, as if there was a massive sunset taking place at dusk. I instinctively sniff the air; this place smells like...death. Wait, death? That has a scent?

Racial skill discovered!

Enhanced Senses

As a dragon, you have extremely sensitive senses; your enhanced sense of smell, hearing, and awareness allows you to see without your eyes to a certain range.

Blindsense (Active) LVL 1 - 20 feet

Wait, what?

"Well, looks like you're already getting started on discovering those racial traits!" I hear Katie behind me. I turn to look around at her, but I stop as soon as I move my head. Something felt weird…

I look down at my hands; instead of seeing human fingers I see powerful looking black talons with red scales making a large spiral pattern on the back of them. I look behind me to see large, scaly bat-like wings, which unfold at my command. Holy crap…

"That's right!" Katie says excitedly, "You're a dragon now!"

I look back at her; she's so much smaller now! She could fit in the palm of my hand! Or, talon, I guess.

"Wow, this is…surreal!" I exclaim, surprising myself yet again at how deep and thunderous my voice is now.

"This is the last part of our tutorial," Katie smiles, flying up in front of my face, which is now a reptilian snout, "You're currently in your adult stage, but you'll start out as a wyrmling as soon as we exit the dungeon; oh, and your stats are at level one still."

"Status," I say.

Wow, that's a lot of mana points to start with! Though the low strength, health, and stamina balance it out...But that strength perk I got should help make up for it eventually as I level up. Speaking of which…

"Perks."

Enhanced Senses

As a dragon, you have extremely sensitive senses; your enhanced sense of smell, hearing, and awareness allows you to see without your eyes to a certain range.

Blindsense (Active) LV 1 - 20 feet

Wow, I'm really lacking in this department…

"Okay," Katie says, turning away from me, "If you look down there you'll see your first opponents!"

My ears pick up a clanking noise near me; I look down to see two skeletons creaking their way toward me, both holding metal swords of some kind.

Creepy, I think to myself. I think back to the skills I have as they approach; aside from just bashing them with my talons I don't know what else I can do against them. The only skill I have is Runic Mastery but how do I…oh, that's how. I drew a simple rune in the ground in draconic, then poured some mana into it. Fire. As soon as I do, the rune lights on fire, which the skeletons walk into. As soon as they finish burning up, a single pink coin of some kind falls on the ground.

I hear more creaking sounds behind me; I turn my head back and see four more skeletons approaching from a nearby alley way. I prepare two more fire runes, which ignite the moment I pour mana in them. My ears pick up the sound of more behind me; they just keep on coming!

As I'm fighting Katie explains to me, "Every so often you'll find these things called Information Tokens; that's what that pink thing is! If you want to know anything at all from me, just throw it on the ground with the intent to summon me! I wish I could be witnessing everything you choose to do in person, but I'm pretty busy with other things right now. As soon as you've gotten used to using your basic abilities here, I'll send you off!"

I don't know how long I was fighting the skeletons, but I got really into it! I ended up running out of mana at one point, so I had to start using my talons, teeth, and tail to attack. This method wasn't as effective because of my low strength skill, but in the end I leveled up three times!

Looks like I get 5 extra points to spend every level up, awesome! Now to decide where to put these…

I think I'll save them for now, actually.

"Smart choice," Katie says, seeing me almost use the stat points, "Okay, you ready?" She smiles at me one last time.

"Yeah," I smirk. Oh, I can't wait to see what happens!

Katie smiles at me once more before I see her wave her hand, one final time.

Then I saw nothing but darkness.
