I actually liked the novel for the first few hundred chapters, but somehow the mc degressed to a psychopathic hypocrite. He is searching for the slightest imagined insult to rob, it would be ok if he were described as an evil character, but the writing style suggests he is something like a hero. The farm setting develops into a background setting, conceptually it is more like a system that evolves or multiplies what it is given. It´s like someone wanted to create a unique system but had no idea how or what it should do

dropping at chapter 454 coz it's just too much. i used to love this novel. been a fan since it was released but then this racism comes in (well what do you expect from Ching authors) sooo it's about this ape z i think king kong from skull island. the mc and the other strong guy with him from earth have known that ape killed 300 MILLION western people , destroyed some big and small western countries too. they say they could easily kill it but they didn't. mc vowed to protect earth but maybe the author should've rewrite it as protect the huaxia only. what's worse? the ape sword allegiance to the mc [img=faceslap]. bruh how can you have a servant who have blood of millions of innocent people ? i've been reading Chinese novels for over 7 years but this one is just too much. fvk
A 3.6, maybe a shaky 3.8 from me. A farming system. Does that mean he farms mystical crops, does smart trading and uses them to upgrade his status, fame and power? Nope, it's so that he gains an easy, no thinking ability that does everything and more. The System: A farming system that literally grows everything as long as 'fertilizer' is added. Including exploding peas, eye sight enhancing carrots (carrots don't actually improve eye sight) and soul enhancing cucumbers and the bust increasing corn(as of chapter 59). The characters: There was so much potential here. But with the transmigrated somewhat clichèdly perverted MC, the slapstick mindreader that was so very disappointingly introduced and the woman who drank so much 'corn juice' that her bust size increased to H cup. The story: Again, this was a missed opportunity. The people in power have known about the revitalization of Qi and have been preparing for it. A transmigrated MC with an op farm system, a government organisation that seeks to maintain order in the country and it's destructive counterpart that seeks to destroy it. This, if done right, could've been a good action novel but it relies so heavily on sexual innuendos (thick juicy corn, a blushing easily distracted mindreader that keeps screaming pervert and such) that it just ruins that flow.
with experience of reading books for like 50 years now i am so sorry to say that in my opinion the pick up novel this week the 25 september. is very poor, this novel's don't have any taste what so ever. and i am sorry to say that in my opinion also the new selection in the trail this week also not so good in my eyes. remember i read book even before the internet. and there is still a few novels here that is very good 2
Honestly, its a really good book and I am not sure why the reviews are so low. But that out of the way, the MC is in a world where martial arts and various superpowers/abilities are popping up do to a new energy appearing. MC gets stronger by farming, want to raise cultivation? Grow some QI pills. Want a nice movement technique? Make a knockoff and plant it. It also contains comedy with the main theme being similar to other books like the Black tech internet Cafe and those others where the MC is set for progressing in life but other elements crop up. Other elements like MC farm advancement of other interesting things. I feel like I could use something better than Black tech internet Cafe for the review, is there a genre I have forgotten?

an reasonable idea completely ruined by the mc of this novel. The mc is an idiot and to make matters worse has no problems whatsoever to feed poison to pets (and for people who want to argue that he had a good reason should find a mirror and ask themselves why he doesn't test the poison on himself, whatever the answer that is the answer that should be used to not poison pets, ever). This novel not just goes wrong on the humanity side of the characters but also in writing quality. This is one of those novels where the humor must come from the mc doing dumb things, not understanding that the vast majority of those jokes are not funny and will never be funny. Some might make you smile but none will make you laugh out loud.
It’s been a while since I finished it but thought I should review it anyways. First problem I had with the book, the MC. I really can’t stand the shameless MC trope. All he does is humble brag. I can’t tell if the guy is acting stupid or if he is that stupid, either way I don’t like it. I thought the farm system was cool at times. Story is fine I guess. I did like the worldbuilding. It did seem like some care was put into developing the lore of the universe. You probably won’t regret reading it.
