Chapter 55

While Naruto was talking to others, The Justice League gathered to confirm the future. They were about to make an important decision, so they couldn't avoid making such a move. All of them were gathered and waiting for Flash to gather the information.

Using the Cosmic Treadmill, Flash went 5 years into the future and it was beyond his expectation. There was nothing, he was floating in empty space. There were no planets and there was no sun.

'Where am I?' Flash wondered as he was unsure if he was in the right place or something went wrong with the device.

He couldn't find a single clue of the area being their solar system. Thinking about it, Flash decided to move around and see if he could find his planet.

Running along, Flash moved from one place to another until he came across Rimbor. It was one of the Planets he knew about and it was a gathering place of criminals. Regardless, it was good enough for him since he could finally get some information.

'I should probably talk to Green Lantern about space travel. Travelling in the dark is terrible.' Flash thought as he started gathering information and came across terrible news.

The Earth and its solar system were gone. It had been five years since it took place and the one behind it was the Emperor. The Emperor killed all heroes and villains on the planet, before devouring the whole solar system like his species.

He belonged to a parasite like species that sucked dry the life force of planets and stars. If that wasn't enough, these creatures made people stronger and killed them. These creatures would strengthen everyone on a planet and then kill them before devouring the planet's life force. It was not for some sadistic reason, these creatures gained the experience, skills and powers of all beings that died on the planet.

Emperor had made humanity and the super humans stronger, and would have fattened them even more if he hadn't been caught. It led to a battle, and he ended everyone earlier. In the current date, Flash learned that Emperor was on his home planet getting ready to wage war against the Green Lanterns while his little demons were rampaging across the universe.

Emperor had children with some of the women from earth and those children were destroying other solar systems like their demonic father. He even had a child with Wonderwoman, Troia, Hawkgirl, Mera, Raven, Supergirl, Powergirl and Starfire. Flash knew that those women wouldn't allow such a thing normally, so it meant he forced them and killed them after they gave birth.

The knowledge gained from the future was horrifying and Flash was worried that this news would accelerate their demise. The fact that Emperor managed to destroy the world, meant that he was too strong for them.

Barry was terrified and moved around at fast speeds to calm his mind, and think. He needed to know a way to win.

'What was the weakness of the Otsutsuki?' Flash thought and decided to find the weakness of the creatures. They must have one, he thought.

He tried looking for it and only got into a worse mood. The creatures had no weakness. They relied mostly on energy attacks, but that didn't meant they were physically weak either. Emperor was one of the strongest from the species and he could copy everything with a single glance. Meaning, he knew all the powers of the earth creatures.

'I will let Batman handle this. It is beyond my expertise.' Flash couldn't come up with an answer and decided to go back, and inform the rest.

It all looked so dismal and everything pointed towards Emperor. However, it was opposite of what Emperor was doing in the normal timeline. Flash didn't think anyone would try to trick him in the future and he was fooled by a trickster.

The trickster was from the fifth dimension and he was called Vyndktvx. Lord Vyndktvx was one of three children born to the Queen of Brpzx. After his mother's death, he was sent away to became a court magician, lauded for his meticulous and highly-logical tricks. When these were passed over by the king in favour of Mxyzptlk's more chaotic and fanciful style - and even worse, when this won the heart of the princess - it caused Vyndktvx to go mad with jealousy.

Breaking into a weapons storage facility, the imp stole a set of armaments, including the Nothingcoat, the Imaginator and the million-pointed Multispear. He struck out in the night at a shape wearing Mxyzptlk's iconic hat but struck the wrong man and murdered the king. With horrific scarring on his left arm, Vyndktvx worked fast to obscure his crime, first by disposing of the witnesses - putting Mxyzptlk in a glass coffin and forcing Nyxlygsptlnz into exile - and then attempting to dispose of the evidence - namely, Mxyzptlk's stories of costumed champions, and his prize trick, "Superman".

Using the Emperor to dispose of Superman was the trickster's plan and for that plan to succeed, he falsified the data that Flash gathered. But, that wasn't all. The devilish trickster brought to the normal timeline a figure, a figure that would further cast doubt on Emperor and lead to a destructive war.

"See Mxyzptlk, it is quite easy to dispose of your favorite toy."The trickster muttered as he further influenced the people in the past to become easily doubtful and paranoid. The Emperor was too charismatic, so the trickster needed to interfere even further.

Getting back to the present, Flash informed the team of his findings and none expected it. It would have never made any sense, but knowing his species it made sense. He was an Otsutsuki and Green Lantern gave a great account on their exploits across the universe, none of which were positive. These creatures were pure evil.

Meaning, there was no chance that Emperor was good. He was just playing with them. Getting their head around that fact was hard, especially for Superman. But, not even he could come up with any real defense.

However, they decided not to attack. The news was terrible, but there was a possibility that it was wrong. Batman was the one who put that possibility forward, since he felt that it looked too perfect. Emperor didn't seem like the person that would give away his bad deeds across the Universe, it was illogical and out of character.

Nonetheless, Batman had countermeasures ready for Emperor. Using their alien tech, Batman and Superman had created machines to disrupt the energy and absorb it. However, that wasn't the main combat method. Superman was their main fighter and Batman had formed a way to give him all their abilities, since Emperor couldn't be fought with a single power.

With all the things on the table, the Justice League was cautious but wasn't despairing. The information about the Emperor could be false, but the solar system did disappear. So, they needed to avoid that future.

The future seemed terrible and it was about to get worse for everyone. If Flash had looked to the side, he would have noticed that Krypton was back and it was the new menace of the Universe.

And, it all started from the current date. Arriving in the secret base of the Suicide Squad, a mysterious figure took away General Zod. He came and disappeared like a ghost. After that, the same figure appeared in the Fortress of Solitude and took away a priceless artifact without sounding the alarm. The fortress recognized the individual as its own and the male Kryptonian disappeared after finishing his business.

The figure was called H'El, and he was the big brother of Superman. H'El was a Kryptonian survivor with the mission to preserve Krypton's legacy in any way possible, no matter how ruthless. He would have appeared openly on Earth, but the knowledge about the planet had made him reconsider his decision and he went with the cautious method.

He took the device that had the memories of all Kryptonians and decided to resurrect all of his people by recreating their bodies, and implanting the memories inside those bodies. He had even found a new planet to inhabit. However, he wanted his people to live differently this time. He had seen the world and decided that the inferior species didn't deserve such freedom. Kryptonians deserved to rule the Universe and not be caged to a planet/ solar system that weakened them.

They were going to get revenge on all the beings involved the cruel game and they were going to rule the world.
