Reviews of Elder Blood Witcher

I had a hard time finding a fanfic or a novel involving a Witcher related world. But when I downloaded this app I was surprised that this one was frequently updated and looked like it had a story I read through the Witcher story arc / part 30 chapters and then can the absolver THING I knew nothing so I waited for it to fly by it did .Then the long dark souls series, I do not know how long you are wanting to draw this story out. I hope we get back to the Witcher story but to have this many chapters dedicated to dark soul this should have just been a dark souls story instead.

An excellent novel so far (6 chapters), gored desires are well thought out, unlike some other novels with not thought out or just silly desires. The fights are well and interestingly described. I can’t appreciate the chromaticity because English is not my native language. I hope the author brings some of his ideas to guess about magic, the witchers, the world, etc. In general, so far 10/10!

For anyone looking for Witcher Fanfic. Look somewhere else. This is multiverse novel where MC jumps around the world doing things. Not much of witcher though and even though MC originally is born and trained before the plot of the books, due to magical time traveling BS, he ends up skipping through timeline that goes through all the books and most of the games storyline. MC should return to witcher world eventually, but it really won't be Witcher Fanfic but rather Overpowered MC being overpowered in the witcher world.

When I first started reading this fanfic I was really enjoying it, but things kinda got messy with the Harry Potter ark, but I pulled through it, and then we have the MC back in the Witcher world, which was fine, but the we have him prepare for war and he starts bringing in characters from other worlds... the point I kinda got dissapointed was Fleur. I think that went in a direction that made me almost drop it. I then continued, but the the MC ends up in a relashiongip with Ciri and the other characters I really liked kinda got ignored. The around 700+ came and I just dropped it... I started skipping the chapters to see where it goes and if any of the other characters end up with the MC. Queelagg does I suppose, but the way it happens just made me mad. The author put a lot of effort into writing the Dark Souls characters, but he just destroyed them in my opinion. All in all, I kinda wish the Dark Souls ark was a completely separate fanfic and the author focused more on the Witcher world. I guess that is about all I had to say. This is really the longest review I wrote on WebNovel hahaha... 4 stars for writing quality - overall I think the writing was great, some mistakes here and there, but nothing major. 2 stars for story development - honestly... the story went downhill pretty quick in my humble opinion, and some of the decisions the author made seemed very forced and some didn't really make sense 3 stars for characters - i found myself enjoying the Dark Soups ark the most, mostly because of the characters, and the Witcher parts weren't really that fleshed out I think, especially Ciri (honestly, I kinda hated her in this fanfic) and the fact that the romance between them came kinda out of nowhere. The reason I gave it 3 stars instead of 2 is because of the Dark Souls ark

I actually was waiting for chapter to pile up and only saw now that it ended but then I saw some review about ntr and wanted to know what's the deal? like is ciri or someone else forced into something? who he end with ? and is it really ntr or is it girl of his harem having *** between them? depending on the answer I'll know whether to continue or not this

the story started really great the first arc was awesome but short, but everything go downhill after the first arc. the 2nd world is boring as ****, the 3rd world the MC spent too much time in there that i think the Author should put in the summary that the mc is guy who had been reincaranated in darksouls world with witcher power and elder power. the 4th world the HP world the MC did a full retard that i cant continue reading this story anymore.

READ THIS FOR PROPER REVIEW One of the best witcher fanfictions out there... or at least for the first dozen chapters. The first problem is the author leaves the witcher world so quickly. You read thia correctly. Out of the hundreds of chapters only around 30 are in the witcher setting, and yes he does return in the future but when you are so overpowered where is the fun? It was a snoozefest watching him steamroll the witcher setting. Secondly I would point out the cringe in this novel with phrases like "Ciri licked her lips". NOBODY does this in RL it is weird and broke my immersion like another reader pointed out. There are many moments MC will be cringe but if you can endure it then check the next paragraph before deciding if you like the MC. He is a cuck. I know the age old "MC is a beta male! Bad novel" stereotype but I mean what I say. I can endure this but the what I call 'Second main character Ciri' taking an interest in MC harem candidates is lame and if I wanted that action I would read yuri tags... Ciri is an insufferable bit,ch in this novel I say this even though she is my second favourite character after roach. Her haughty personality has made me want to drop this novel many times. Ciri is the real main character of this novel as the MC is a living stepping stone for her. Yet again another fanfic that the MC is a slave to the main characters. Finally despite all my complaints this is a good fanfic afterall what fanfic is perfect? I just pray to God and the devil (whichever one is listening) THAT CIRI STAYS IN THE WITCHER SETTING AND MC GOES LONE WOLF IN THE MULTIVERSE. 🤲 amen. If that happens when I come back to this novel then I won't have to stop reading and I know it's possible cause he has already been lone wolf for how long?

The first arc was really good. The absilver ark was terrible. The dark souls arc was good for a bit until the harmen part where it got all mushy with crimgy lines of non stop dialog about feelings, and the constant need to discuss everything about him and his plans with every decent looking female and the arc arnt on for wayyyyy to long. Stopped reading during this arc cause it became more of a chore to eat then enjoyment.

It was a decent story until around chapter 700. After this you get to enjoy the rollercoasting of having the main character doing less damage against enemies much weaker then what he had fought before while your favorite side characters change completely before your eyes into weaker, less distinct versions of themselves. Let's not even begin with the main characters flip flop attitude on love potions being rape. Apparently rape is fine as long as it's between girls you think are hot and you can get involved. My recommendation is if you try it and like it just stop after 700 or you can watch as a lovely story burns to the ground around you in the most irritating way possible.

If you are looking for Witcher content then this is the wrong novel for you, I've read up to chapter 230 and he hasn't been in the Witcher world for almost 200 chapters, 200 chapters, yes, you read that **** correctly. This novel, for the most part, is false advertisement. Read it if you want to, it's got good writing and character development while also having a solid story but let me say this again. THIS IS NOT A WITCHER NOVEL OR FANFIC, HE SPENDS MORE TIME IN OTHER FANTASY WORLDS THAN HE DOES THE WITCHER ONE.

A very nicely written story, with comparably good grammar to what is mostly found on webnovel. the character desgin is well done, as is the worlds desgin. I am enjoying it very much and hope the author will continue to write and improve his story.
