CHAPTER 3: FOR ME?

During lunch break jack came to where I was sitting "hey babe..."i cut him off "say that B word again and I will do the honor of ripping out your tongue " I said in a terrifying way "calm down jenny..." sitting down "...you look cute when you make that spooky face.you know, for a moment I thought you were really serious "he laughed nervously.he stopped when he noticed my face"i am really serious. Say that B word one more time and you'll figure out how scary I can be " i said in a very serious voice "what with the face? Are you alright?"."all right,am anything but alright ,you being here is ...is freaking me out.i don't know why you're here,I mean it not like I'm not happy to see you but... but " "everything happened suddenly,you didn't expect me to come all the way from L.A to this school . I understand jenny .I'm very sure you want to know why I'm here "i nodded .then he continued "i came here ,because of you jenny." "hahaha, very funny" I looked at jacks face and It was expressionless,damn this guy ain't kidding "you're joking right?" I asked laughing nervously "No,I'm serious.do you think I'll come all the way from L.A to this freaky state.Nah,Nah,Nah.you know jenny, I thought you'll be over the moon to see me but you don't seem excited at all ""of course, I'm excited"he looked me in the eyes"i mean...uhm..." "who are you?" "jack!" I shouted "hey,stop shouting " "why wouldn't I shout, you, asking who i am , seriously jack,I'm your bestfriend for God sake.dont be ridiculous " "i'm not being ridiculous,you are, I came here for my bestfriend and I didn't expect her to reprimand me."i laughed " for me?, Jack that serious face doesn't suit you " "yeah, yeah I know that already,forget it, let go"he said standing up and gripping my hand ."Too?" he looked at me "to the cafeteria,where else ?" "ohhhh!".we went to the cafeteria, jack bought my favorite burger.it was so delicious.you know i didn't expect him to remember my favourite burger. soon it was closing time,we had to go to our separate houses. I really miss my best friend.when I got home I decided to write my diary,something was off I couldn't find Kelvi anywhere.

DEAR DIARY:Today was actually fun,you wouldn't believe what happened today,boom! ,my bestfriend jack came out of nowhere, tadaaaa!. I was so surprised,you know the most interesting part was that he said he came all the way from L.A for me.hahahha! Can you believe it.you know I thought he was joking, turns out that he was freaking damn serious.i'm still wondering why he would come here for me.to be honest,I enjoy jacks company but today something was missing ,he has changed a lot ,he's being more nice to me, I can't feel the same aura of vibe and energy I use to feel before ,yeah yeah I must be overthinking this,I mean I've been away from him for a week now, that must be it . It feels good to have him back in my life.i can't tell you how much I have missed him.diary, I've to go now because I can't find Kelvi anywhere,do you know where he is.ohhhh, I'm sorry (°^°) I forgot that you can't talk.hehehe..bye .I gotta go.

PAY BACK TIME:TWO DAYS LATER.

DEAR DIARY:it has been two days since I last saw Kelvi,Lilo said he went for some personal business matter.ever since Kelvi left ,the house seemed empty,I felt lonely.As for jack,we are getting closer day by day,I love spending time with him,I feel like we're connected,this is not an illusion or assumption.i can feel the aura whenever we're together.i love the feeling of having a bestfriend that understand you.hmmph...beside everything else,I really miss Kelvi. yeah,yeah,I know I'm suppose to miss him ,but I can't help but miss him.uggghhh...it's so frustrating.There was a knock at the door "come in "the door opened.then ,Lilo entered "jenny it's dinner time already, come downstairs quickly " she turned to leave then she turned back and said "kelvi is back " "really, that's the best news I've received so far, thanks Lilo,I'll come down now " she smiled and left the room.i was super excited."jenny, firstly you have to appologize to him.go girl you can do this "i whispered to myself. I went outside the room and I saw Kelvi coming upstairs,I ran to him,I had it in my mind to hug him,but change of plans.i chuckled in my head."hey ,Kelvi how are you "to my surprise he didn't answer me ,he behaved like I was invincible.he entered his room and slammed the door to my face "hey what was that for?" I shouted but he didn't reply.i was getting pissed off ,I went down,still pissed off. I sat down, talking to myself "what's with him?here I was thinking of how I'll appologize to him,ugh... " "calm down jenny , that's how Kelvi is, he's so hot headed.give him some time"lilo said "oh!, sorry Lilo, I didn't know I said that out loud"she put her hand on my shoulder and smiled,I smiled back.then ,we heard kelvi door open.lilo gripped my shoulder a little and gave me an encouraging smile.she left the dinning table after setting the food on the table.kelvi sat down opposite me. I wanted to start a conversation,but I didn't think it was the right thing to do at that moment.i spoke anyway "kelvi, I'm sorry " "for what?" he didn't flinch "for talking out of order and also slamming the door at your face,I mean...you slamming the door at my face ,it made me feel bad" " now you understand how it feel when someone slams the door on your face " "woah ,woah , is it pay back time already" "mmm....hmmm" "you know Kelvi I didn't know that you think of me as your friend , I mean,my definition of friendship is different from yours, that's why I thought setting boundaries will solve this matter but I was wrong " "you know I shouldn't have ignored you at school, there's certain things I should have told you.and I'm sorry for not trusting you "he said smiling "hmmph... apology accepted,can we eat now? I'm famished"we both chuckled,dinner went smoothly thanks to Lilos meal.Now I get it,Kelvi isn't has bad as he looks, he might be annoying sometimes but I can handle that.i thought inwardly. he gave me a warm smile , seeing him smile takes my breath away. "Hey Jenny,stop it "i murmured."did you say something?""uhm...no ". Phew! That was close,you should be extra careful next time.i giggled and Kelvi gave me a questioning look,I smiled.
