Lazy writing with countless mistakes. Obvious that English isn't the author's first language. Information/exposition dumped unskilfully from the onset of the story instead of lightly sprinkled throughout the beginning of the story ruining any chance of blooming a sense of intrigue. Horrible naming sense such as the beast continent named Bestia etc. Extremely clichéd, archetypal characters, where the pretty girl takes interest on the MC for nothing worth mentioning. Guns is a magical world as marginal originality in an otherwise completely original story base. Also the character descriptions are very thorough but bland. MC doesn't start as overpowered but it's painfully obvious that he will be soon so say goodbye to any tension that could have been bred.
I truly like the idea and the concept of this... the beginning was very good... there were some grammatical errors but we can turn a blind eye to them... as the story progressed I feel the relation of mc a bit forced... his sudden change of personality makes me feel like he is a hypocrite and its confusing, it happened many times, the author mentioned it many times that what his aim was by (A/N) and it irked me many times because people should be able to get what you are trying to convey by reading story only... as we progressed I started feeling I was reading a low tier cultivation novel except it is a magical world... And trust me I have read my fair share of cultivation novels and I could predict what is going to happen, so my thrill ends as soon as the author tries to bring the cultivation type of deal...
this story started strong and intresting but slowly its degraded to what feels like random quest's in a RPG. The most annoying part is the writer wants to give us chapters that are nothing but status updates even for characters you haven't seen for a while or will see for dozens of chapters to where your just asking why you would waste coins or FP on it. the most fun you will have reading is before chapter 500/600 so after that it's up in the air if it's still worth it especially since the annoying status updates seem to increase by then
I really like the novel, but it is facing two big problems. First is these status chapters, it's ok to show every 15 20 chapters that have big changes, but every 2, 4 chapters? It doesn't make sense, besides making us readers lose the excitement of waiting for a new chapter, it doesn't make any sense to have these character status chapters frequently if they aren't even evolving fast. The second problem is the size of Alex's statuses, for example, his status is literally half of the entire chapter, it seems that I'm reading a chapter cut in half because of this, I think that decreasing the characters' statuses or just showing what has changed or what's important at that point is better than making half an entire chapter a character's status
I see why people wrote bad reviews, but while reading I could feel the story just wanting to explode out to me. The excitement your story invokes is rare for me. Few things can make me feel this way and I think you have a future for this in my opinion. The early hint of romance was a refresher, and the way the mc doesn't simp over every girl is nice. Though I wouldn't be able to not flirt back towards a beautiful elf lol.
good light read starts out really strong. very entertaining and funny. power system makes sense and world background is big enough. that you can tell it will be long story line. sadly around 300 it starts to drag. atleast for me. harem members are shallow though author makes an efforts to make them into different women(partially succeeding). there are two many for me care about any of them. the two harem members that are really unique imo. Luna and Sera, are delegated to background roles, as new women are getting their turn in the lime light. it seems the author has them on rotation. which for a harem is not bad it just you can't really support or get to know any of them because there are just simply to many. 5 where I stopped with the promise of two more possibly 4 if what I predict happens with his weapons. other than that maybe because I binge read to 350 and I'm getting reader fatigue. the fight scenes while good to start, simply start to mesh for me. they are really unique at first you can tell the author put alot of effort at the beginning, but like with everything else it all becomes really bland overtime. one thing that remains though is the comedy. author has a great sense of humor. and I find myself chuckling Audibly every couple chapters or so. over all a good light read. though Grammer is a prob at time not a deal breaker, a good read to start but not really a masterpiece. could improve over the next 600 chaps there is still hope. I recommend giving it a shot. my gripes aren't really deal breakers, and I'll write another review after the next 300. though I'll have to take a break before I continue lol 😆
The story, characters, and world building are good. But if you are a stickler for grammar look for another story. There are also at least 4 repeat chapters by the 400th chapter, be sure to read the Authors Note to ensure you skip them if you want...keep in mind those are his chapter numbers and not WN chapter numbers.
Positives: The world is very interesting, the diversities of races and powers are good, the story and mysteries are ok, cliche but ok. Protagonist is not a nice guy but he's not a cold and heartless demon either, I like that. He doesn't go around solving other people's problems, but he also doesn't ignore when he can help and if it doesn't get in the way of his goals. Negative: For me, the idea of the harem in this work is not a good one. I think it's forced. The best girl becomes a sister. Can this change? I don't know. Usually the young men who are enemies of the MC are idiots, lecherous, arrogant and brainless. One thing I really hate about this novel is how many characters seem like gods of psychology, where from a simple reaction they are able to tell people's deepest thoughts. It's insane and it happens with a certain frequency.
Nickaido's here with another review after 400 ish chapters. This story is not about the MC being the smartest, so please don't come to act disappointed, he has his flaws, and he will learn from them as he grows. Not all characters are likable; it's like in real life. Because English is not my first language, what I currently know I learned it myself; the earliest chapters are full of errors, I believe I have improved in the latest chapters, and I have started using Grammarly premium to sharpen my writing further. Your support, comments, and suggestions will help significantly improve to provide a better story, this will be a long journey, so it will be worth the ride. Please kindly support me.
