Cosmic Janitor

A man on a hospital bed was offered a job by a god. Said god introduced himself as a "god of amusement and entertainment." The man unhesitatingly accepted; what was the reason? He was bored. Having lived his life to the literal fullest—parachuting, skydiving, racing, boxing, and other adrenaline-pumping activities—left him exactly in his condition—a crippled, sick, BUT bored man in his middle thirties.  Join him in his wild adventures as he battles devils, zombies, and all sorts of crazy stuff you can dream up while lying in bed. Updates: It depends on my workload. Also, on my cat's mood. Suggestions: I've got some "worlds" planned, but feel free to suggest a game or anime world that needs some serious "cleaning." Disclaimer: The characters mentioned are not mine, except the OCs. Especially the Book Cover.

Tom the Maine Coon

{At The Watchtower}

Morning

Tom's day begins with the gentle glow of dawn filtering through the blinds. He stretches luxuriously on the bed, his long, fluffy tail twitching as he enjoys the soft warmth. After a thorough grooming session, Tom pads over to his human, Katsuo, and gives a gentle headbutt to wake him. Katsuo stirs and smiles, scratching Tom behind the ears, a ritual they both cherish.

Breakfast Time

Katsuo heads to the kitchen, and Tom follows, his steps light but eager. He watches intently as Katsuo prepares his breakfast, his green eyes fixed on the bowl. As the food is placed on the floor, Tom dives in with enthusiasm, savoring each bite. Once his hunger is sated, he leaps onto the windowsill to watch the world outside. Birds flitting about and the occasional squirrel provide endless entertainment.

Mid-Morning Exploration

With his breakfast settled, Tom embarks on his daily patrol around the apartment. He checks every nook and cranny, making sure everything is in its rightful place. His explorations often lead him to new hiding spots, perfect for an impromptu nap later. After ensuring his domain is secure, Tom finds a sunny spot on the living room floor and stretches out to bask in the warmth.

Afternoon

As Katsuo works or trains, Tom keeps a watchful eye on him. Occasionally, he'll jump onto the desk or table to inspect what Katsuo is doing, earning him a few affectionate pats. Sometimes, Tom will nudge Katsuo's hand, reminding him to take a break and share some cuddle time. These moments of affection are a highlight of Tom's day.

Midday Nap

After a busy morning, Tom feels the pull of sleep. He finds a cozy spot, often on the couch or in Katsuo's lap if he's lucky, and curls up for a nap. His purring fills the room, a soothing background to Katsuo's activities. Tom's dreams are filled with adventures, chasing imaginary prey and exploring vast, mysterious worlds.

Evening

When Katsuo returns from a mission or an outing, Tom greets him at the door with a welcoming meow. They share a moment of affection before Katsuo settles down for the evening. Dinner follows, and Tom enjoys another meal, his tail flicking contentedly. The evening is often spent lounging together, Tom purring contentedly as Katsuo unwinds.

Nighttime Routine

As night falls, Tom's playful side emerges. He'll chase a toy or pounce on imaginary creatures, his agility and grace on full display. Katsuo often joins in, and they share a few playful moments before winding down for the night. When it's time for bed, Tom finds his spot next to Katsuo, their bond evident in the way they find comfort in each other's presence.

Tom's day is a blend of exploration, affection, and relaxation. His life is filled with simple pleasures, and his bond with Katsuo is the cornerstone of his happiness. As he drifts off to sleep, Tom knows he is loved and cherished, ready to face another day of adventure and companionship.

(Katsuo POV)

Waking me up was the soft rustle at both my sides. Immediately alarmed, my instincts kicked in and I hopped off the bed with minimal movement, a habit I had developed recently. As I steadied myself and assessed the situation, I saw two lovely figures on the bed. The first was a woman with sapphire blue hair, wearing a nightrobe. The second had emerald green hair and wore only a simple white shirt. Both exuded a seductive vibe and were still sleeping soundly.

I sighed in relief, then allowed myself a moment of celebration, pumping my fist in the air. Can you blame me? I had just bagged two beautiful women, a much-needed distraction after months of grueling missions.

Walking over to the mirror, I took a deep breath and ran a hand through my head. The events of the previous night played back in my mind, a mix of laughter, conversation, and shared moments that led to this unexpected yet welcome outcome.

Glancing back at the bed, I couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment.

Then the blue-haired woman, namely Lisa in her nightrobe, woke up, looking a bit groggy. She yawned, then looked at me and at the still-sleeping green-haired woman, Elara.

"Morning," Lisa said, her voice still thick with sleep.

"Morning," I replied, feeling a bit awkward but trying to play it cool.

Lisa stretched, her nightrobe slipping off one shoulder. "Last night was...something," she said with a half-smile.

"Yeah, it was," I agreed, scratching the back of my head.

Elara stirred slightly, but didn't wake up. Lisa glanced at her, then back at me. "You know, you should really take a break more often," she said, her tone a mix of teasing and genuine concern.

I nodded. "Yeah, I know. Just hard to switch off sometimes."

Lisa stood up, adjusting her robe. "Well, enjoy it while you can. We don't get many nights like this."

She walked over and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek. "I'm gonna grab a shower. Care to join?" she asked with a playful wink.

I chuckled. "Tempting, but I think I'll let you go first."

"Suit yourself," she said, heading to the bathroom.

As the door closed, I took a deep breath and looked around the room.

Seconds later, Elara woke up. She yawned, and I instinctively imitated. "I guess Lisa wasn't really exaggerating, huh," she said, giving me a seductive smile.

"Well, I've got a reputation to uphold, you know," I replied, grinning back.

Elara stretched lazily, the hem of her shirt riding up slightly. "Seems like you more than lived up to it," she said, her eyes twinkling with amusement.

I laughed softly, feeling a bit more at ease. "Glad to hear it."

She sat up, brushing her hair back with one hand. "So, what's next for the great Katsuo? Another mission? More training?"

"Probably both," I admitted. "But for now, I think I'll just enjoy the moment."

Elara nodded, her expression softening. "Good. You deserve it."

Just then, the sound of the shower running stopped, and Lisa emerged from the bathroom, wrapped in a towel. "Alright, your turn," she said to Elara with a grin.

Elara hopped off the bed and made her way to the bathroom, pausing to give me a quick peck on the cheek. "Don't go anywhere," she teased before closing the door behind her.

Lisa walked over and sat beside me on the bed. "You know, you should really take more time for yourself," she said, echoing her earlier sentiment.

I nodded, feeling the weight of her words. "I will. Thanks, Lisa."

She smiled, patting my knee. "Good. Now, how about we get some breakfast? I'm starving."

"Sounds like a plan," I said, feeling a warmth spread through me that had nothing to do with the previous night's events. It was the warmth of camaraderie, of knowing that, no matter what, I had people who cared about me.

After finishing eating, I decided to head back to my room. Saying goodbye to them, I exited Lisa's condo. Walking back, I felt great, not just because of last night's "activities" but also the warmth of knowing that people cared about me, just like my old pal Ron when I was still Victor.

As I opened the door to my room, I was greeted by an angry Maine Coon, Tom. He meowed, demanding an explanation as if asking, "Where have you been?"

"Well, Tom, your buddy Katsuo here just bagged not one, but two," I held up two fingers, "beautiful women!"

He sniffed me, then gave an approving look, as if to say, "Well done, human."

I laughed and picked him up, giving him a good scratch behind the ears. "Missed you too, buddy."

Tom purred in response, his earlier annoyance forgotten. I put him down and flopped onto the couch, feeling the fatigue of the past few days finally catching up with me. Tom immediately jumped up beside me, settling in for a nap.

"Alright, Tom," I said, stroking his fur. "Let's rest up. We've got a lot of training to do soon."

As I lay there with Tom purring contentedly beside me, I felt a renewed sense of purpose. The road ahead was daunting, but with friends, new allies, and my ever-supportive manager, Lisa, I knew I could face whatever challenges came my way.

Apparently "Coon" is a racist word. The more you know huh.
