Money makes the world go round

I had long ago decided what I was going to buy with my coins once I obtained them, so I quickly purchased the training room for 50,000c, The Moonlight Computer for 50,000c and an arena for 25,000c which left me with 70,000c leftover that I planned to buy one more pet with for my disciples who had all been doing great in their training and then use the other coins to aid my celebrity career.

I placed the Moonlight computer within my room first and I honestly thought it was quite possibly better than even Batman's computer. It automatically kept track of any and every known high profile criminal that existed in the DC universe and notified me if any of them entered Moonlight City. It wouldn't pick up a guy selling a dime of pot, a petty thief, or anything small time, but that was okay, because I honestly didn't care about them and Id rather leave them to my disciples and the other heroes in Moonlight City.

It had a number of other features as well including a satellite that spawned into existence in space that collected all kinds of data, the computer itself could translate messages both verbal and in text, it could hack any device connected to it and could not be hacked itself, it could build things I had schematics for with nano technology if I had to resources to do so, and a number of other amazing things.

In my opinion the best feature was the part where it connected to every room aside from private rooms in the house. It allowed me to view into the tower and check up on the people in it and if I wanted I was also able to speak to them and give them small items such as food, water, and blankets. I could also take better control of the other rooms. For example, I could now delete planets in the beaming rooms saved files which was always my biggest problem with the beaming tech.

Ever since the last house/domain upgrade I could just breathe rooms into existence if I had the coins to do so instead of walking around and placing them. I could still place them manually, but this feature was nice to use when it didn't need to be precisely placed.

After having placed the Moonlight Computer in my bedroom, I moved on to the training room and created a new space within the castle for it as I sat on my throne eating a burrito. The training room wasn't as versatile as the holodeck, but it had features you really couldn't beat. The training room was equipped with high tech weight machines that seemed more fantasy than science fiction.

The weights could be changed to be any weight I wanted. I could make a dumbbell weigh the same as a star or even heavier if I wanted. If I threw the dumbbell that weighed the same as a star across the training room, it would cause no damage to anyone or anything inside the room or out of it. It wasn't as good as a gravity chamber, but it was basically the same concept.

The room also featured heat, cold, magic, and poison resistance devices. If one was to step into one of the devices they could change how the degree/severity it was inside so they could slowly adapt and become more resistant over time.

The only downside to using this training room was the fact that time passed by ten times as fast outside than inside. So I could spend a day inside training and it would equal ten outside. It would have been nicer if it was the opposite. Luckily a person didn't age within the training room so there was that.

It was now time to place the arena and I had actually gotten this to put outside my castle. I had cleared a very large piece of land in downtown Moonlight City for it and so I headed near the Doomsday Park Memorial and erected the arena. Unlike my castle and the tower it could not be moved to another dimension and was something everyone would be able to see weather I liked it or not.

The arena had some nice features, but it still wasn't perfect. The arena could take any damage and not be destroyed, it also protected the planet it was placed on from being destroyed, and although it had bleachers for spectators to watch the fights, it did not offer protection to the people watching.

To solve this I got in touch with Sodam who was still exploring in space with Telos and Lola and asked him to hook me up with some of the Daxamite technology that protected their training room. Sodam agreed, but on a condition. Apparently all three of them wanted to participate in the tournament and even had a couple of friends I had never met that were also interested.

I saw no reason to decline, if anything it would make the tournament a bit more fun and I will get some technology that I could tinker with for the future arena's audience protection. I'm winning on both fronts and losing nothing.

The only other feature the arena had was that I could create artificial environments inside the arenas battlefield. This was also nice, but I decided to test it some other time, because I still had one more stop to make today.

After having placed the Arena, I went back to the side of downtown that my castle was on and watched a bit as construction workers were almost done building the small two story building I had commissioned. Although I still couldn't afford all the land downtown, I could afford to buy a small plot of land and start my own shop.

I planned to sell things in the shop and start making a profit as soon as I could. The city allowed me to open the shop under my hero alias and so everyone knew that the King's shop would be open soon and could not wait to see what it would sell. They would not be disappointed either, because I had a number of fun things to sell.

Once Osul had gotten word of my shop, he all but begged me to let him manage it. I didn't have time to manage it myself and so I just agreed to his request. Having the shop being ran by someone with Phaelosian physique, I doubted someone would be bold enough to try and rob the store. Osul was a perfect fit for the job.

As I was watching my shop be built, I got a call from Shane the director of Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. He called to let me know that the film would be shown at the Cannes film festival in a week which was located in France, but would ultimately premiere at TLC's Chinese theatre in October.

The film had been screened out of Cannes film festival because it did not fit the festivals criteria, but someone high up must have viewed it and liked it enough to give it a viewing spot. This was a polite way to say we didn't have a chance to win, but we were allowed to participate and have our own room to show off our film. It didn't matter though, we could always win awards later after it's premiere. I was long used to this sort of thing in my last life.

Shane had called to let me know that I was invited to the early showings and I was encouraged to attend with the rest of the cast. He had booked us a private Jet and would have us all flown over free of charge.
