/The Batcave/

Crime in New York and by extension Hell's Kitchen is at an all time low.

While some were happy with the rise in standard of living, Bruce knew it was only time until someone gets bold and desperate enough to tread back to their old ways, whether the Bat was there or not.

The Batcave- it looked more developed, somehow more open- with more space.

With regular practice, the Darkness power Bruce had discovered in himself became more versatile in use.

Now- he could go in 5-6 inches into anything solid- using any part of body. And it could be used permanently on other things without harmful setbacks.

Hence- the Bat computer was now etched 6 inches deep in its surroundings, other miscellaneous things following its placement.

The space was however utilized for a table- a surgical table. On which lies someone familiar to the Bat.

Han Xiao- one of the Hand upper echelons, and the primary antagonist against Batman in Monaco operation.

He lies there dead- courtesy of falling approximately 12000 feet in the sea- if that did not kill him, then drowning did- as he did not had stamina left after the smoke teleportation thing he did when fighting against the Dark Knight.

Han Xiao's clothes and armor was taken away- he was there naked, where Bruce was taking his blood in vials.

His main objective- an amalgam between his dark liquification and the dark smoke sublimation observed in the Hand ninjas.

In the initial observations, they were not similar- but on a more basic observation, it was but a change in the state of matter.

Bruce's cells on test had been emitting low amplitude rays with the wavelength of 10-14 and 10-5 (ten to the power minus fourteen and minus five). Both of the wavelengths contributed to his willingly liquification in the dark.

His conclusion for the reason he was able to tap into this power is cosmic rays- as he verified by bombarding cosmic rays onto some of his live stems cells- which repelled the oncoming particles- proving that each of his cell now had some value of cosmic radiation in place.

This was an advantageous power- the dark liquification allowed batman to reduced his body surface area- six inches into every direction for now. It also allowed to place objects into solid objects with the power, which allowed him to hide important objects and carry on more gadgets on his body.

But it held its own disadvantages- disadvantages that could not be ignored.

10-14 and 10-5 wavelength rays corresponded to gamma rays and infrared rays respectively. With the activations and use of this power, the rays raised themselves in amplitude, meaning if nothing is done to control their output he would be a gamma ray emitter- a cancer man and a shiny human courtesy of the infrared rays. Also the liquid part did not allow him to change volume.

Hence he put out the search of Han Xiao's body- to confirm his foe had been defeated and to control these powers of his- the only lead was the smoke sublimation technique of Hand ninjas.

The smoke technique had its own pros and cons- it allowed the user to go through small places- the one only gas could, increasing agility and versality in a fight. However it was difficult to control and a gust of wind could blow off the user, disintegrating him as the gas diffuses into the air.

Bruce wanted to make mist-vapor amalgam between the two- which negated out each other weakness. The mist would allow him to change the volume along with the initial change in shape, while making it easier to control due to adhesion cohesion between same type of vapor particles, increasing its versality and uses in a fight and outside it.

'The Blood- it has demonic traces in it.'

Bruce was experimenting in small amounts of Han's blood along with his own under the Kryptonite he had with him.

'The Kryptonite needs to be tweaked a little bit.' Bruce placed the Kryptonite under the lends to chip away a small crystal of it while securing the rest to its original position of safe keeping.

The Bat computer screen lightened up the entrance of the cave-

Bruce placed the Kryptonite under the laser, with the timer 12 days placed on it.

Bruce changed his work stations to work on his Expo project-

------------------Mid-chapter----------------------------------

.[I want you all to remember our Batman has 3 suits for now-

one normal patrol one, nothing fancy, just bulletproof cape and all that, last appearance- S.H.I.E.L.D. infiltration.

second one is the stealth one, retractable cape, high tech paralyzing ray, and hard, metal exoskeleton- last appearance in Monaco.

And the third one is the bulky, 300 pound one he used in the battle against Darkseid, the one he came with in the marvel world, last apearance- vs Iron Monger.

This is important as I am going to expand this collection somewhat.]

[Also, suggest me something for the Stark Expo- something that could make Wayne logistics big. Future chapter arcs- Thor(3chaps) Lucifer wedding (1/2 chap) (project-Heracles(2-3 chap until further explored)]

/Stark Expo/ [please remember names of oc characters]

Bruce was scrolling the presentation his employees had made for him to present.

After parting with Neit, he needed someone to take the helm of running Wayne Enterprises, someone loyal and competent enough to run it without his presence...

Someone like Fox.

But men like Fox were difficult- even impossible to find.

So he got himself three competent people that completed and complimented each other.

<Steve Jobs> CEO of Wayne tech, graduated with a bachelor of science degree in physics, in addition to a bachelor of arts in economics from the Wharton School, now presides over the strategy and management of Bruce Wayne's multi-billion dollar company, ensuring it remains profitable while remaining ethical. Very intelligent and with a knack for business that's second to none, Steve plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial security of the business, which allowed Bruce to concentrate on his more nocturnally inclined activities as Batman. Steve controls the technological side of all of the Wayne group while working as a dutiful CEO of his own share of the Wayne company, i.e. Wayne Tech. [no relation to actual Steve Jobs, this way you will remember him as his name is familiar to all]

<Ashara Dayne> CEO of Wayne financial holdings and Investments. New York University (BA) Harvard University (MBA), She was at the top of her career when Bruce gave her a deal she could not refuse, one that promoted her from a division manager in her previous hedge fund-investment company to the CEO of a billion dollar company. She was now managing most of the financial side of the whole Wayne enterprises along with her CEO work at her own Wayne subsidiary. [Again so you could remember her later unlike Neit which some of you forgot later]

<Kate> or <S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent 13>, Sharon Carter, great niece of the first S.H.I.E.L.D. Director Peggy Carter, was an espionage expert field agent, now serving as the undersecretary of Bruce by recommendation of the interviewers after going through a series of screening tests. Her academic qualifications were quite boastful, each one backed up with substantial proof of her going through the universities she mentioned in her resume, even batchmates alibi covered. Still fake though. Bruce let her closer to himself as she was competent enough for his needs of a secretary while controlling what goes through her to his enemies, S.H.I.E.L.D. and Hydra alike.

The mentioned people were accompanying Bruce to the Expo, Steve driving the Rolls Royce with Ashara beside him, Kate in the back with Bruce who was going through his script once again.

"Nervous boss?"

"Somewhat. This is supposed to be my first live presentation- prior to this I have not been on stage with more than fifty people in audience." Bruce replied.

"You will do just fine, you have the natural charisma." Steve complimented.

"Yeah boss- Boss it happened again." Ashara frowned.

Bruce looked up to her, away from his screen where he could see Ashara looking at her phone screen with a mix of anger and frustration.

Well the matter demanded her attention and anger.

IG had achieved 400 million active users on the platform, which was two-third of its rival social media platform Facebook with the net worth of 23 billion USD.

Wayne investments was earning big bucks with their profits raining and customers happier then ever, contributing of 2.3% of all of the profit in investment banking in USA in the first financial quarter despite being a rookie company.

Their other projects were also competing with the top in their respective fields, but despite this, Wayne Enterprises was not having the expected growth financially.

By Bruce's initial estimates, by this time of the year, Wayne Enterprises should have the evaluation of $12 billion without an outsider's interference- that was the minimum it should have achieved.

"The company is generating revenue and has future growth potential, and still the company stocks are plummeting and trading, sometimes as low as its floor, I support my claim that there's a high chance that the company stocks are being shorted."

"I have received your complaints Ashara, we would plan to tackle that after this." He raised his hand with ther tablet. Steve stopped the car signaling their arrival at the Expo.

"Unless you secretly inherited a fortune from your mother- I say we go back in."

The man with red sunglasses did not reply letting himself pulled back into the office.

"What? Its just an exam- we already secured a scholarship to Columbia- but you really think the Church could get the rest of $70k- You could get some PwD cut or something- do they have it here?" The chubby man asks the female receptionist who sighs at the blunt shamefulness.

"No sir, we only do merit scholarships."

"Boomer-" He turns back to his friend. "Matt, even a blind man could see this is a great opportunity- which is strange as you are blind and you are not seeing this as a great opportunity."

"Okay- okay- I am in- do they even allow me to enter- you know due to the-"

"Yes, Mr...?

"Please call me Matt."

"Well Matt, we don't discriminate people based on disability- unless it hampers your profession long term. What scholarship field do you want to apply in?"

"Law- we got admission in Columbia uni- we just want someone to shoulder our payload." Foggy announces, trying to overshadow his really, "really good-looking guy with wounded handsome duck thing", his own words.

"Well that's- that's alright. Blind people cannot enter surgeon and pilot scholarship field among others- I could not find Law here. Please go through this list- here." The receptionist passes one to Foggy and another, with Braille script to Matt. "You need at least 40 credits on this paper, after that each credit results in 10% of your fee being shouldered by the Wayne charitable foundation."

Matt starts reading the paper, stopped by Foggy's query. "Ma'am there seems to be a mistake- here this says that the 21st credit is offered on running 24 miles in 6 hours- we are applying for Law not P.T. or army."

"That are the requirements Mr. Nelson, we do not want our potential Lawyer to get fat and die of heart attack." The receptionist smiles replying.

Foggy continues reading the paper, his brows frowning with each credit requirement.

"How much do you expect?" He asks Matt.

"I guess 40- maybe 42 with some stretch." Matt

"This guy be trippin- five of them are purely physical- do they even want to give us their money?" He turns to the receptionist. "Do people even get something out of this?"

The receptionist's vein bulge was apparent even to the blind Matt, but she just pointed to her left.

It said <Mike Ross>, <12/07/2009> <50/50 credit score, studying at Harvard Law, already scouted by Pearson Hardman LLP in his first year of Law school.>

"Damn." Foggy turns to Matt. "Oh I forgot you could not read- it says Mike ross- got 50 score last-"
