In custody

As Myalis looked at the person with the mask, the person's eyes glowed green, then he or she disappeared and Myalis scoffed.

The knight tapped her on her shoulder and she glanced at him and then smiled.

"We arrived a bit late so I am going to ask, what made you think that the beast was summoned here?" He asked.

"A beast like that would always draw attention to itself, it just appeared within the city out of nowhere, it was seen nowhere else, someone must have summoned it here," She responded and the knight sighed as a few police officers arrived and Myalis glanced at them as they approached the knight.

"Was the beast slain?" The chief of the police force asked and the knight glanced at Myalis.

"No, we had a bit of a complication, the beast was not slain, we have a few things to discuss," He responded and the woman who was chief glanced at Myalis and Yuna before approaching them.

She leaned in closer to Myalis and the girl pulled back with her eyes narrowing.

"Please do not crowd my space captain, there are certain things I don't like," Myalis said with a gentle smile and the woman chuckled.

"You have quite a shady smile there kid, who are they?" She asked.

"They helped with the beast, this one helped fight it off and the other helped with keeping the people safe," He responded.

"I see, why was the beast not slain?" She asked.

"It's innocent, that's why," Myalis responded and the woman scoffed before looking her way.

The woman didn't know why Myalis thought that the beast was innocent and as the chief of the police force, she knew that it was her job to find out why.

"So you are the reason it was not slain?" The woman asked.

"Chief, let me explain to you, the knights will be helping with the cleaning up but we are currently in the way," The knight responded.

The chief glanced at him before looking around at what was destroyed because of the beast then she took out her cuffs and Myalis glanced at her.

"Since you are the reason the beast got away after causing all of this mess, I will take you into custody until he is finished explaining, who knows, maybe you had something more to do with this, do you have a problem with that?" The chief asked and Myalis scoffed.

"So I am under arrest in the meantime?" Myalis asked.

"Yes, the beast caused quite a bit of damage, come down to the police station quietly, if you are not guilty of having anything more to do with this then you shouldn't be worried," She responded.

Myalis clenched her right fist before sighing and Yuna stood by her side.

"Just so you know chief, I am innocent, I will not be wearing any sort of cuffs, don't even try to get me to, but I will go with you guys willingly," Myalis said and Yuna smiled.

"You are straightforward and brave, meant to be a troublemaker with those traits," The chief replied and Myalis smirked.

"She has that right," Yuna added.

"You kids are being a pain, fine, come along," The chief said as she got into a car and the knight chuckled.

"Miss, you cannot come along," The knight said as he got into the car with Myalis and Yuna looked at her then sighed.

"Yuna, don't worry, I will be fine, go get my father for me," She said, Yuna nodded then they took off.

Yuna looked at the island and then sighed before taking off towards it, heading to get Calris whom she as well as everyone else thought was Myalis's father.

After a few minutes, Yuna arrived at the island and she saw that Lilian was talking to one of the trainers on the island and she sighed in relief.

"Excuse me," Yuna said and Lilian looked at her.

"You are the young lady that was with Seraphina, what's the matter? Where is Seraphina?" Lilian asked and Yuna exhaled deeply since she was exhausted from running.

Yuna took a deep breath, then looked at Lilian, who smiled at her.

"Your daughter has been sort of arrested," She said and Lilian scoffed.

"Calris!" She shouted.

"What is it?" He asked as he exited the building and approached them.

"Your daughter has been sort of arrested, don't let her go to jail no matter what," Lilian responded and Calris sighed before looking at Yuna.

"I hope this isn't bad, come on kid, let's go, I am sleepy," He said, Lilian hit him on his hand and he flinched then smiled before summoning two of their family beasts.

"Get on, they won't harm you, we need to make sure that Seraphina doesn't go to jail, tell me what happened, from the start while we are on our way," Calris said and Yuna nodded as they flew off.

Lilian sighed, hoping that everything would be just fine since she didn't want Myalis to face any more problems.

After a few minutes, Calris and Yuna arrived at the police headquarters within the city, which was a huge fancy building.

Both of them entered the building and Yuna saw the knight that went with Myalis, she approached him and he looked at her and then smiled.

"Where is she?" Yuna asked.

"She is with the chief in her office, who is this?" He asked.

"Calris, her father," He responded.

"All right, come on, follow me," He said as he walked away and they followed him down a hallway, heading to the chief's office.

Upon arriving at the chief's office, the knight knocked on the door and was given permission to enter and they entered within him.

"Seraphina," Calris said when he saw her sitting on a chair.

"Calris, you came," She said and he smiled, then Yuna rushed to her and hugged her tightly and she flinched, then looked at the girl who smiled at her and Myalis chuckled before the girl raised off of her.

Yuna looked at Myalis before lowering her head and her cheeks flushed when she realized that she acted on instinct when she hugged her and she wondered what was going on with her.

Calris looked at the chief and his eyes narrowed when he recognized her, the chief sighed upon seeing it was Calris since he was someone she already knew.
