Same artifact

They turned around and heard people yelling a few streets away from where they were and rushed towards it, when they saw that a beast had appeared within the streets of the city, Myalis's eyes widened since she had never seen one quite like it before.

The beast was large, had four long, muscular legs with spikes, a small face, one small horn, sharp long claws, and long ears with a sharp-edged tail, and was black and white in color.

'What is a creature like this doing here?' Myalis wondered when she saw it attack a car containing a mother and a child.

Myalis and Yuna rushed over to the car and helped the mother and child who had minor injuries out of the car, they thanked them, then went to seek shelter.

"I'm not sure what's going on here, Seraphina, these creatures..." Yuna mumbled, and Myalis gave her a sidelong glance before smiling.

"Relax, I will help, the beast, it is strong, I want to see something, can you stay out of this?" She asked and Yuna glanced at her.

"You really do love to fight, fine, I will be right here, though, I am not leaving you," She responded and Myalis chuckled as she approached the beast who blew fire, causing a few cars to blow up and the knights appeared in the city and she glanced at them.

"What's a creature like you doing here?" Myalis asked as the knights surrounded the beast and they began attacking it.

The beast roared in pain and the knights pinned it down, but just then, its body began glowing slightly purple and Myalis's eyes narrowed when she noticed the same thing that the basilisk was wearing around its leg on the bests horn.

The creature released an energy blast that sent the knights flying and Myalis was pushed back and nearly crashed into a car, but Yuna grabbed onto her from behind and Myalis glanced at her.

"Thanks," She said.

"It's okay, what was that energy blast?" Yuna asked as she was about to move ahead of Myalis, but came to a halt when she saw flames forming around Myalis's right cuff.

"Something is not right here, this beast was summoned here," She said and Yuna gasped as Myalis rushed forward, the creature was about to hit her with its blade-like tale but she dodged it.

Myalis kept on dodging the creature's attack and Yuna helped people get out of the way as a circle of knights formed around the beast.

"Stop!" Yuna shouted as they were about to kill the beast when they saw Myalis emerge from the smoke around it and the knights gasped.

'There is a civilian, hold up," One of the knights said as he was about to grab Myalis but she moved away from him fast and he looked at her.

"You are harming innocent people," Myalis said and the creature roared at her, its body began growing and its armor got thick.

Myalis smiled, knowing that if they couldn't contain the beast and it ran wild, it might destroy a lot of things, killing a lot of people since it seemed as though it was not in his right mind.

Myalis sensed as though they were being watched and she looked around, her eyes widened when she saw someone standing in the shadows with the same mask that those who attacked her mother were wearing.

The creature hit Myalis with its tail and the sharp edge of it cut the side of her arm, she was about to crash into a building but regained her balance and looked at the beast before gritting her teeth.

"Are you okay?" Yuna asked as the knight who was trying to help Myalis, whose body began glowing blue and chains formed around the four limbs of the beast.

"Yeah, I am fine, it's just a small cut," She responded as she looked around, trying to see if the ones with the masks were still there but the person had already left.

"Kill it or many will die because of its rage, it's strong," The knight said and as they prepared to kill the creature, Myalis looked at it and it looked at her.

'Should I let them kill it? What should I do?' Myalis wondered and as a large sword formed over its head, the beast looked up at it. Yuna was about to look away when Myalis rushed forwards and flames began forming around her right foot.

Myalis kicked the magical artifact that was around its horn with force and the knights looked at her and the artifact shattered, due to which the beast went back to its normal size, Myalis touched the chains that were holding him down and her flames began spreading onto the others, causing them to shatter.

The knight that created the chains looked at her and she stood up before the beast as it got up and looked at her before roaring.

"Make a choice, you attack again and I will kill you," She said as she looked back at the creature with her eyes glowing bright orange and the beast flinched as it stared into her eyes.

"We could have killed that beast a long time back if you didn't keep getting in the way, what do you think you are doing?" The knight that was beside the one that created the chains asked and she glanced at him as Yuna approached them.

"Seraphina," Yuna said and Myalis glanced at her.

"What should we do now?" The same knight that yelled at Myalis asked.

"The creature is just strong, not evil, there is no need to kill it," Myalis said, the knights looked at her and the chain user sighed.

The creature lowered its head before Myalis then rushed off without hurting anyone else and the knight approached her.

"Explain yourself, before I take this to the higher authorities," He said and Yuna grabbed onto Myalis's hand.

"The creature was not here by choice, it's quite simple actually," Myalis responded and the knight's eyes narrowed.

"What do you mean?" He asked and she looked at the knight.

"It's quite simple to figure, the creature was summoned within the city, what do you think about that, huh?" She asked as a smile appeared on her face, Yuna glanced at her and Myalis looked at the shadows within the street and saw one of them who was wearing the same mask, staring at her.
