Anos: "Hello there, my name is Anos Voldigoad. I heard your call for help, and since I really have nothing better to do, what is it that you want help with exactly?"

Anos was curious about what was going on as he looked into the eyes of the rather petite young girl with a pale complexion and large, compound-like eyes that lacked pupils, only a haze of gradient purple, making her eyes appear similar to those of insects.

She has black wavy hair that fades to dark purple, styled at the back of her head into a flat yakai-maki bun, fastened with a white, turquoise and light purple butterfly ornament. She has center-split, ear-length, voluminous curtain bangs that flow down to frame the sides of her face, with two slightly thinner chin-length locks of hair in front of her ears below them. He noted that she was short in height and has a small and weak-looking build.

(Kimetsu No Yaiba)

Shinobu Kocho was a Demon Slayer who hunted demons with her older sister Kanae Kocho to protect humans. Normally the combination of Shinobu and Kanae would allow them to deal with almost any demons they faced. But the mission they received this time was slightly different. They were tasked to investigate a cult that may be used by a demon to attract people and eat them.

The name of the cult was called Paradise Faith Cult. And there wasn't much to see when they investigated the building. Although there were bodies that were eaten, there were no signs of any demons.

Then a single person appeared before the two of them. He was quite tall with pale skin and Rainbow eyes with the kanji for Upper 2 written on his left eye. The moment he appeared before them, Kanae immediately attacked him and forced Shinobu to run away.

Shinobu: "Née-San! That's upper moon 2! You expect me to leave you to fight that monster?!"

Kanae: "Shinobu! You're not strong enough to deal with him yet. At least if you run now you can still survive! Run as fast as you can to be able to protect yourself! The sun will rise soon. I'll try to hold out till then."

That was all Kanae said as she dashed forward to fight the upper moon two.

Shinobu: "Kanae!"

Shinobu so desperately wanted to go help her sister but she knew she would simply be reliable. So she gritted her teeth and ran away hoping to find help. She ran as fast as she could pushing her body to its limits. She eventually missed a tree branch and slipped causing her to fall onto the ground her body too tired to get up.

Tears started falling as she cried. She then begged for someone anyone who could save her sister from the hands of the upper moon two. And as if her prayers were answered, a young man seemingly appeared before her as he spoke.

Anos: "Hello there, my name is Anos Voldigoad. I heard your call for help, and since I really have nothing better to do, what is it that you want help with exactly?"

Shinobu blinked in surprise at the man who appeared before her. She was too tired to notice much about him other than his rather unique clothing style. So with as much strength as she could muster in her exhausted state, she spoke.

Shinobu: "Please! Save my sister!"

Anos: "Ah, the girl fighting the Upper Moon 2?"

Shinobu: "Yes please!"

Anos: "And what can you offer me in exchange for my help?"

Shinobu: "Aggh! I don't have time for this! I'll give you anything! Even if it's my soul!"

Anos looked at Shinobu blankly as he spoke.

Anos: "You dumb humans always say that but do you truly know what it means to sell your soul to someone else?"

Shinobu: "It doesn't matter! We're running out of time! My sister will die at this rate! Please save her!"

Anos hummed as he spoke.

Anos: "Who says I will save your sister?"

Shinobu: "B-but you said?!"

Anos: "I won't be saving her, instead, you will."

Shinobu: "Huh?"

Anos: "I will grant you the strength to save your sister, in exchange you and your sister will become my disciples."

Shinobu wanted to first think about it before she accepted but she knew she was running out of time, so instead, she compromised.

Shinobu: "Please let me save my sister first. I wouldn't mind becoming your disciple if I could get the strength necessary to save her, but I don't want to make this decision on her behalf."

Anos thought about her compromise for a few seconds before he nodded his head.

Anos: "Very well then, I will grant you the necessary strength, and after you save her I will wait for your sister's decision. Know that I do not tolerate liars and backstabbers. Betray me and you both will be returned to that demon."

Shinobu nodded her head frantically as she yelled.

Shinobu: "I swear I won't betray you!"

Anos nodded his head as strings of light touched her forehead and started spreading all across her body. Shinobu suddenly felt a massive amount of energy in her body. She felt much more energized and even stronger than before. She heard Anos speak.

(Alaya vibes intensify~~~)

Anos: "I have given you enough strength to save your sister. Once you've saved her, discuss the contract and then call my name and I will appear before you."

Shinobu got off the ground and inspected the newfound strength surging through her body as she looked Anos in the eyes she nodded her head solemnly and looked back to the direction where her sister was fighting upper moon 2 and she vanished from where she stood intent on saving her sister at all costs.

Anos watched her disappear as he walked away looking for anything to kill time with.

(Meanwhile With Kanae Kocho)

Kanae was fighting the upper moon 2. Her body bent backward avoiding a barrage of ice shards that were shot at her as she dashed toward the upper moon and used one of her breathing techniques.

Kanae: 'Flower Breathing Fourth Form: Crimson Hanagoromo."

Kanae unleashes a single sword slash that curves and twists gracefully.

The upper moon demon looked at the attack with awe at how beautiful it was. But he simply dodged the attack as he spoke up to the young girl in front of him.

Upper Moon 2: "My such a graceful and beautiful technique. You really should let me eat you. It should be an honor for you to be praised by an upper moon demon you know? Especially since I'm upper moon 2 means I'm very popular among the demons."

Kanae said nothing as she was panting from exhaustion. She noticed the sun was already starting to rise in the distance. Now all she had to do was somehow keep this demon here and kill him with the sun.

Sadly, it seemed like he noticed it as well as he spoke.

Upper Moon 2: "The sun is already rising huh? That's dangerous for me. Guess I'll have to kill you now and bring your body with me to eat it later~ Now then remember this as your last moments, my name is Douma the upper moon 2."

Saying those words, he disappeared and appeared in front of Kanae in an instant as he prepared himself to kill the girl before him. However, he noticed how she seemed to have already expected the attack as she moved the blade in a way that she could still attack his neck.

Douma just grinned as he was a few inches from piercing the girl's stomach when suddenly the girl vanished. He paused as he realized that his target was nowhere in sight. He looked around and saw the younger sister carrying her older sister and running away from him.

He was rather shocked because he saw that she was so fast she manage to save her sister without him even realizing it and that she had already disappeared from his line of sight by the time he could understand what had just happened.

Douma: "That speed. It might have been as fast as Muzan-Sama."

His lips morphed into an interested grin. But he was brought out of his thoughts when the pain of his flesh being burnt by the sunlight brought him out of his thoughts as he ran away to a more shaded part of the forest and returned to the dimension known as the infinity castle where all the upper moons lived.

(With Shinobu & Kanae)

Shinobu kept running with her sister on her back. With all the energy she still had remaining, she forced herself to continue running to reach the demon slayer headquarters. The only thing on her mind was getting somewhere safe where no demons could be to let her sister rest.

Shinobu who was running eventually saw the demon slayer headquarters and saw the Tsugoku of the current flame hashira Rengoku who looked in their direction and seemed to want to say something to her and then he blinked once and Shinobu had already dashed past him leaving him shocked! As he turned his head to see Shinobu has vanished heading in the direction of the butterfly mansion.

Rengoku: "Something is not right, she made it past me after I just blinked. It could not have been because of adrenaline as the boost she gets would not have been that much. Hrrm, I will go discuss this with Oyakata-Sama."

As Shinobu continues her mad dash towards the butterfly mansion, the moment she arrived, she immediately brought he sister to one of the medical rooms, and immediately placed Kanae on one of the beds, and went to check on the state of her sister.

She was relieved to see nothing too bad, just some minor cuts, bruises, and exhaustion. She took a closer look and saw ice melting off her sister. But seeing it melting away she sighed as knew that Kanae should be able to recover soon enough.

Shinobu: "Ice huh? Does that mean the Upper Moon two's blood demon art allows him to create and manipulate ice? If it is, he is quite a danger to us. I will have to report all this to Oyakata-Sama as well sigh."

Now that Shinobu had calmed herself down, she felt all the excess strength she had disappeared making her fall from exhaustion. After falling on the floor, she finally remembered the contract she had made to get that temporary strength to save her sister.

Shinobu: "Just who was that man? And what did he mean by becoming his disciples?"

A few minutes later, Shinobu finally had the strength to get up. And right after she had gotten back to her feet, the door to the recovery room she was in opened, and a tall man with hair the color of flames entered the room. Shinobu greeted the man respectfully.

Shinobu: "Good morning Rengoku-San. Is there something that I can help you with?"

The young man named Rengoku nodded his head and spoke softly so as to not disturb the recovering patients.

Rengoku: "Oyakata-Sama is calling a Hashira meeting. He wants you to be there as your sister is still recovering to explain what happened."

Shinobu nodded her head in understanding as she replied.

Shinobu: "I was just about to do that actually. But still, thank you for informing me Rengoku-San."

Rengoku nodded his head before leaving the room. Shinobu sighed as she spoke to no one.

Shinobu: "Let's get this over with. I'm already mentally fatigued."

Saying those words, Shinobu left the butterfly mansion and headed to the Hashira meeting sight on behalf of her sister.
