Se-pu-ku! Seppuku!

Ubuyashiki: "Shinobu Kochou, you are hereby sentenced to commit seppuku for breaking our taboo."

Everyone: "!!!!"

Shinobu looked crestfallen at her leaders words. But she still gritted her teeth and bowed her head respectfully. After all, she understands that she broke the biggest taboo of the demon slayer corps, and that the other members might not like her being given preferential treatment by being allowed to avoid the punishment that was given to all Slayers who broke the taboo. As a leader Ubuyashiki must show that he will enforce the rules regardless of one's rank.

As the atmosphere turned depressing, Anos completely broke it by speaking.

Anos: "Trust me Shinobu, dying isn't that bad. I've died many times throughout my life. But, it eventually gets boring when you can't die anymore. And when your the most powerful and immortal, things get boring very quickly."

Everyone: "..."

Tengen Uzui spoke up.

Tengen:" I'm genuinely impressed. He really can't read the room now can he?"

The others just nodded their heads as Ubuyashiki spoke.

Ubuyashiki: "Shinobu Kochou, please head outside to prepare yourself to commit seppuku. All the other Hashiras will be the witness of your "death". Giyu will be your appointed Kaishakunin. Atleast you won't feel the pain of your beheading."

Shinobu was trembling in her spot as she nodded her head shakily.

Shinobu: "Thank You for your mercy Oyakata-Sama"

Although Shinobu managed to answer calmly, everyone could see the fear in her eyes. Ubuyashiki nodded his head as Shinobu got up from the floor of the room they were in and slowly made her way to the front yard of the Ubuyashiki Manor. Everyone else followed her from behind as they all appeared at the garden of the Manor, a kakushi appeared with a bucket, a tanto, and a towel. The kakushi placed the bucket on the ground, bowed respectfully and left in a mad dash.

As Shinobu now stands before the bucket that will be dyed in her blood, Shinobu gulped in fear. Not for her inevitable death, but for how her sister would react to the news. Even if she will be revived once more, just the thought of her sister learning what happened made her heart ache. Shinobu kneeled on the ground as she grabbed the tantō and placed it near her belly. She was trembling as the tanto in her hands was placed near her stomach. Giyu watched Shinobu with no change in his expression as he drew his nichirin blade. However, he tried to comfort her in her last moments.

Giyu: "I promise you it will be swift and painless."

(CLACK)

Giyu drew his blade and placed it near the nape of Shinobu's neck. But even with his reassurance, the Shinobu was still trembling. The other Hashiras continued to watch all that was happening in silence. They will not look away to not disrespect Shinobu's Seppuku.

Anos saw how Shinobu looked horrified, and sighed. He then thought to himself.

Anos: 'No matter how much you prepare yourself, when death faces you right in front of your face you get scared of it. Your life flashes before you, and you recall all your past regrets. But, she needs not fear death, for she will be revived anyway.'

Anos narrowed his eyes before he spoke.

Anos: "Shinobu Kochou. Slit your stomach open now."

Anos used compulsion magic to force Shinobu to obey. Everyone's eyes widened at Anos's words, especially since Shinobu's body no longer hesitated, and she slit her stomach open.

(SLIT) (SPLURT)

The ground stained crimson as the expression on Shinobu's face was one of shock before it turned into one of someone in extreme pain and anguish as her intestines came falling out of her now slitted stomach. However, even with all the pain shown on her expression, she refused to scream or cry as she knows that this is her punishment and hers alone. She won't scream, nor will she cry. She will stay strong for her sister. Anos simply looked at the anguished look on Shinobu's face as he spoke.

Anos: "Giyu. You may slice her head off."

Giyu was brought out of his shock by Anos and immediately raised his blade as he muttered.

Giyu: "Fifth Form: Blessed Rain After the Drought"

Giyu changes the grip on his sword and decapitates Shinobu's head in a single flowing strike that causes little to no pain. It is a "sword strike of kindness" usually used when the enemy that are usually demons willingly surrenders. But this time it was used to help a human die with no pain.

As Shinobu's head came clean off her neck, her expression was one of regret. It made Giyu uncomfortable seeing her expression. And he wasn't the only one. Even some of the other Hashiras were a little bit uncomfortable with her expression of regret. But their thoughts were cut off by Anos speaking.

Anos: "Is that the end of it young man? Has she been cleared of her mistakes?"

Ubuyashiki closed his eyes slowly after watching what happened before replying

Ubuyashiki: "Shinobu Kochou is now no longer branded as a rouge slayer who made a deal with a demon."

Everyone of the Hashiras bowed respectfully and replied.

Everyone: "Yes Oyakata-Sama!"

Anos: "Then I will revive her now."

Ubuyashiki: "Very well then. But before you do, I must ask, why did you force her to do it? Are you not afraid of her hating you?"

Anos: "It simply does not matter. I am already hated by many beings. What does it matter if that list goes up by another one?"

Everyone became silent hearing Anos's words. Anos raised his hand and chanted.

Anos: {"Ingal"}

Everyone looked on in shock as Shinobu's headless body was dropped inside some kind of magic circle, before coming out of it completely fine as if she wasn't decapitated just moments ago.

Everyone: "!!!"

Ubuyashiki: "Shinobu, how do you feel?"

Shinobu: "I... I'm alive?"

Anos scoffed at Shinobu's confusion causing all eyes to fall on his as he replied.

Anos: "I'm a demon of my word Shinobu. I said I would revive you, and I kept my word."

Shinobu: "I see."

Shinobu closed her eyes as she took a deep breath. Here she was standing completely fine when just seconds ago she had lost her head. Shinobu felt the pulsing beat of her heart as she smiled slightly, glad that she will still be able to be there with her sister. Shinobu turned to Anos and bowed her head as she spoke.

Shinobu: "Anos Voldigoad, I thank you for reviving me, and allowing me to continue staying human."

Anos: "You're welcome. Glad to see that you know how to be grateful. In fact, I was fully prepared to hear you complaining about me forcing you to cut open your stomach. And the moment you did, I would have completely tuned you out till you finished your pointless complaints. Glad you know how to show proper respect."

Everyone: "..."

Shinobu's face twitched slightly as veins started appearing all around her face as she put on her brightest smile as she replied.

Shinobu: "On second thought, Anos Voldigoad, please go and die."

Anos: "Couldn't even if I wanted to."

Shinobu: "...."

Everyone else: "...."

Ubuyashiki coughed into his fist getting everyone's attention as he turned to Shinobu and spoke.

Ubuyashiki: "Shinobu, I hope you can understand why I did what I did. Even with the fact that we have some information on the Upper Moon 2,and we didn't lose a Hashira, many of the other Slayers wouldn't have been happy even with that information."

Shinobu: "I understand Oyakata-Sama, as the leader of the demon slayer corps, you must show that you will not bend the rules for anyone regardless of rank. I will continue to help the organisation as its doctor, and I can't wait to see the day Kibutsuji Muzan is killed."

Ubuyashiki: "I thank you for understanding Shinobu."

Shinobu nodded her head before turning her head to look at Giyu before she bowed her head to him surprising him and making him jump slightly.

Shinobu: "Thank you Tomioka-San for making my death a painless one. And I'm sorry that your blade had to be stained by the blood of a human and not a demon."

Giyu froze for a few seconds before he nodded his head and replied calmly.

Giyu: "It's fine. It was easier to cut your head off because of your short height and weak constitution."

Giyu's face became wide in shock as he looked at Anos who snorted in amusement at forcing Giyu to say those words.

Shinobu: "...."

Everyone else only had a single thought in their mind after hearing Giyu's words.

Everyone: 'He's dead.'

The veins on Shinobu's face became even more prominent as she replied with her eyes looking extremely dark.

Shinobu: "Ara~ Tomioka-San~ You really should becareful with your words. No wonder you don't have any friends, with a mouth like that nobody would ever want to be your friend. Hrrm, I'm afraid that Tomioka-San will be a loner for the rest of his life. What a pity~"

Giyu felt his soul being pierced by Shinobu calling him a loner with no friends.

Shinobu: "In fact, I think I should just cut out that disrespectful tongue of yours~"

Anos merely snorted in amusement at Giyu's suffering, then he saw how Shinobu was rubbing her forehead probably from a big headache. Ubuyashiki spoke up once more getting everyone's attention.

Ubuyashiki: "Please come inside so we can continue our discussions. And Anos Voldigoad, I thank you for bringing Shinobu back to life. As she is not only a Tsugoku, but also the demon Slayers main doctor, her still being alive is a great gift for us. As for the rest of you, if somehow news of what happened reached the ears of the lower ranked Slayers, the story is simply that a demon with the ability to transform themself was the one behind everything."

All The Hashiras bowed their head and answered respectfully.

Hashiras: "Understood Oyakata-Sama!"

Ubuyashiki nodded his head as he walked back into his estate with everyone else joining him. Once inside, Ubuyashiki spoke up.

Ubuyashiki: "Sanemi. If you have something you would like to say, please do speak up."

All eye's turned to look at the wide eyed Sanemi who immediately bowed his head before replying.

Sanemi: "Indeed Oyakata-Sama, I would like to ask permission to kill this Demon."
