Chapter 40 - Falna.

I easily descend the dungeon killing every monster I've met using my sword. It seems that I can leech the Falna in my back and convert it to increase my maximum reserves but doing that will make me forever level one.

Vice versa, I can also convert my original energy to Falna to increase my level very quickly.

After expending hours I'm pretty sure that I can already level up. I killed a lot of monsters gaining excelia without Aneesa's help. Boy, it's a pain to pick up those stones and drop items so I just created four long arms behind me using my energy to pick up the drops.

Adventurers and supporters can gather excelia to raise their status and grow stronger.

Right now I am on the 17th floor. In front of me is a huge room. The walls are in different colors, here is where the first-floor boss is waiting.

I entered the big room as the floor began to shake and the huge floor boss exited his wall.

It has a large body that reaches seven meters and has gray skin. It is always reborn two weeks after it is killed. It is a Level 4 monster.

Right after it got out I throw multiple chains binding it to the ground. I am testing the strength of the chains which I use quite a bit of energy.

The chains made a snapping sound as the monster pull all of its strength in breaking it.

Oh, it got out awesome...I bind it again.

"Roarrrrr!!!!" I think I've to anger it. Can it still break the chains because I've put two times of energy into it?

The monster tried its best but no matter how it struggles it never made a progress in breaking the chains.

Got it level 4s cannot break the items with this much energy. Meaning I can restrain any level 4 indefinitely. How about level5? Do I need to increase the energies by two? So two times increase every level that is my theory for now.

"Thanks for being part of this experiment Goliath...thas is the name that the people gave you right?"

"Roarrrr!!!" It shouted at me how rude. Don't struggle so much it would be over soon.

I modified the edges of the chains making small blades all over them before tightening them to kill the giant monster.

After retrieving the huge magic stone the monster corps turned into dust.

I've noticed that there is a party of adventurers looking at me with wide eyes and opened mouths.

I smiled at them but didn't say anything. Oh, don't run...

"I'm too lazy to climb up again," I said as I gathered the right amount of energy to create a crack in space teleporting me on the second floor of the blue pharmacy. What? This skill can transfer me to other universes of course it can transfer me anywhere I know in this world.

There a Chienthrope with long brown hair, purple eyes, dog ears, and a tail is looking at me like she saw a ghost.

She repeated rub her eyes then rub again.

Hey! That is too much rubbing you are going to hurt yourself.

"Hello there Naaza-san, can I trouble you to sell this loot here? Oh, you can take some materials for our business and sell others to the guild."

"Noted..." She said but she cannot still believe what is she seeing.

I left the loots and gone straight to my bed. I will let Miach upgrade my status after I take my nap. I like sleeping these days I am growing?

After a few hours of napping, I'm back with full energy. come to think of it where did I sleep? I still don't have a room in blue pharmacy so I just pick up a random room then went straight to sleep.

Checking the room I find it rather pleasing this room is like a doctor's room similar to the butterfly mansion in Demon Slayer world.

Yep, I'm in Naaza's room I should go apologize for intruding.

Using detection I quickly find Naaza and Miach in different rooms downstairs.

"So this house also has a storage area I'm impressed. Please forgive me for the sudden work I caused."

I find the two of them sorting the loot.

"Hahaha, we're quite glad you brought this much with this and your card we can settle this month's dept." Miach straightforward said.

I can see Naaza made a sad expression but quickly hide it.

"Are you ready for your status update Ace-san?" Miach questioned which I responded yes.

He took me to a similar room earlier and prick his finger with a needle and drop blood in my back.

"This..." Miach heart can't take all the surprise he saw this day.

I've leveled up to 2, then 3, then 4.

Three level-ups in the same say I received my status. How about that huh.

I also received several skills.

Development Ability, Hunter.

Hunter's ability improves abilities against monsters that the user has fought before and gained excelia from. It can only be obtained at Level 2 and requires the user to have killed many monsters in a short period of time, making it difficult to obtain.

Skill, Paladin's Body

A skill created just for me, the effect said the user is immune to any disease and resistant against poison, stun, etc... Pretty sure I have this even before when I still don't have status.

Skill, Reflect shield.

Oh, I created this and find out that it requires Falna to work properly. Unlike the dome-like auto-guard, this shield is cylindrical in shape, doesn't block, and received damage which is quite idiotic for the name but as the name suggested it reflects damage.

I can control how much reflected damage will be output.

"Are you cheating how was this even possible?" Miach said with a serious tone like he was questioning all reality.

"Umm, I've trained my body before I start adventuring?" I said with a straight face.

Technically I cheated, why? The more you level up or status up the harder it is to be stronger. But what if you defeated those monsters at level 1. Yeah, I absorbed the energy from my back while I am killing monsters then return it when Miach is upgrading my status. Neat...

Right now I increase my overall battle power by 20%. Level 4 in one day beat that harem protagonist. With this speed maybe I don't need to kill gods after all.

I'm level 4 but still didn't develop a resurrection skill or any kind similar to that. So I guess it doesn't matter which god blesses you with Falna your abilities will still be your responsibility, what you do is most likely you will be given.

Miach gave me a long stare then sigh, he closes his eyes as if thinking of what do to next.

"Yes, it is impossible for mortals to cheat so I will eliminate that possibility. Maybe your potential is one in a million, an unknown genius, yes..." Miach said as if he is convincing himself and not me.

Oh yeah, he will be busy reporting to the guild that is not my job so... yup good luck Miach!

I will leave this future problem to future Miach. Sounds about right.
