Chapter 39 - Joining a Familia

After that weird encounter, I finally decided what familia should I enter. One of the poorest familia in Orario, Miach familia.

The Miach Familia is a medicinal type of Familia. I think they own a blue pharmacy which is also their home. I think my healing and regeneration will improve after if I receive his blessing.

I asked around for the location of Miach Familia.

"You can take that road to the east they are near the abandoned church." The muscular man said.

I said my thanks as I walk in the said direction. After this, I need to buy some clothes I can't wear this uniform forever.

Yep, this is the blue pharmacy, a decent two stories establishment. The 1st floor is the pharmacy itself so I'm guessing the second is the sleeping quarters. It's quite large suggesting that they are quite wealthy before. I wonder what happened.

Entering the place I saw various items from the potion, monster lure, repellent, and other expendables.

The girl that is manning the store is the only member of Miach Familia as I recall, named...I forgot her name, I mean you can't expect me to remember each of their names.

"Welcome to the blue pharmacy, may I interest you in some potions? I guarantee you their quality," The woman said. I like her already she doesn't blush when talking to me.

"Sorry I am not a customer. Actually, I want to join your familia."

Woah she is releasing an extreme amount of doubt, did I do something wrong?

"Don't get fool by our stocks we are actually very poor." She flatly said that. no wonder no one is willing to join them.

"I know, can I please see Miach-sama?"

"Miach-sama won't give free potions today but you can come back tomorrow."

"No, I don't want free potion can you please just let me talk to him?" I said with my left eye twitching.

"Oh my my, It seems we have a visitor."

A man with long dark blue hair and dark blue eyes. He wears a black robe, a tan brown stole that reaches down past his shoulders, and brown shoes. This person or rather a god is Miach.

"Miach-sama please go upstairs and sort our inventory, This man just wanted some free potions." The woman said causing more twitching to my eyes. Is she not listening to me?

"This was a mistake coming here."

"Oh sorry about my child here she is just cautious of strangers especially a high-rank adventurer such yourself. Here treat this as an apology, and please keep patronizing my familia," Miach said as he grabs three potions and put them on a table.

Oh now I get it, This god is giving away free potions so that is why this woman doesn't want me to meet him.

"Thanks but I am really not here for that, I actually want to join your familia, honest," I said as I gave the woman a cheeky smile.

Miach gave me an excited smile but the woman still not buying it.

"Don't be rude Naaza, he is telling the truth." So that woman's name is Naaza, noted.

"Alright thanks for trusting our familia," Naaza said as she gave me an apology.

I've been asked various questions before I am allowed to enter his familia. Such as have I been part of another familia before, but all in all it was a smooth process. I also cleared the misunderstanding that I am a high-class adventurer.

After the conversation, Miach leads me to an unused room where he engraves my status to my back.

I felt foreign power entered my back but didn't join my original energy. It forms another source. Right now I have 4 different sources of energy. In my head, chest, stomach, and the new source at my back.

The new source is very tiny like a drop of water compared to my huge swimming pool sources.

"Welcome to our familia Ace-san. Sorry, we are out of money this month for a celebration."

Miach gave me a paper with a copy of my status on it. I can tell he is really shocked by the value of my status.

"It's fine, I will head to the dungeon to test something, Here I got a few valis here so use it to buy some materials for the shop." I left the brown card containing 200k valis on the table.

"Wait I encourage you to run to the guild first and buy a map or get an advisor..." Miach slightly panics because of my sudden action.

"I have already gone there yesterday, don't worry Miach-sama I will only explore the upper floors," I said reassuring him.

"First let me tell you something..." Miach said with a serious tone.

He told me that I already pass one of the two requirements to level up which is getting one of my basic abilities to D rank. The only thing left is to accomplish something that even god would be impressed.

He also told me that don't push myself and just do what I can. He really is a kind-hearted god. No wonder he is called a natural gigolo.

I left the familia to test something in the dungeon. Seeing how many adventurers and supporters around Babel really puts me in the mood for adventuring. Come to think of it do I need a supporter?

Surveying the area I spotted multiple supporters waiting for someone to hire them.

"Umm, Mr. Ace perhaps are you looking for a party?" I felt someone is tugging my sleeve but the voice is extremely familiar that I am slightly afraid to turn my head.

Yeah, there she is the waitress from earlier with head tilted making a cute gesture wearing armored gloves and light armor on top of her uniform. Her name was Lunoire Faust as I remember.

Hey, are you sure your boss will not get mad at you if you destroy your uniform? And please wear your knee armor properly I can tell you hurry to dress up.

Sensing my glances she blushes and looks away, "Umm, If you l-l-look at me like that I will ask you to m-ma-marry me."

Seriously, what kind of aggressive woman is this, she looks innocent and caring but she really straightforward.

"Ms. Faust, is it alright to dive in the dungeon with your uniform on?" I asked with a smile. I ignored her antics I am not ready to be tied down!

"Mama mia will scold me b-but if you give me a minute I can change to more appropriate clothes!"

"I am really in a hurry so that would be inconvenient, maybe we can do a proper dive tomorrow?"

"Really!? That would make me so happy! I will be here early in the morning! I will cook a lot of delicious food!" She squeals, wait girls really do squeal? this is the first time a squeal is directed at me. I thought squeals are for celebrities only.

Ahh, she left running and I completely forgot to ask if she is stalking me.
