Chapter 41 - Dinner with Lunoire

Miach finished registering Ace to his familia in the guild. Various questions are asked and some of them are questions against reality.

The guild even accuses Miach of falsification of information regarding this new adventurer. Miach said that it is what it is and there is nothing wrong with having a very extremely naturally gifted child. The process was very rough and the guild even calls Ace and used their connection to rent an unknown god to analyst Ace's words. They found out every bit of information about Ace is true and he has no signs of lying.

After a few days news about Ace spread like Forest fire.

All of the familias are talking about this information, even the big one cannot deny Ace's existence. They are using their connections to find more about him. Too bad there is nothing to be found.

"Thank you for choosing to join us Ace of the golden chains~" One day after Ace came out from the dungeon Naaza suddenly teased him by saying his unofficial nickname.

Ace hates this nickname because it sounds childish and dumb. Ace didn't level up this week or gain any skill because he is transferring the energy he gains from the monster to his paladin source.

"Don't tease me Naaza you know I hate that nickname, Are you done manning the shop?"

"I know that's why I love to say it, Miach-sama is currently manning the shop and we don't have many customers this hour of the day. " She replied.

"Yeah then please sort this loot." Ace said as he points to two huge crates on the ground.

"Grrr, I think it's time to do some hiring..." Naaza said in a flat tone.

"Hurry the crates will disappear in an hour~," Ace said as he goes straight to his room.

His room is next to Naaza near the stairs.

"I've got a feeling that I am forgetting something..." Ace thought while he is taking a quick break on his bed as he suddenly remembers his promised dungeon dive with the Lunoire.

'Well, shit I'm an asshole.' Ace thought then check his closet.

The closet is filled with different types of clothes courtesy of Naaza.

'Given that I already went to the dungeon maybe I can compensate her with dinner, I hope she did not take this to heart.' Ace thought as he changes his clothes to a white long sleeve v-neck and black pants and shoes.

"Aneesa wash my clothes, thanks." Ace said as white light came out from him.

"Y-yes my l-lord," Aneesa said.

'Did she stutter?' Ace thought but didn't say.

After Ace left the room Aneesa removed her helmet showing her beautiful face consist of green short hair and blue eyes.

"Lord's clothes...It is still warm," Making sure that Ace already left Aneesa begun to sniff Ace's clothes.

Inside the hostess of fertility, a young woman in love is sighing now and then. "I wonder if he hated me because of my persistency, I had made too many sandwiches and gone waste because he doesn't show up. I even used my vacation this week."

"Hey, Lunoire deliver this on table 5..."

Lunoire obeys but her mind is still wandering elsewhere when a familiar figure suddenly entered their pub. Her pupils dilated while looking at the man wearing simple clothes.

"Hey!!! The soup is spilling quickly put it on the table," The customer said with panic.

"I'm so sorry!" Lunoire apologizes then turned her attention to the familiar figure.

"What can I get you Ace-kun? Ah! first follow me to your table," Lunoire excitedly said as if she already forgets that Ace didn't stand to his promise.

"Lunoire take this, argh never mind Chloe take her shift she's been waiting for him," Mia said.

Chloe agrees without saying anything they know how much Lunoire is longing for Ace even though they didn't understand how Lunoire falls for him too quickly.

"So want to go to the dungeon with me now or do you want to eat first? I prepared sandwiches this morning but they gone cold, want me to create another batch?" Lunoired said as she takes her seat beside Ace.

'Did she always made food every day this weak and waited for me in Babel? So pure yet so aggressive,' Ace thought while looking at Lunoire.

"First let me apologize for what I've done. I'm really sorry I completely forgot our plan because of the trouble with the guild." Ace said with a gentle smile.

'Ahhh, this is why I want to be with him, My man is always leaking this gentle aura that puts my heart in peace...I want more of his smile."

"Don't worry I've already forgiven you for that d-darling..." Lunoire said the last part very quietly.

"Oh thank you for the Faust-san."

"Please call me Lunoire Ace-kun," Lunoire said shyly.

"Lunoire-san is quite wordy how about." Ace didn't have a chance to finished when Lunoire intervenes saying she prefers Darling, sweetly, honey, babe.

"How about Ire? It's got a good ring to it." Ace ignored her suggestion.

'Well, giving a nickname to each other is a good start too," Lunoire thought as she accepted her nickname.

"So I'm actually here to make up to you, I want to invite you to dinner here but you appear to be busy?" Ace questioned then look at Mia Grand.

Mia gave me a thumbs up then said, "Just spend a lot of money kid."

Lunoired seems so overly excited as she dashes toward the kitchen. As I remember you are not the cook right?

'How can I even spend money here if Ire is cooking for me,' Ace thought as he looks around only to find out that everyone is looking at him.

"Is that him? Level 4 on one day, is that even possible? I think he bribes the guild to modify his information.

"That is outright cheating, a slap to every adventurer's face. A kick to every familia's butt..."

"We get it dude you are drunk or do you want to face him in a fight?"

The drunk adventurer looks at Ace only to find him smiling at him. "Ahahaha I'm going home I'm drunk...don't take my words seriously man, I'm just a side character made to make the image of the main character cool. I'm going home!!!"

"Ahahahahahaaha!" A bunch of adventurers made a nervous laugh when they've noticed Ace is listening to them. They also change their topic very quickly.

They are obviously afraid of Ace because of the humor that he soloed a floor boss while sadistically laughing, yeah rumors spread fast. It is also noted that he bondage Goliath while throwing dirty words at it.

'He left so quick, how does my usual smile have different effects on different people. I am that ugly or scary?' Ace thought as he waits for Lunoire's sandwiches.
