Chapter 33 - Angel vs Demon

*Ace POV*

Five days has passed, it is nighttime right now. This is the last stop before we can reach the village of Madius.

We are now staying at the inn after doing throughout searching in this village. Shinobu and Mukago are sharing a room and sleeping right now, while I am meditating in my own room.

I manage to slightly increase my maximum reserves these past days but calling my familiar will still take almost all of my energy.

Ohh, I get it, If I don't know another way to increase my reserves in a faster way. Maybe someone with more experience can teach me, someone like that Light guy...or Aneesa.

I called Aneesa in my mind as I felt my energy drop down to a critical level. Energy converged in front of me, then forms to Aneesa.

"How can I serve, lord Ace?" Aneesa took her usual knightly bow and wait for my response.

"At ease, Do you know any way to increase my maximum energy?" I questioned.

Aneesa stood up then answered the question, "Guardians have different ways to increase their power. Since the lord is a guardian in a form of a paladin. You can increase your energy by praying or doing a god's will."

"Ehh? Do I really need to pray to a God?" I questioned.

Aneesa shakes her head, "For a normal paladin, yes, But Lord is a guardian with a nature of paladin, you can take more drastic way to increase your power."

"Like what way? like killing a god?" I jokingly said.

"Yes my lord," Aneesa answered emotionlessly.

Seriously? that is an option? "What do you mean Aneesa, why killing a god would make me stronger? I don't have those systems where I can earn experience right?"

"This the advantage of a paladin, As a paladin your nature is to take the power that was given to you by gods and use it as your own, but that also meant that if you slew some gods you will obtain their power," Aneesa explained like killing a god was never a problem.

"Did Light, the previous paladin guardian killed gods?" I questioned.

"Affirmative my lord, Lord light slew exactly three gods and obtain their powers. He slew Hades, the king of the underworld. Thanatos, A minor god of death. Lastly, ROB, the god of reincarnation."

"And if I am the next guardian why don't I have those gods' power?" I questioned with half-close eyes.

"Lord Light's death causes the gods power to disperse and returned to their universe, he just left you with the basic power of a guardian," Aneesa explained.

"I get It thanks for explaining, Aneesa. One more questioned, How can I get out from this universe?"

"Since you already can summon me, I guess Lord Ace can already get out of this world," Aneesa observes me for a second before continuing.

"First Gathered half of the energy needed to call me to your fingertips then imagine your destination, After having a clear picture of your destination, slash the space near you, then you can enter that space and arrive at your target."

"But what if I don't know or If I don't have a clear image of where I am going?"

"Then I can send you some image from my memory, you just need to tell me where do you want to go, but some worlds are harder to teleport to because of higher or more powerful beings in them," Aneesa explained.

So I guess, the stronger the beings in those worlds meant higher energy needed to teleport there. My opponent is a system holder, the one who defeated my predecessor and the god of thunder.

But I still have 100 years to get stronger and since I already called Aneesa here maybe I can ask her to go to the village so I can make sure that they are fine.

As soon as Aneesa received the order from Ace, she quickly flew towards the said village.

She reached the village in half an hour because of her ability to fly. Hiding within the clouds Aneesa started to search for anything that has a chance to endanger the village.

With her eyes that can see long-distance, Aneesa found a man with pale golden blond hair interacting with the villagers. In just one glance Aneesa knows that this man is a demon, this demon is Doma, upper rank 2.

"Dangerous individual found, Initiating order, kill all of the demons..." Aneesa dive down with incredible speed towards the demon.

Like an eagle, Aneesa grabs the demon and takes it to the air so that the village won't take any damage.

"Eh?? What an honor to be caught by a real angel, but I am taking my landing now," Doma said as he creates ice spikes all over his body.

But the ice didn't manage to scratch Aneesa's armor, much less to pierces it.

"What now again?" Doma is shocked because no matter how much he tried he can't get out of Aneesa's grip as they going continue to get higher in the sky.

"If you can't break them, then break yourself," Doma charismatically said as he cut his own arms to escape Aneesa's grasp.

Doma manages to break out but he is now gushing down at a very high speed. It's no problem for his regeneration though.

Suddenly a bunch of hardened feathers is flying towards Doma, "Give me a break lady, I am helping the villagers right? hehehe, Ice shield!"

A huge block of ice appeared between the feathers and Doma, but the feathers ignored that Ice and continue to piercing his body.

*Pierce* *Pierce* *Pierce* *Pierce* *Pierce*

Multiple feathers hit Doma's body as he crashes to the ground.

*Boom!!!*

Multiple trees uprooted while dust filled the area.

Inside the dust-covered area, Doma is crawling to find a place to hide, 'That Angel is dangerous, so dangerous that I don't even feel an emotion coming from her. This is bad my wounds, they are so slow to regenerate.'

Doma covered his wound with ice and stand up, "Ahh! This is the best, but she is only one person, and I can multiple, Crystalline Divine Child!"

Doma creates 5 miniature ice replicas of himself to battle his opponents. He also already regenerated his arms as he was the one who dismembered them.

Aneesa hovers mid-air and flaps her wings to clear the dust, there she saw a smiling Doma with other miniature ice replicas of himself.

The angel then shows Doma's despair as she created an equal number of clones using her feathers.

"How delightful, it's sad that I need the help of my friends to defeat you. Nakime please initiate the plan."
