Chapter 32 - Village Of Madius 01

After the feast Ace and his group travel again towards the village of Madius and find demons on their way.

It should take them a week or more to reach the village of Madius, the demons may be active but they are still few unlike when Muzan was their leader.

Ace right now tasked Shinobu to be the main fighting force because he needs to expend all of his energies so that his reserves can increase.

If something goes wrong he can always use prayer of war to finish it quickly anyway.

While walking Ace holds the flower with his right hand then he circulates his energy and puts it all into the flower effectively increasing the construct's lifespan.

"I still can't get used to this feeling," Ace said as he felt uncomfortable and powerless without energy actively running in his body.

Even though his physical strength shouldn't decrease that much.

Ace is not worried about needing the energy to turn a demon. because his prayer can already provide that and his energy regeneration is much higher now.

"Don't worry, Ace-sama, I will protect you!" Mukago shyly said. Mukago is also stronger now because of her real-life battle experience as a human, though she still can only use one technique of love breathing.

"I trust you to do that Mukago, after all, you are my personal guard right?"

"Un! I will work harder!" Mukago replied with determination in her eyes.

Shinobu just chuckled in the side because of their interaction, 'They are like father and daughter, I wonder what Tomioka-san is doing...' Shinobu thought.

*Village Head's granddaughter, Aika POV*

It's been two days since the disappearance of my grandpa, The villagers are all kind but I know when I look in their eyes, They already starting to give up on finding him.

Grandpa is the only person that disappears, we don't know if he got eaten by a bear or left the village without telling anyone, but I know that he won't abandon me by myself.

Mr. Wajowa and Ms. Taekayo take care of me, while the hunters search for grandpa, I miss him so much and I worried that I won't see him anymore. I wish Ace-nii was here to help me, If he is here I know that he will find my grandpa very quickly!

I walk in the back of our house and check my flower collection. I always like the flowers Ace-nii gave to me, I still can't find a white flower that will suit my collection.

"Aika-chan, come dinner is ready," That must be Ms. Taekayo, I don't feel hungry but I guess I need to eat stop them from worrying.

I approach the table and took my seat with them, I look at the food but I still can't find my appetite to eat.

"Aika-chan you need to eat! If your grandpa came back and find you lose weight, he will lecture us again haha," Mr. Wajowa said to me. I just nodded and tried to sip some soup.

Suddenly I heard a knock coming from outside.

"I'll get it, you both continue eating," Mr. Wajowa said as he stands up and opened the door.

The man wore a blood-red turtleneck of a design that made it appear that the section between his neck and upper chest is covered by a black substance that looks like it's dripping slightly down his body, this same design repeated at his wrists and down his hands.

He was holding a gold-colored hand fan, he seems friendly because of his smile, is he a visitor?

"Hello everyone, my name is Doma, nice to meet you all, Oh before anything else, I think you know this person here?" The man named Doma said as grandpa entered the scene.

I quickly rush to hug grandpa, "I miss you so much, grandpa!" I cried because of the happiness of seeing him well.

The man pats me on my head while wearing his friendly smile, I smile at the man who finds my grandpa and let him pat me.

After that, I bring grandpa home while Doma-niisan entered Mr. Wajowa house and continue chatting with them.

Grandpa seems tired so I will let him rest for now, but I will ask so many questioned tomorrow! Be prepared now idiot grandpa!

Grandpa seems fine this morning but, weirdly, he doesn't remember anything regarding his disappearance.

The villager said it's not weird at all because grandpa is old and his memory will not be similar when he is young.

Well, At least my grandpa is safe and we can start living happily again! Sigh, I still miss Ace-nii.

Since that day Doma-niisan is always visiting our village at night, he always giving us gifts, He even offered to strengthen our wall, which grandpa approved.

He and his friend are unusually strong but they get the job done. Doma-niisan is weird though, He is always smiling and watching like he is waiting for something or someone.

The villagers quickly got familiar with Doma-niisan, They were always excited about what new things he will give to us, the females are more passionate, I think they're falling for his charms.

"Here is Aika-chan's candy supply~" Doma-nii gave me a handful of different flavor candy which I accept with a smile! Grandpa told me to always be grateful to our friends.

I run to my room and pick the most delicious-looking candy, I can't wait to give it to Ace-nii, I'm sure he will like this a lot too.

I then proceed to get some paper then write to Ace-nii though I don't know how can I send him my letters, uh, they're already piling up.
