: The Fight to live

The big Finale is almost here and finally, my week looks to be opening up after so long the shackles of work are finally being undone and soon I will fly again to wreak havoc on monsters again.

Trying a new style of being more descriptive so rate it at the end.

Anyway enough of me, let the chapter start—more notes at the end.

Infinite power, the most sought-after thing in the multiverse, with it one can rule the galaxy heck, the whole universe yet is that the case?

She had a core spewing out infinite energy yet she couldn't protect her planet when it was most needed, she couldn't protect those she cherished at heart, she was weak but she still fought on not just for her home but for all of humanity.

But all of this would mean nothing in the face of the enemy. To the enemy, she was nothing but a small fry and she hated it, she hated it when they attacked humanity, she hated it when they hurt her friends and she hated those who attacked her sisters.

Losing her and humanity left a deep void within her that could only be filled with the one emotion flowing through her system, nothing but pure anger.

Now Yamato felt something in her core switch. Time seemed to crawl as we look at the core of the Space Battleship, it glowed a blinding white and blue colour yet from its centre a streak of black emanated from it before it suddenly engulfed the core in a black energy that glowed red and this dark energy was pouring out seemingly infinitely.

The energy worked its way around Yamato's body and soon it had circulated fully around her with her eyes burning with a black colour its centre a blood-red slit shape that stared at the sight before her in a devoid look. Still, her inner emotions were burning in anger.

As time slowly ticked by, the energy inside her gathered and pooled around her pathways until it reached a critical level.

Time moved faster and the sword was inching closer towards Ginga, at that moment black energy covered Yamato's skin as the Queen and the soldier holding Yamato down sensed this new potent energy but it was too late.

This energy expanded violently outwards at a speed close to the speed of light as possible and this energy slammed first into the soldier and pushed her back. The same reaction happened to the queen but for Ginga, the energy seemed to miss her by centimetres only clipping some strands of hair and cutting them.

Time flowed back normally and the aftermath of the energy release was on full display, the chamber they were in and the building itself were gone, and the same for every building 1km from where they were standing.

Ginga's golden eyes looked at this destruction with shock, her mind forgetting about her wounds as she searched the ruins for the enemy. Suddenly, she heard footsteps approaching. She turned around and saw a familiar figure emerging from the smoke.

When her eyes met the familiar figure of her sister, her spirits were raised as she felt relieved that she was alive, but something was off with her, as small repair barges plus some pelicans were released from Yamato's surviving left rigging as well as a med kit for her wounds but Yamato's head was bowed, her face hidden from view.

"Yamato?" Her voice cut through the air with a sense of unease at how her sister was acting.

Slowly, Yamato's head turned to face her and as soon as she met with Ginga's a shiver ran down Ginga's spine as her eyes were different. Ginga could feel the cold malice emanating from them but suddenly Yamato looked away only for her rigging to be engulfed in a strange black-red flame.

This flame seemed to reconstruct her destroyed rigging as soon her new mat black hull took shape along with more menacing turrets that looked larger and the presence of more missile cells on her broadside as well as vertical launch systems that weren't in her smoke stack but this time in front of her turret 1 and behind her turret 3 in total it gave her a combined missile payload of slightly over 200 missiles.

This simple regeneration shocked Ginga. Yamato looked back at her, the glow in her eyes dimming before she spoke.

"Ginga," Her normal voice was gone only a cold, detached voice sounded from her, "Heal up and go help the others, I'll handle the rest"

The silent, sub-engines on her feet woke up from their slumber as a large yellow cone of fire was spewed out from them kicking up a large amount of dust and wind.

"Wait, sis-*muffled scream*" A giant flare of pain struck her as soon as she moved making her lay on the floor as Manjuus attended to her damaged rigging and wounds.

Through teary eyes, she could only watch as Yamato lifted off the ground and flew out to finish the fight.

Yamato felt stronger than before, much stronger, as her form had jumped to her retrofit after the fall of Earth though, for her strange energy, you could just say it's the negative side of her wave motion energy yet at the same time it wasn't.

This energy wasn't a simple anti-wave motion energy particle, it was more of a dark version of it and though the 2 energies were similar, this dark property had more kick to it than the already powerful wave motion energy.

Thus, this version of Yamato was known as the Reaper, the one who destroyed literal worlds and brought down an entire empire until nothing but a few remnants remained, her fear was etched deep into the remaining civilisations and would have continued to other generations if the universe didn't implode on itself.

That last one was a battle that would have gone down in the history of time as the most powerful and epic battle but that didn't matter as Yamato noticed a large energy signature right ahead of her.

From the rubble, the Chaos soldier emerged with a few cuts but overall she was unharmed. Her eyes immediately located Yamato and the look she gave was nothing but pure anger. Yamato returned it with her malice as her turrets locked onto the soldier.

A deep black-red colour emanated from the barrel before it all turned black and with a single thought they all fired 9 black positron rounds, on closer inspection we realised these were transit rounds as before the rounds were a lighter shade with a red centre but these were black.

These black transit rounds tore through the air before each shot combined to form 3 dense beams that cut through the air. The Chaos soldier instinctively dodged them and that was good as she avoided a direct one-shot as the transit rounds struck the ground and exploded with more force than a nuclear bomb.

A bright flash occurred, almost like a mini sun as a giant fireball expanded before a large mushroom cloud formed hanging over the area with a sense of power. Most fights had paused to view this explosion as a massive shockwave and heat wave blew and scorched the land as most buildings were flattened by the quake and shockwave.

The Queen watched this explosion with nothing but shock as she saw her capital fall to its knees, though the people were removed, however, this would not pass without retribution and her eyes landed on Yamato who hovered above the explosion giving her an imposing look which looked sort of evil in a way.

For the Chaos soldier, no matter how much armour you have taking a nuclear-like explosion point blanc is nothing short of a death sentence but somehow she showed her tenacity by somehow surviving but not without having most of her skin molten as well as numerous systems sent offline. Even with all the agony she still looked at Yamato with nothing but anger as she silently cursed her to death.

Somehow, Yamato managed to sense the malice and looked directly at the beaten and broken soldier with a blanc look, a few seconds passed and Yamato looked away but not without multiple hatches opening as a plume of smoke billowed out from vents before multiple missiles launched from her and in total they were around 64 but these had a special package as they closed in on the defenceless soldier.

Their warhead was filled with dark energy and as soon as they made contact a similar explosion occurred, this one had less kick to it but it was still intense to the point that the soldier was killed just from the blast wave and temperature.

This version of Yamato did not give her enemy time or an opportunity to counter as we saw with Yamato when she had wave motion energy, she was not able to use her full weaponry to its advantage but here she was able to.

The explosion from the tipped missiles released more smoke and large fire embers into the sky as Yamato locked onto her final prey. She hovered over the burning city looking at the queen with an intense glare as her eyes seemed to glow.

It was only natural that most of her anger would be directed towards the queen as she was the one that hurt her precious sister and for that, it warranted a special death.

A sword manifested in the queen's hand and this was her Void sword a blade dark as the void itself and one that seemed to absorb the light that was being produced.

Yamato could only match her as ending the fight early was something she didn't want to do for her. A mass of black flames burned to her right as she reached in only for her hand to bring out a katana.

This weapon was different from her cosmic blades as it was a spitting image of modern-day Katanas. The handle was black with red coloured strings wrapping around it. The blade was the same black colour with red patterns etched into the middle of the blade that seemed to pulse with every second that passed.

Yamato gripped the handle with both of her hands as she pointed the blade forward before the red symbols glowed constantly as a sense of something powering up was felt. The blade glowed with a red hue that soon turned into a small black-red fire that coated its edge.

Yamato breathed out before her gravity anchors turned off sending her on a one-way trip down. The wind rushed past her quickly as she descended feet first onto the ground and on impact, her feet caused a massive tremor to pass through the ground as it shattered from the immense force of a whole battleship Landing on it.

The queen wasn't going to let this opportunity pass as energy built up on her feet as she leaned forward before launching herself at a speed faster than the speed of sound. The air blew past her in a roar as she swung her blade forward clashing against Yamato's katana with a force similar to a bomb going off.

A shockwave slammed into the surrounding areas as sparks blew from the weapons clashing until the queen noticed a surge of energy in Yamato's turrets making her jump backwards as a small condensed shield formed in front of her.

Moments later, 9 transit rounds slammed into the shield with a force similar to a nuke, but the queen's shield barely survived, its surface cracked like a spider web.

Yamato looked at the shield before her sensors went off as a massive black beam crashed through the shield. She didn't have time to dodge and thus focused her shield in front of her making a cone of black energy form before a massive white light spread out as the beam clashed with her shield.

Though the shocking thing was how fast it was depleting, when the attack ended she received a report that wasn't good.

Shield below 45%

Yamato stared at the queen with a surprised look as her eyes looked at the rigging forming around her and it was a monster if weapons were put in words.

The rigging was the same if not larger than hers with 2 large single barrel turrets looming above the queen, who was smiling, most likely having a barrel length of twice or more than hers as they glowed with a black colour. On her sides were 4 triple-mount turrets whose barrel length again looked larger than hers, other than that numerous smaller turrets were most likely AA, so there was the possibility of missiles but all in all the fight just got harder.

All main guns trained their sights on the queen as her VLS cells opened up ready to release their payload as the fight was just beginning.

Change of POV: Kitakami -Brief Flashback

Ever since the battle started the 2 cruisers had been having the upper hand with the help of Ginga until for one moment another enemy appeared on the battle.

The radar on for Kitakami went off quickly as an enemy seemed to appear behind her without any prior detection. Kitakami instantly gave the Chaos soldier in front of her a kick to the head, pushing them away as her VLS cells opened up on them giving them a special treat of cosmic-tipped missiles.

A large explosion occurred but Kitakami didn't pay it any attention as she turned to go and support her friend only for her to notice a strange blade moving closer and closer to her neck. Her arms moved with speed as she awkwardly blocked the blade only for her to be sent a couple of meters away.

Her arms slightly ached from the force of the attack but she didn't focus on it as all her senses focused on the new enemy in front of her and it was the Queen.

The queen looked at Kitakami with a confused look as it seemed she was gauging her strength from looks.

"For a cruiser," The queen's voice cut through the air with an imposing voice "You sure shouldn't have the strength of a battleship, at least you're stronger than that other ship over there"

The queen pointed in a certain direction where Kitakami's sharp eyes made out the figure of Ginga lying in a destroyed house but the only problem was that she wasn't moving.

"Ginga!" Kitakami's mind instantly went to panic as Ginga looked to be injured, "What did you do to her!?"

"Hmm? I only fought with her a bit as she looked to be the strongest ship here but that looked to be a fairy tale as she didn't attack back apart from missiles and a powerful shield for defence." The queen smiled as her blade seemed to burn from her energy coursing through it, "Don't worry, I didn't kill her, just sent her to sleep for a bit as I wanted to play with a strong ship and my guess wasn't wrong. So come on entertain me a bit with your best attacks."

The queen's eyes seemed to glow as a wicked smile played on her face before she got a burst of energy and launched at Kitakami who used her agility to her advantage ducking below the blade as her RCS fired full blast making her spin faster than the queen could dodge as her katana slashed onto her open side only for it to clash against a powerful shield.

Kitakami quickly retreated as her close-range attack didn't work. The queen though looked at Kitakami with a mix of surprise and joy.

"Again, the agility of that of a destroyer. This is getting interesting"

This time Kitakami was the one who attacked as she fired about 60 missiles against her making the queen smirk before she quickly formed a shield letting the missile smack against her shield, however when the shield was removed she found herself in a pickle as her vision was clouded by what seemed to be a smoke screen that messed with her sensors.

The queen knew that it was a disadvantage to her as she could get attacked by surprise thus she used her burst of speed and launched herself out of the smoke screen escaping the trap or so she thought.

On all sides, a cluster of missiles appeared blocking her escape, she quickly formed a shield blocking the missiles but this made her a sitting duck.

To her left and right she detected 2 ships that, as soon as her shield was lowered, gave her the gift of an absurd rate of fire as their main guns and Phoenix turrets opened up on the helpless queen.

Kitakami and Oicchi let the guns roar as a stream of cosmic rounds slammed into the queen's hastily raised shield. Both cruisers turned to show their broadside letting most of their guns open up on the queen and most hatches on the cruisers opened up to let their cosmic-tipped payload out and send it straight to the target.

Both cruisers weren't pulling their punches and let out over 200 missiles each that were tipped. Under such an onslaught, even the most powerful shield would fall to the insane amount of rounds and missiles slamming into it but things don't go as expected.

Even under the relentless onslaught, the shield looked to be expanding as it suddenly expanded blocking most of the rounds and missiles before shattering a few meters from impacting the cruisers. The 2 sisters stopped their onslaught as they looked at the centre only to see nothing.

This revelation shocked both sisters as they looked wildly for the queen only Kitakami to hear a loud boom from where her sister was, her eyes looked in time to see Oicchi fall to the ground with enough force to cause a mini-crater.

A surge of anger flowed through her only for her sensors to detect a breach right behind her and the massive energy that flowed out with it.

A hand lay on her shoulder and her body seemed to instinctively freeze up for no reason as her mind was filled with a sense of impending danger.

"You cruisers are special, to be able to force me to use my rigging is nothing easy but it seems I'd have to end this as I'm required elsewhere"

Kitakami routed all her power to her shield in hopes of blocking the attack as her backwards-facing phoenix turrets let out a hail of positron rounds at close range. This made the queen fall back giving Kitakami space to move as she fired all her thrusters on full blast trying to make a tactical retreat but something pulsed within her energy system.

Black energy took over her pathways as her core immediately shut down to prevent being corrupted and all critical systems went into safe mode. This was like a blow to her as her senses dulled and her last memories were of a giant cannon aiming at her before firing. Kitakami managed to somehow redirect all remaining energy to her shield blocking the attack somewhat but in the end, her shield was broken and the attack struck her armour, melting it before exploding violently sending her to the ground as a plume of smoke trailed her.

An explosion shook the ground as Kitakami and Oicchi were each knocked out of the fight but temporarily.

Present time

After an unknown amount of time, the fight between Yamato and The queen raged on as we saw that the area where the 2 cruisers were was covered in rubble and debris from the explosions going around them.

Kitakami's body lay motionless covered in this dark material but a dark glow was seen from where their hearts should be. This glow grew in intensity until it disappeared completely and this seemed to jump-start the core of the cruiser as her body started twitching erratically until Kitakami woke with a startle.

She immediately got up as the rubble covering her fell to the side, her eyes searched widely for the enemy until she didn't see any near her.

Her erratic breathing stabilized as she calmed herself before deciding to look for her sister. Any landmarks she had marked in her memory were all but flattened but she knew that she was close until she felt a spike in energy from a nearby pile of rubble.

Soon the rubble was blasted open and Oicchi emerged from it instantly targeting her sister but before she could fire she instantly recognized her stopping herself from attacking her sister.

"Oicchi, I'm glad you're safe" Kitakami spoke with a relieved tone as she hugged her sister who hugged her back.

"Me too, I'm glad you're okay"

Both foxes were damaged but luckily it was just their hulls, they still had all their guns in their arsenal as well as a boatload of missiles that would decimate any target as well as a final trump card of all trump cards. A last-ditch salvo from their Cosmic Guns and they can lay waste to something like Australia.

(Also I feel like most people underestimate the power of a Wave Motion Gun but anyway)

However, their wholesome moment didn't last long as explosions occurred around them. Most of them had the force of a nuke going off, creating a very turbulent area as shockwaves crisscrossed as well as heat waves creating a vortex of wind that blew the 2 foxes' hair around.

"What's going on?!" Oicchi asked as the explosions continued.

Kitakami was also clueless as she tried to track whoever was doing this but her eyes couldn't, only her radar could keep track of the individual targets until the contacts made a very sharp plunge.

A massive boom echoed to their left side as the ground shattered and caved in on itself followed by a powerful shockwave that blew dust everywhere.

The 2 sisters shielded their faces from this blast as their radars pinged 2 people in the middle of the crater. Their eyes met an unlikely sight of Yamato struggling to keep the queen in a deadlock as the 2 swords clashed repeatedly each clash creating a shockwave one after another.

Both sisters were left speechless as their shields protected them from anything that came at them. Yamato just so happened to see them from the corner of her eye and this distracted her for a moment and this proved to be a fatal mistake.

The queen smirked as she clashed with Yamato's katana but this time she did a downward slash trapping the katana as it was blocked by the queen's sword and this was all it took as her 2 main energy weapons fired their rounds into the open Battleship who could only focus her shield to block this attack.

But due to the earlier attack, her shield was depleted by half and she couldn't take another as the rounds shattered her shield and struck Yamato and exploded with a force close to a nuke but not quite. The resulting explosion flung Yamato back a couple of meters before she smacked into the hard ground.

The 2 cruisers saw this and didn't hesitate to help as they opened up with their phoenix and main guns creating a hail of positron rounds that smacked into the shield of the queen before unloading all their missiles on one target.

Over 600 missiles sailed to the queen and all were tipped with cosmic energy. No matter how good your shield is facing this combined attack lasers one's shield as the combined 600 missiles exploded at one point with an explosive power similar to a thermo-nuclear bomb which has a yield in the megatons.

The explosion pushed the cruisers back a few centimetres before their gravity anchors activated, keeping them stable from the tremor, shockwave and the heat wave that followed didn't affect them as they were rated to survive re-entry heat.

The mushroom cloud hung ominously over the area as the 2 cruisers quickly made their way to Yamato who was struggling to stand up, a hand clung tightly to a wound on her abdomen.

"Yamato!" Oicchi yelled as soon as they touched down from doing a short hop using their thrusters.

Yamato managed to look at them though the 2 cruisers were thrown off by the black eyes that sent out a wave of malice but even so, the 2 cruisers tried to help Yamato.

Yamato tried to deny their help but her wounds were a bit too serious for the cruisers to overlook. A few seconds later the sounds of thrusters sounded throughout the area as Ginga had just arrived.

"Sister!" Ginga yelled as she stood to the side as both cruisers finished patching up Yamato who silently allowed them to do as they pleased.

Yamato's black eyes looked at the cruisers and then at Ginga as something was being formed in her head.

"Kitakami, Oicchi can you lure the queen into the air That monster can take every other punishment thrown at it but let's see if she can take a wave motion gun to the face." Both cruisers nodded their heads as they understood the stakes at play there.

"Ginga, I need you to enhance the shot as I'm not taking chances her" Yamato's black eyes stared at Ginga's who was hesitant at first but agreed to it, "Then let's get to work as she's coming"

Both cruisers nodded their heads as they launched themselves at the only other radar contact there was in the immediate area. Yamato, looked briefly at them take off before a rifle appeared in her hands and this rifle was her wave motion gun.

Yamato sighed as she looked at the rifle with a look of regret before she felt a golden aura wrap around her.

"Don't worry sister, I'm here for you" Ginga smiled at Yamato giving her a sisterly love that soothed her heart.

Yamato smiled as she faced the ongoing battle taking place as multiple explosions were taking place in the sky above them, "I know Ginga and I'm glad"

Yamato placed both her hands on the rifle, one on the trigger and the other along the bottom half, lifting it as it aimed at the general battle area.

Raise wave motion engine pressure. Close emergency valves.

End of first part yes it was a long draft had to split again.
