The 2 cruisers ganged up on the queen using their agility and massive firepower to exploit every single opportunity that they saw and this was the only way for them to fight sort of evenly as one fight would end horribly for them thus they looked out for each other in the fight.

The 2 cruisers pelted the queen with their positron rounds which the queen was starting to get annoyed by but she wasn't allowed to attack as she was constantly defending that last combined attack made her cautious as her shield was starting to give out after so many attacks thrown at it.

Her sensors picked up a large energy surge but couldn't focus on it as the 2 cruisers switched to close-quarter combat their swords clashed with her shield and sword while their phoenix turrets continued blasting away only taking short intervals to cool down.

Kitakami focused as much energy as she could into her blade while condensing it along its edge as the queen parried and pushed Oicchi away only to suddenly go defensive again as Kitakami's blade clashed against the queen's.

Her thrusters were burning at full capacity as she slowly but surely pushed the queen back who at this point was starting to get worn out after facing Yamato in her rage form.

Kitakami was exerting a lot of her strength to push her back but all this was to delay as there was a timer being shared with them from Yamato and it hit 20 seconds.

She grit her teeth as she reaches more into her strength, her arms didn't like the constant force they were subjected to and cried out in pain but she held on until the 10-second mark. At this point, the queen was pissed off that she was getting bested by cruisers of all.

She reached into her reserve energy for a short boost and this helped her as she was able to overpower Kitakami and push her back only for the little cruiser to pull a dirty trick as her forward VLS cells opened up and released a strange warhead that exploded with a bright light, so bright it blinded the queen giving the 2 cruisers an opening that they exploited as the queen felt pain rupture from her riggings and body as they were torn by missiles, positron beams and sword slashes.

But this wasn't enough as the queen fired her turrets blindly managing to scare off the cruisers, or so she thinks.

Her sensors went haywire as an energy source she'd never before sensed in her life surged on a direct path to her. Her vision quickly returned only for her to see a giant beam of energy tear across the air as its black colour shined with a golden energy that interweaved with the black creating something akin to a spiral shape.

She didn't have time to think as the beam struck her and vaporised her on the spot before it continued even further beyond as it seemed to strike something in space-time.

A white light engulfed the whole area of Kaisen as an enormous gravity wave surged throughout the area before a pillar of light descended on the place.

Yamato's wave motion gun or its dark version had just punched through space-time itself and connected the void to a world that was full of light, with the help of Ginga of course.

The stranded ship girls at first didn't know what to do until Yamato's voice sounded throughout their coms

"Everyone, we'll fly into that breach, hopefully, it leads us to a world more friendly than this one"

The fleet soon formed up and flew up the tear in space and time as they transformed to their ship forms allowing their AIs to take it from them as each of them rested from the battle.

The ships soon came to a layer filled with what seemed like clouds but they didn't put much thought about it as they rose from the cloud layer, the air there acted sort of like water and clung to their ships before flowing back to their layer giving them a cool look as they rose from the clouds only to be greeted by a massive floating structure that would make the largest city on earth look like a teenager.

Each one of them was mesmerised by the science-defying structure and for Yamato it sort of reminded her of the floating continent of Jupiter but a pulse seemed to pass through the ship as Yamato felt something resonate very badly with it.

Since the people for punishing were already killed, her core and form wanted to revert to their original forms but the current core still had energy left and violently fought back causing a huge surge of pain to pump out of her heart as her core gradually but painfully shifted back to the bright blue energy we all know and love.

However, this reaction caused the core to surge in power damaging critical systems needed to keep the ship airborne and other crucial ones making the ship veer towards the floating structure as miniature explosions occurred along the hull, the breeches spewed out pillars of smoke as the distance closed in.

Yamato didn't idly sit by as her ship rammed into the structure rather she focused all her mental power and transformed back to kansen form but there were still lingering traces of that dark energy and it didn't like the transformation one bit.

Her entire body lit up with pain before she slammed into the floating city and because of her weight, caused a tremor to pass through all floors of the city as she smashed through many walls before finally stopping at what looked to be a really large hallway filled with people.

The final thing she saw before passing out were that the people there had wings almost like an angel that were glowing white giving them a sense of beauty and authority at the same time for Yamato, she couldn't help but think how their features were strangely familiar then she passed out.

POV change Allena-- Some minutes prior

Alena was bored out of her mind, she had recently gone out to look for the Yamato but didn't find even a trace of her other than the one leading past the galactic rim but she also found out that the humans were digging in as they seemed to be preparing for a war as she found that most of their ships were heading towards earth and after a few days of data mining she found out that the sirens were making a major move to attack Earth and this was something she could not ignore as she immediately reported back to her superior about this.

But the response was not what she was expecting.

Flashback:

"So, the humans are digging in for a large-scale invasion of their home planet by the sirens is what are you telling me?"

Allena felt something off with her superior tone but didn't pay much focus to it.

"Yes, it seems that they had received a prophecy about a major invasion of earth by their dream walker who was shown to never be wrong about her prophecies before."

"So what do you want me to do with information" The tone he used seemed to convey that he doesn't give a damn what happens to the human planet.

"Shouldn't we help them as we must maintain peace in that realm," she said with a confused tone at how her superior was reacting to this.

"*sigh* Look, Allena, the higher ups do not care about humanity as the only thing that they are pressuring me to find is that ship that broke the dimensional barrier. Until we find this ship, Yamato was it, we do not care about what happens with the humans." Her superior slumped back in his chair as he began to look at a document at his desk thinking that the conversation was over.

"But, that doesn't go with what the creator told us to do. His last command was to protect the peace in all realms and he emphasized that humanity should be protected at all cost!" Alena shot back as her anger was starting to show in her voice at how incompetent the higher-ups were especially her superior.

Her superior remained silent as a dark look covered his face.

"Do you think we forgot what our creator said?" His voice was sounding borderline pissed as his eyes looked at Alena.

"I think you people are only obsessed with 1 ship that doesn't even want to disrupt the peace in that dimension!" Alena fired back her anger on full display to see.

"Obsessed you say" Her superior slowly stood up before walking up to her until they were face to face, "You don't realise the stakes at play. You don't realise how much was sacrificed to seal it away. If that girl keeps on breaking the dimensional barrier the seal will weaken considerably and a monster that can wipe out the universe will be released. She needs to be contained before the universe is razed to a fiery death."

Allena's anger cooled down as her mind grasped what she had been told.

"Your naivety will be your downfall, Allena. You're hereby suspended from leaving the city until further notice" her superior said with a tinge of disappointment as he walked towards the doorway leaving a shocked Allena behind.

"You can't ground me, it's against the rules!" Allena spoke outraged at the abuse of power.

"Oh, I can and I will. You need to learn to focus on the long term goals, not short term ones that can get you killed in the long run, Dismissed!" Her superior looked at her one last time before closing the door behind him.

"Oh, Fu*door slammed shut* you!" Allena was more than pissed at that moment as she cursed at her superior which was something she never did.

End of Flashback.

Now she was lying on her bed bored as she wasn't doing anything. Her body was used to always doing something be it flying, walking, doing some training or even doing some cleaning she was always moving. Now her room was spotlessly clean and she didn't feel like walking outside or doing anything.

Alena sighed as she struggled to sit upright until her head could see the window and look outside at the way everything in that realm was peaceful and calm.

Her eyes got lost in the sea of clouds mesmerised by their colours until she felt a sense of fore boarding, she could feel that there was something off and she was right on the jackpot as a few moments later a massive tremor swept through the city, almost like an earthquake, as right in front of her eyes she saw a giant beam of black mixed with gold erupt out of the clouds as a roar accompanied it as it streaked up into the sky before it ended.

Alena was shocked to the point she almost missed the alarms going off out of her hallway. Her training kicked in as her body was suddenly filled with energy making her put on her armour in 3 seconds flat but before she could race out her doorway her eyes caught sight of something emerging from the clouds.

Her sharp eyesight helped her see 4 ships break out from the clouds but all of them were damaged as each ship billowed out smoke of varying degrees however it was the last ship in the group that got her eye as she instantly recognised it.

Instead of her looking for a target it seemed like her target found her.

But moments later she could see brief flashes on the hull of the Yamato before it suddenly veered of course straight towards the city.

She didn't need to see what happened as she had a pretty good guess it would crash before she sprinted out of the room and headed towards that section of the city.

It was a good thing that the city had tunnels meant for flying to get around the city faster as if she were to sprint it would take hours. Her 4 wings quickly spread out as she jumped into the massive tunnel before flapping them sending her flying through the tunnel at close to the speed of a civilian airliner which was still fast but she could go even faster.

A golden glow covered her wings as energy built up in them before being released in sync with her flapping, this sent her speed above Mach 2 making her supersonic which was heavily forbidden from using in the tunnels but she didn't care.

Every flap of her wings kept her speed constant while also keeping up the wave of destruction behind her constant. Yes, constant destruction.

Whenever an angel uses their magic to thrust them past the speed of sound they make a barrier in front of them making it hard for air to rush past them thus creating something close to a vacuum and for something the size of that tunnel that could fit more than 5 angels flapping their wings across the pressure difference would make air fill the gap like a tornado.

In a minute she finally reached her station and quickly cancelled her magic before coming to a skid on the marble floor and then proceeding to sprint and this was a good thing as a tornado like wind blew past the tunnel and into the terminal easily causing havoc.

Earlier on she had felt the quake from the impact and she knew her guess was right. A few minutes passed and she finally came to the scene of the crime or at least a giant hole in the wall. She quickly took the path that was on a decline using her wings to give her a short burst of speed as she flew through many holes in walls until she reached the end.

She emerged into a spacious hall where on one end was Yamato and another fox who had golden eyes while on the other end were 2 smaller foxes who were using non lethal measures to scare away the incoming troops.

She hesitated for a moment wondering what to do until she steeled her nerves and moved towards the passed out Yamato. The other fox didn't take her approach too lightly as her rigging formed around her though it was extensively damaged with numerous holes and a missing main gun she also brought out her katana which was heavily cracked and chipped all signs that they had fought a tough battle.

Allena quickly raised her hands as she tried to be friendly with her, "Hey, I'm not with those people over there. I want to help Yamato heal her wounds. We know each other from before."

Now at this point, Ginga kept pointing her sword at her but her mind was slowly recalling a conversation she had with Yamato back on Gamilas.

"Yamato, you talked of a heaven faction but have you met any of them?" Ginga asked as she looked over some books about the universe she was in, it was still hard for her to accept that she was sent to a different universe and any try to make Yamato open up on what happened to their universe was swiftly shot down.

"There was only 1 person I met and it was a female soldier by the looks of her armour and sword, she had 4 wings golden eyes and hair but other than that we only interacted once when I saw her but she was shocked because I shouldn't have been able to see her then she disappeared and I haven't seen her since."

Ginga looked at the person in front of her and saw the similarities of what Yamato had said and weighing her words it was better for Yamato to heal up as without her the fleet just won't be the same.

"Fine, but if I dare sense any ill intent I will kill you" Ginga said threatening her as she lowered her sword but still kept her rigging and sword out just in case.

Allena breathed a sigh of relief as she quickly knelt beside Yamato and put a hand on Yamato's shoulder. From there she channelled her energy through her hand and into Yamato. At first, the energy didn't do anything until it reacted with Yamato's energy before something weird happened.

A white glow encased Yamato's body it seemed that half her injuries were healing as well making Yamato wake up as her fingers were twitching before a groan escaped her lips.

POV Yamato

[Notice: Skill, Angels Touch has been activated. All critical systems have been repaired. Half of the damage sustained has been healed for 5 tons of materials.]

This was the first thing Yamato heard, A loud Robotic system that didn't know to lower its voice. She groaned again as her eyes slowly opened as she got used to the bright light before noticing the sharp stares of two people both of whom had golden eyes and one of which had 4 wings on her back.

Her mind felt like she was moving through a swamp but she powered through it.

"Ginga and ... You, what's going on?" Yamato asked in a confused voice as she knew that she was fighting someone recently but couldn't remember.

Before any of the 2 could answer a bright explosion sounded from the other hallway as it seemed that the guards had turned to using heavy firepower to get through the cruisers who were trying to use non lethal force but it was proving difficult.

"We need to leave now" Even in a groggy state Yamato was able to understand the situation she was in and gave an order which was relayed to the others.

Yamato stood up only to stumble but she was got by Allena who helped Yamato stand up.

"I'm going with you guys, if it's okay with you" Both battleships didn't get time to think it over as more loud explosions erupted from the other side as both cruisers were slowly being pushed back in the face of a desperate defender who used some weird weaponry to fight back.

Yamato merely nodded her head as she stood upright before her rigging powered up and her sub engines powered on sending her at a steady pace through the path that was ploughed by her herself.

Allena followed her as the other 3 quickly got up and emerged outside the city at this point they had all activated their main engines and left at flank speed aiming to leave whatever chasing force in the dust.

As they did that they transformed into their ship forms and Allena had to expend a lot of energy on her part just to catch up with the Yamato and enter it through the hangar bay on its belly.

She lay there for a minute or two to catch her breath before making her way to the bridge which thanks to her previous scouting made it like a second nature and arrived at the bridge in no time.

After a quick elevator ride, she walked onto the bridge to find Yamato hunched over the radar screen as she tried to make sense of where they were and lucky for her a person who could answer walked right in.

"Thanks for healing me back then, Ginga told me and I'd like to express my gratitude, though I didn't catch your name."

"Oh, it's no problem I was just mimicking something that was done before and my name is Allena"

"Okay, Allena I'd like to ask, where are we? Cause I need to make it to Earth fast as it's an emergency."

"Oh, you're in a higher dimension of sorts but I'm not sure how you can make it to Earth without proper coordinates or a gate even to travel between them as just brute forcing your way to it by punching a hole in space time will cause something to collapse."

Yamato felt a pang of guilt pass through her at the mention of punching a hole through space time but she didn't give it too much thought as she remembered a similar problem to this in the year 2202 where she, Kodai and Yuki were trapped in a higher dimension but it didn't take too much energy to make it back to earth and it should be the same there.

Immediately she gave the order to warp to the Azur Lane System as it was the closest planet to Earth that they had the coordinates for.

Moments later a bright blue flame was expelled from their nozzles as each ship neared their warp speed before an order was sent through the comms.

"Warp!"

All 4 ships punched through a golden rift in space and time that looked like a brief golden light before it disappeared an instant later. All 4 ships moved through their respective rifts and before long they reached the end of the rift as a golden light enveloped them before the ships pierced out of the rift and their first sight was a giant planet below them that was the Azur Lane System.

They were finally back after so long and a tough battle later they finally made it home.

Yamato sighed in relief before the grogginess in her mind increased tenfold, everything felt disconnected as her eyelids felt heavy and her heart/ core shut down due to an overload from the amount of stress Yamato was pushed through.

The Yamato itself lost power to all major systems as its engines powered down and all backup power was routed to critical systems that kept the ship stable as it punched into the atmosphere of the planet.

"Hey, Yamato stay with me!" Allena said as she tried to wake up the unconscious Yammy only to receive no response until a tremor passed through the ship as a layer of plasma formed on its belly. The hull continued its tremor until a sound of metal groaning could be heard as the wings unfolded, the backup systems doing the most they could to keep the Yamato stable.

Their altitude dropped like a stone with glide wings until the surface of the water of visible and what looked to be a beach up ahead. The hull of the Yamato seemed to glide above the water for a few seconds until it hit the water forcing its bow to smash against the water because of drag but not even the water could stop a space battleship that dropped from low AL Orbit.

Both Yamato and Allena were flung forward as the ship came to an abrupt stop its bow dug into the sand twisting the ship so that it was turned sideways and slightly slanting to the left but inside the bridge, it seemed that Allena cushioned Yamato from any harm in response she took the brunt of the impact which was very painful for her but worth it.

Outside, helicopters were quickly making it to the scene of the crash as well as her fleet as images of a badly damaged Yamato were starting to circulate the admiral was soon going to be both happy and stressed at the finding as well as Shinano who will meet her new sister.

But That will be next time.

I didn't leave you guys on a cliff hangar like last time thankfully.

Hope the writing was okay as I did try to make an effort to correct the mistakes but some things could have missed my eye.

There are 2 more chapters left for this and they are all action meaning I will have a fun time writing them with some good music too.

Anyway hope you like the modified writing style, I tried to be more descriptive with my words but I don't know how that will sit with you guys.

I'll add an extra story part later as I was focusing on getting this chapter done and Dusted.
