Chapter 96 Copy Speed Force
Seeing Stephen's eyes fixated on his location, observing his arms slowly stretching out, Barry Allen's punch connected with Stephen's face.
In the very next moment, he would be defeated!

The world around them seemed to slow down again, as the Speed Force surged within Barry Allen, illuminating his body with a yellow light.
"Why do I have the same color as Reverse Flash?" Stephen looked at the red electric light emanating from his own body, curling his lips slightly. He waved his hand and knocked Barry Allen out again.
Boom!
Barry Allen, who was moving at an extreme speed, crashed into the wall once more, succumbing to the rapid forces that left him unconscious.
Stephen had also copied Barry Allen's experience of using the Speed Force when he had absorbed the Speed Force from other speedsters, though he had no prior experience with it. So Stephen hadn't fully mastered the Speed Force, and thus, his speed was not yet fully controlled. It would be embarrassing if he arrived before he intended to.

Observing the unconscious Barry, Stephen transformed into a red lightning bolt and disappeared in an instant!

Stephen sat down in a chair, taking a deep breath.

In the comics, Kid Flash Wally West broke out at a speed 13 trillion times faster than the speed of light. It was incredibly difficult to achieve such a level of speed, and finding the right words to describe it seemed impossible!
Stephen didn't care about the speed itself. He believed that with enough experience and proficiency, he could continuously improve and surpass even what Kid Flash had achieved. He aspired to be the fastest in the DC universe. However, what intrigued him was the color of his Speed Force.
Under normal circumstances, when he copied Barry Allen's Speed Force, the color should be the same yellow as Barry's. However, it turned out to be red, just like the Reverse Flash.
Could it be possible that Barry Allen was pretending to be the Reverse Flash?
Stephen furrowed his brow as he recalled the events. His memory had improved significantly after gaining super speed, and many previously vague memories became clear again. He remembered from the comics that the speed force was graded based on its color, with red being the slowest, followed by yellow, blue, black or white, and finally gold.
But this explanation couldn't account for his situation.
The different colors of the speed force posed a problem. Another question was whether he would be affected by the connection between Barry Allen and the speed force. However, this issue was relatively easy to identify.
Stephen decided to observe Barry Allen using the speed force while he refrained from using it himself. By monitoring the energy changes in the speed force, he could confirm if there was a connection between them.
If the speed force he copied was separate, it would mean that there were two speed forces existing in the world, which would be incredibly intriguing.
"It's truly troublesome to copy an inexperienced ability," Stephen sighed as he got up and released the Speed Force again to become more familiar with it.

After Barry Allen left, Caitlin Snow had also planned to leave. After all, she had an appointment with Stephen to meet at her home that night. But as soon as she packed her things, she felt a gust of wind pass by her, and then she saw Barry Allen with a swollen and bloodied nose and face in the laboratory.
"Barry Allen? What... what did you do?" Caitlin Snow asked in surprise.
Cisco Ramon and Harrison Wells also looked over in astonishment.
"I... I found the murderer of my mother. I just met him. The red... it's the red lightning!" Barry Allen said excitedly. "He has super speed like me, and he... he seems to be faster than me!"
"It's impossible!" Harrison Wells rejected it eagerly as soon as Barry Allen's voice fell.
Seeing others looking at him, Harrison Wells realized he was too excited and paused to explain. "Barry, it's not so coincidental that there's someone with the same abilities as you and faster than you, at least not right now!"
"But I did." Barry Allen explained. "Shortly after I left here, an Asian guy tried to rob me. I didn't pay much attention at first, but then he showed the same speed as me. Twice as fast as me, and then I passed out."
"I saw it very clearly, it was red lightning, exactly the same as the lightning that killed my mother!"
"Asian?" Caitlin Snow thought of Stephen subconsciously, but it shouldn't be just a coincidence.
Harrison Wells pushed his glasses and said seriously to Barry Allen. "I still don't believe it's just a coincidence, but if there is such a person, Barry, I will help you find him!"
