CHAPTER 46

Suddenly a water spell was thrown at Karthikeyan's face. It was one of the enchantment embedded in the sword of a soldier fighting Karthikeyan.

Karthikeyan skilfully deflects it.

Karthikeyan soon rushes in , using the momentum tries to hit the soldier who used the water enchantment in the gut using the sword.

A big burly man blocks it easily using his spear.

Karthikeyan retreats few steps.

1 minute until his skill exhausts.

Still they had to deal with 30 or so soldiers.

Karthikeyan soon accelerated his thoughts.

 He executed [Dance of the sword] flawlessly and it glistened in the air.

Instead of focusing on power , he focused on speed.

Just a second passed and he already executed 2 movements. It was a speed incomprehensible to the 5 level 15 even though they used enchanted weapons.

After all their enchanted weapons only seem to improve their damage efficiency , not their speed.

The big burly man from before had formidable defence but in the speed aspect , he ws slow.

Karthikeyan had done the two moves on that man.

He struggled to block it exactly and before he knew it , he had cuts on all parts of his body.

A man with a dagger soon tried to hit Karthikeyan in the lower region.

Karthikeyan skilfully deflected it and kicked the man in the air.

He went and crashed with the female soldier who was using a sword.

Karthikeyan didn't wait.

It seemed like he disappeared from the spot but in reality his speed was so high , that his dash looked like teleportation.

He soon exchanged few blows with another man who also had a sword.

*Clash* *Clash*

Karthikeyan's eye was bloodshot.

50 seconds remained until the skill countdown reached zero.

Skilfully manuevering , he gave a low stoop kick.

The man staggered down.

The big burly man came in with his spear with big charge. He was heavily injured and it was even a surprise that he could afford a charge like this.

[The flora spear] he shouted in the top of his lungs.

Just like how a flower is in the shape of circle , he moves his spear in a counter clockwise direction , looking as though he was waving his torch at predators.

But in the movement consisted of 4 parts.

At each part where he is drawing the circle , he would have hit the enemy 2 times heavily, totalling 8 times of heavy and sleek hits.

Karthikeyan didn't even heed the attack , he simply crouched and cut off the legs of the big man.

Soon he turned around to face the man who was now standing and was not staggering.

The man seemed to take out a potion and retreated few steps.

In his stead the other 2 who were now healed took his place.

They soon started to attack together.

They were lovers and had perfected a movement called the [Immortal attack]

It was just a combination of attack from dagger and a sword executed skillfully and coordinated at an unreal manner.

Karthikeyan found himself blocking both the dagger and Sword.

Soon he got help.

Yerila with her halberd skilfully deflected the dagger that came and kicked the women pushing her a few steps.

She was just now fighting with about 30 people. But all of them were at best level 14 , with two of them being level 15 and they used no enchantments. She was able to tackle it and come for the rescue at the correct time.

While Karthikeyan was still fighting with these 5 level 15. It wasn't his fault entirely. As his countdown was nearing the end , his thoughts were becoming messier and his attacks less potent. Not to mention they were using enchantments which increased one's power massively. 

But even then Karthikeyan had done enormous damage to them.

The big man was effectively decapitated with no legs but still breathing life. The man with the sword was healing for a moment. The healer is also damaged lightly and the healing efficiency is reduced and the two people who are probably lovers using the sword and dagger skilfully are tired even though they are healed.

"Yerilia I don't think I can hold longer. Im at my limits" Karthikeyan shouted.

The man didn't allow for speech. He attacked at Karthikyen's vital points with extreme accuracy as his art was majorly focused on that.

This was the first time Karthikeyan was fighting with people using enchantments directly. They were mostly taken care by his party's combined efforts.

Even though they are almost 5 levels down , they are giving a tough fight just because of enchantments.

This was in fact Karthikeyan's toughest fight till date.

Yerilia swung her halberd in an arc repelling the man's sword. 

She then aimed for his instep.

The man couldn't react properly as his speed was low.

*Pierce*

The man shouted in horror. The halberd pierced deeply. He was not allowed for any more less pain.

Soon the halberd was taken forcefully and Yerilia pushed the man away by hitting him in his solar plexus by her elbow.

Yerilia soon in a downward arc , decapitated the man's left hand.

The women with the dagger who was fighting Karthikeyan saw this and widened her eyes in horror.

Enraged she left the other companion with the sword who was now healed and fighting with Karthikeyan together with her to attack Yerilia.

But an arrow soon pierced her in her eyes by chance and she fell down staggering.

The archer who fired the arrow was startled for a second. He didn't mean to hit the young lady with his arrow.

But for Karthikeyan and Yerilia this was a chance. Soon they took cue.

Karthikeyan dealt one last blow to the man with all his power , pushed him away and made his way for escape.

10 second until skill ends.

Robespierre wasn't happy though.

He decided to give chase but then

*Boom*

Yerilia used a frag grenade infused with mana that exploded everything within 10 metre radius.

All the 5 except the healer were nowhere to be found , caught in the explosion , they instantly perished.
