But this was not the time to check it.
He first healed himself and took out the knife from his chest.
It induced some pain but he managed to overpower it and stay calm.
Keeping a calm demeanour, he again approached the place where the dwarf was.
Once he was inside , he saw that everything was silent.
As much as he knew all his party members were at least a km away.
Thats how big the village was.
He had ventured this far , completely understanding the risk of separating from his teammates as he wanted to raise a slave.
He saw that the daughter dwarf was lying on the ground unconscious but alive.
He took his sword high in the air. Just as he was going to decapitate her quickly so she wouldn't feel any pain , a voice startled him.
"Karthikeyan!! " a female resounded
Of course it was Sophia who after noticing the absence of Karthikeyan decided to find him.
It was almost time for them to retreat anyway as it had been 1 hour and they had almost plundered 80 percent of the village and defeated 2 of the heads who were about level 15 with the help of Levis and other powerful teammates.
Karthikeyan of course helped in defeating a lot of demons in this pursuit.
The one sad thing was that only the one who killed the demon got experience points.
Even if one was associated to the other via a party system , they wouldn't get any exp.
It was the harsh truth.
As for how Sophia tracked Karthikeyan it was due to the fact that one could sense the aura of a fellow party member and pretty much get a gist of where they were are at that moment.
It was a strange function of the system that served as a gps for party members.
"Karthikeyan , why are you here ? we were searching for you for nearly 5 minutes." Sophia said in a hurried tone while looking at the daughter dwarf and the dead corpse of an adult demon dwarf lying on the floor.
"Um... I just heard noises along this direction and I thought there might be demons and ..."
Without him telling anything , Sophia understood it clearly.
"Well then just hurry up and finish it " she then quickly hurried Karthikeyan to finish the job.
But Karthikeyan was just stuck in his spot and couldn't move.
Seeing his predicament , Sophia moved in and in a swift of a second , just killed the daughter dwarf in a single sword strike.
Its head was decapitated and it was lying on the floor lifeless.
"If you are just stuck in a dilemma like this , then you would probably get yourself killed. Even though she is a child , understand what her people did to our people. They killed our children too. Sympathy is for naught , understand that."
Telling that , leaving no room for discussion , Sophia just left the room.
Shaking his head and knocking some sense into him , he soon followed her but not before doing something important.

"Hold on comrades!!!" Levis shouted on top of his voice.
It was almost time to retreat and they were holding on to the powerful demon force with all their powers.
Levis was now around level 15 and was fighting against level 15 individuals himself just now with some teammates 's help.
Even then he couldn't defeat them as easily , as demons although could be the same level were still a notch powerful , because of their war mongering nature.
"Levis , we are ready to go" Sophia after returning with Karthikeyan shouted out to Levis.
Turning back and seeing Karthikeyan and Sophia with a blacked eye , he nodded his head , and told his comrades to finally retreat tactfully.
But just as they were about to reach the entrance of the village from where they entered and in fact was no longer there , there suddenly was a sound that rippled through the air.
A fireball was shot in their direction about the size of a boulder.
Although fire balls were a level 4 skill , when infused with enough mana , although not that powerful could still be very large , even as large as a boulder.
"Dodge !!" Levis understanding the dread of the situation commanded the about 30 humans present to dodge.
More than 30 humans had died in raiding the village even though they had a massive advantage at the start.
Even now after Levis had shouted on top of his lungs , only the more powerful were able to dodge the fireball.
More than 5 humans were incinerated alive in the fireball , leaving no trace.
The land under them was scorched out and looked barren.

One was a lizard man whose name was mentioned to be Jacob. He was about level 18 , while the bulky man was who walking in front of him was named Oluz and was level 20 with a blessing.
Even though he knew about blessing , as the current hierarchy was unknown , he just let it slide for now. As this was a low tier dungeon , there was no chance of a high blessing individual to come.
Seeing the 2 men in front of him , he came to understand the real deal of dungeons.

With no other options but to fight , soon Levis tried to make everyone stand in formation.

People become maniacs and bullies when they are harassing and killing people weaker than them and take pleasure.
