"I..." she shuttered . She couldn't trust this man in front of her fully. She didn't know her intentions. He might take advantage of her and do something horrible to her.

But Karthikeyan just stood there anticipating for an answer. Those purple eyes of his were so mesmerising that she was feeling as though it was engulfing her senses into an endless stream of ocean.

She came back to her senses and Finally shook her thoughts away and accepted his offer . She had nothing to lose anyways and she gave a chance to trust this man in front of her.

"Alright then, Just stay behind me while I go on slaying demons , you got me?"

"What , didn't you just say we were resting until its over?"

"Well... that was to convince you . I didn't really mean it."

"You tricked me? wait do you some talent where you make people slaves ?"

"uh? what? no I don't have a talent like that" he lied but in the first place he wasn't interested in turning her into her slaves , what he was interested in was her talent.

Karthikeyan just looked at her

"If I die , you will burn in eternal hell."

"Well I will if I myself die , so no need for you to curse me. " He thought to himself.

"Good than shall we begin?"

"Hmph" she just snorted.

They began their walk. On their way they restocked on some supply , looted some demons who were left un looted and Karthikeyan , being Karthikeyan breezed his way through killing level 1, 2 and 3 demons on the way eventually crossing the Level 6 mark after 1 hour.

 Yerilia also levelled up from level 1 to level 3 .

It was now 12 pm IST. People began to take control slowly and the talented individuals were levelling up crazily . The top level in their city was someone named Jerry who was allegedly level 10 and was supposedly gifted with a top talent.

It seemed that he was live streaming himself going on a killing spree. He was a person who was active in the gaming space and was a professional player in many games. After gaining what he called a "top" talent he began doing live streams discussing about it to people.

The people at first didn't believe him but now it was evident that he was not lying.

The government of the state was putting all its efforts into hiring him including dozens of talented people like him across the state.

The government got information either by the live streams the talented people were doing to show off their talents or through reports of sights of talented people on the streets.

The military in the state 's centre Dehradun were already fighting alongside some of the talented people who decided to fight along the government.

As Yerilia was walking a few inches behind Karthikeyan she just couldn't help but think about how effortlessly Karthikeyan was slaying off these demons like if they were playthings.

Her initial doubts about his strength were all cleared now and she was questioning why this man was not labelled demon as it was what he was right now.

Karthikeyan sensed her thinking something that was probably about him.

"What? bad mouthing me? he asked while smiling.

"This bastard! how did he knew ? does he have some skill to know what I'm thinking ? Wait that's invading privacy!!!"

She didn't know what to tell and just did a hump. "Well he was right, so what about it? he tricked me into joining his party , of course I would bad mouth him" she thought to justify herself but now the pros outweighed the cons .

Karthikeyan just burst into laughter and pushed away a tear that came from laughing

"Hey! what's funny huh?"

"Haha... nothing . Oh well here have this thing , you ought to be feeling thirsty right"

Karthikeyan took out an orange juice from his inventory and offered it to Yerilia. He had found it in the super market.

Orange juice. Her favourite drink , just how did this bastard , she was now pretty sure this man knew everything about her.

"How do you know I liked orange juice?" Yerilia asked directly . She was suspicious.

"Wait what? You like orange juice ? I didn't know about that , I just chanced upon this and thought about giving it you " "Well if you don't want it don't stress yourself I can drink it"

"no, no, no wait " She no matter what couldn't give up an orange juice that came up to her free.

"Give it to me , I will have it"

"I thought you didn't want it" karthikeyan teased her while moving the bottle here and there.

Yerilia just snatched the bottle and began drinking it. Karthikeyan again burst out into laughter and couldn't hold himself.

This continued for sometime . Karthikeyan and Yerilia roamed around in the vicinity of 7 km from his house and by using his enhanced senses he often made sure that no demon was near his house . He also called them time by time to check if they were ok.

Even if he received positive responses If he went too far he might not be able to sense if something was wrong near his house from a long distance. That was why he roamed around in a vicinity of 7 km and continued his progress.

He also used his now turned slave Alpha fly to surveillance the area near his house.

Of course no one could see it as it was now in its shadow form where no one but only supposedly Karthikeyan could see it unless of course someone was powerful enough to see it.

Night eventually came , Karthikeyan and Yerilia made a camp on a high-rise building and dosed off. Today was an exhausting day for them and they needed some good rest...
