BeixuanLovell
Honestly , the genius tag is wasted , if even with the increased intelligence he didn't even think that going without thinking in a supernatural fight would land him in trouble then he ain't a genies ...
I understand the proactive instead of reactive but again , thinking about the scenario in which he was still doesn't explain why he didn't went in invisible and watch the monster/stray devil/demon for a while to learn its pattern (what does it do and such) as well about people hunting them
BeixuanLovell:Until then, he was unaware of the role of exorcists in protecting humans. What would a genius do? Would he allow the possibility of the monster endangering his loved ones and the innocent?
Welp, this chapters just a long drawn-out execution of your story. Random stupid deus ex machinas to try to make the mc look strong while also doing the equivalent of flailing around uselessly like the child catching the sword flying toward them with their hands and random church stuff that makes no sense within the timeframe and context you're forcing. Oh well, into the trash pile it goes.
probably going to give this another chapter or 2 before I drop. The MC is honestly the only thing bringing this fic down. good setup, nice use of system, good overall environment, but the MC makes repeated stupid choices, and honestly seems like more like a mob side character than an MC. There is almost nothing making me want to cheer for him or see him get better.
