Someone failed both the transfiguration and DADA classes because he had no defense not even a shield charm. I know the creature's skin was resistant to magic but so were a lot of magic creatures. He could have bound the beast with a tree trunk, or buried it neck deep in the dirt. Anything to prove that he learned something. At least we know that his goal was not to become an Auror, because that was pitiful.

I honestly like this Book and everytime it updates I get excited but my problem with this chapter was that he is more nerfed then I thought and I expected him to be more smarter while using his spells. Also another issue is that him explaining that he was injured for so long and feeling of it made me think that you were trying to get a specific word count. It’s kinda disappointing.

Author do try dwelling depper into the Harry Potter worlds's combat the MC ezra didn't use a single protego nor did he use any transfiguration or conjuctivitus spell which is 5 year spell to blind something nor did he use tarantalla spell jinx which makes the legs dance which can be used by any class as it is a prank spell sothe fight other than plot convenience wasn't really upto par

Well that was a pathetic fight. I honestly didn't expect him to use the unforgivables, but I did expect him to know more spells. Why no transfiguration or binding spells if nothing else? Why not levitate a rock and play wack a mole? Honestly he had many options.

Not much to say, the fight scene was painfully mid and the MC suffered a serious case of intellect-nerf throughout the whole thing. Fr, the mental processing of a lobotomite.
