What’s the use of the MC if he doesn’t do anything?

Hey author, here's an advice from me to you. Search about the abilities of Alex Mercer, Klyntar/symbiote and Kelvin Levin from Ben 10. Unlike what people think, Martians shape shifting is not like Mystique's who just think of what she wants to change into. Martians uses self DNA manipulation/Biological manipulation to shape shift, but they hardly truly use the ability correctly. They just use their shape shifting ability for stealth and infiltration, for supports like gaining gills in water, etc. That's why I plead that the MC be creative and not think traditionally like the rest of the Martians in Young Justice.

i never understood the deal with superboy hes only a few weaks old so he gets upset for not having all of supermans powers who absorbed sun light for years. why would the light allow lex's dna provides no benefits. besides a better brain that he rarely uses. all kriptonians are clones exept superman so whats his issue. plus superboy would have been way better if it was a superman/shazam clone

Let's see where this goes. Hopefully the mc is not some fool who allows himself to be bullied by Batman or led by Nightwing. Really want to read a Young Justice story where the mc creates his own path and either leads the team or creates his own team like the Titans as the do not exist in the young justice verse

You should look at Amalgam Universe Beast Boy, lots of stuff on Martian Manhunter there. Also think there was a Fic about the same premise as this but the Martian clone was a mix of Black canary and Manhunter. Cant remember the name off hand though.

I mean in the comics human Martian hybrids were stronger than both green and white martians

Hey will the mic unlock newer Martina abilities with time or will he remain mostly the same? Also are you going to include burning Martian abilities in his potential?

I like it so far, I am looking forward to what happens next. And guys, he is acting like Martian manhunter does in this chapter.

So is he half human like superboy or is he half of one of the other heroes? Maybe even half genomorf and if it’s this one then hed possibly be stronger than manhunter in most abilities

That's the thing, it wouldn't matter if you made him have all the powers of a Martian because as Miss Martian has shown, you can have the power but to use it you must practice it for control.

Why make the MC an incredibly nerfed version of Martian Manhunter? If he doesn’t have the same abilities, what’s the point?

You know, that's something stupid, no matter what they do, all Martians have Martian powers who don't use them, it's something else besides, Martian and Kryptonian DNA would suppress any Day of the week, a DNA from an artificially created race made the idea that genomorphic DNA would suppress Martian DNA seem stupid to me.
