Comments of chapter undefined of Instead of Arya, I prefer her mom (Eragon)

The mcs character and reactions would be understandable if he was his physical age but he isnt. This dude should mentally be a thirty or forty year old man at least and hes throwing tantrums like a child.

What brought up his irritation of Saphira? I can't understand why he hates dragons or doesn't treat them like the sentient being that they are? Also he's acting way too brody for quite a while now that it is starting to ruin the flow of the story....
