Very dumb to not pick a bloodline. Uchihas can’t be identified on sight. Neither can Senju. There are others that are that way as well. A black haired baby? There’s tons of them. Unless you KNOW a person is Uchiha or you see a Sharingan, there’s no true way to identify them as an Uchiha without genetic testing. Senju appearance varies widely. Look at Hashirama and Tobirama. They don’t even look related. Tsunade? Barely has any resemblance and is blonde. Nawaki? Again, looks vastly different. I can see not picking Uzumaki because they are so easily identifiable.

Additionally, just having orange hair doesn't automatically mean you're an uzumaki. Look at Yahiko, for example.

It feels absolutely ridiculous to not chose a bloodline cause « someone could sense it » that’s not how things work… I get you want to change the plot but this is just stupid… and not being greedy? You have to be a bit greedy to survive in naruto world. Slow and steady just doesn’t cut it
