I find it weird that people are arguing over a name. Like seriously? If you don't like the name then change the name in your mind it is not that hard. Like the MC name is important on a DxD fic. It is the girls who are important here ffs. Who cares about the male mc we here for the females not the males.
James is a name of two of the Jesus Apostles. I don't think devils would accept or even name their kid with such name. There's also irony here. James, originally Jacob, means "supplanter" aka someone or something taking the place of another, as through force, scheming, strategy, or the like. And I'm not gonna even start about this weird japonglish because it's already making me internally suffer.
Everyone seems way too fixated about MC's name. Meh. I'll go ahead and give a proper comment instead, which can also be my initial review. I quite enjoyed the Chapter. Though not a lot happened and while the story telling can be improved (Show, not tell. And some minor writing style fixes that I can't quite put into words right now) I think this has potential to be good. It's always a pleasure to see a fic that doesn't have 5 mistakes per paragraph or really awkward writing style. I barely noticed any mistakes, in fact. So, good job on that. Seeing as there are around 200 chapters, I'm gonna be binging this. I hope you don't get influenced by the mob called readers and do what you think is better. (Namely, get Rias in da harem! There's way too much unnecessary Rias hate by bütthûrt people here. Jeez.) Anyway, on to the next chapter I go.
