Another great demonstration of the difference of power between realms. Everyone expected Rui to be either seriously crippled at best to dead at worst, but he pulled through. This doesn’t demean the value of the realms, but serves to elevate not only it but also Rui’s position in the world. Rui is most likely one of the only, if not the only, Martial Squires that could take a strike from a martial senior and come out relatively unscathed. Perhaps even the martial transcendent when they were in the same realm couldn’t do the same or were barely able to. These set of chapters were amazing, although I am concerned about the repercussions of his mask breaking.
I know I posted a few already.. but one more. I do feel it’s kind of stupid that this was allowed to happen. I mean it’s a great read, so I’m not mad. But with the gulf in power and senses between a senior and a master, they should of been able to react. Even more so since aurhor just revealed they can hear the heart omen. Doesn’t make sense they were ready to react. That is unless she saw her martial path cracking and immediately broke through without a heart omen? Still feels kind of sus though.
Man, why does webnovel (I assume it’s webnovel and not author since every novel seems this way) set the second tier of privlage so dang expensive? Like it’s almost +15 USD on top of just buying the chapters. That’s a huge jump from 1 extra coin for tier 1. I seriously dont get it, I might unlock a tier 2 privlage if it was 100 or 200 coins, or a tier 3 for 300 or 400. Something gradual to suck you in. You buy one tier…. then you think we’ll im already 200 in… why not 200 more? But as is I will never buy a higher tier. No way I’m thinking we’ll I’m already 1 in… might as well throw another 800 in there 😂 seems like both a loss of money making oportunity for webnovel + a worse reader experience. Don’t get it.
