“Kindred souls” likely means other reincarnatiors. I’m guessing all these “saints” like the divine doctor, seeker, and beggar sage are reincarnators like Rui.

Ooooh, another power level revealed? Now the only wonder is if this realm is equal to or above that of Martial Transcendents. It could also be below (sage equivalent). We still don’t know what exactly makes a sage a sage and a transcendent a transcendent. It’s possible these things can be obtained through non-martial pursuits. Just incredibly rare? Or maybe it’s beyond even the transcendent realm…

Two curiosities. One, will Rui use similar methods to water down his angel of laplace down to quasi master realm? Send will Rui master the eye of prophecy? It seems highly compatible with his void algorithm.

Really.. why is the second tier of advanced chapters so expensive? Such a gap between 1 coin and 900 coins. Really makes no sense how this is even a good business model.... Yo, Rui hasn’t even met a sage yet. And while the sages are mostly immune to the emperors commands, it does seem he weirlds more individual power than a single sage does. Can you just meet the president of a country? No? Okay what if you are a renowned inventor and billionaire? Even then maybe no.

Sadly his symbiote has been less than spectacular. It has a pretty minor effect and especially became less effective since he became a squire (I don’t get why, it said symbiotes adapt your DNA perfectly and so should of evolved identically with his brain). I do wish author had chosen to focus more on his second brain (just saying it’s still helpful is enough).

No… that would be too much. He probably won’t reach passive mastery till the end of his senior time. I’m guessing he’ll reach high grade 14 with these techniques (3 basic ones). Once he can employ reverse prophet in tandem with void algorithm he’ll reach grade 15. Before then he may also train one more set of techniques. Who knows. Finally he’ll focus fully on building his martial mind, which will of course increase his ability to employ complex techniques simultaneously. I’m guessing towards the end of this he’ll be able to employ the three basic ones passively. Probably passive reverse prophet will only be possible when he has an active true martial mind. These are my guesses at least.

They said they can’t send a master besides an assasination one. Normal masters will be detected by other masters. And assasination masters are too hard to employ (hard to find or tied to other organizations). They said they’d still try. But obviously for plot reasons they won’t succeed before Rui smacks down at least some grade 14 and maybe even a grade 15 senior.

Thanks for the chapter! I expect domain techniques may be a significant area Rui can defy expectations in due to his knowledge of physics suiting domain techniques the best. I actually have a hunch that Rui’s domain techniques will transcend the limits of the senior realm (not in power but in finesse) by manipulation aspects beyond heaven and earth (areas only upper realms can manipulate). His Raimanian echo is already an example of him trespassing on the powers of the upper realms.

Maybe. But as he saw with pathfinder technique, a martial master having the maths and actually being able to use it are two very different things..

Rui died in 2022 before jame web launched. Though I mean its design is much older so it still could… but it’s more likely he’ll be Hubble. Actually an optical telescope would fit his technique better… but the good ones of those are ground based 😬

Seems odd the prince was allowed to learn about Rui’s presentation. While he is supported by the martial union, and supports it in return, he is not a core member of the union. It’s similar to telling a friend your bank account number…

I have a feeling a sect can only be made by masters. It also fits the hints we’ve been given about the sage breakthrough in some way requiring the teaching of pupils (Rui’s two martial master masters, master Arronian, even the church guy kind of took Rui under his wing).
