I feel like there is an unfathomable existence in the center of the beast domain. That the previous civilization was as developed, if not more that the current Kandrian Empire. That is convergence of beast towards the center of the beast domain is not a one time thing but something that happens in cycles. Each time the thing at the centre wakes up and consumes everything and burrows the seeds of a new beast continent again. Then millennia later the cycle repeats itself.

Its's like someone took every single biome and phenomenon in fiction, smashed it all together and then populated it with hyper aggressive creatures ramped up with the survival of the fittest instinct and let it simulate itself for millions of years.

The Silas Clan is going to join the Martial Union. I do wonder if Rui will someday also approach the Floating Sect with a similar proposal to transfer the island to Kandria and Stabilize it. It could be a great training asset for Kandria and something that the Breathing Sect will definitely support. In fact, even the nations around the island might be willing to give a pass to transport the floating island off their neighborhood.
