i don't know why u found the audition part the cringe. i skimmed through it so fast that it felt like i skipped it.

Huh, this actually felt a bit like a classic cultivation novel scene. "Sneer, this kid doesn't know the difference between heaven and earth, sneer" [faceslap] [Stunned audience] [Exaggerated overreaction of shock and awe] [Thats my boyfriend!]

Will he become a musician next? This is becoming too cringy now and almost a copy of another story where the MC becomes a director and actor. He just released one movie so people are rightfully skeptical of him taking so many things to do. He already wants to start a production company and a acting agency after just one movie and now he wants to act too. The author does know that acting in any movie can take a lot of time right?
