i thought this was supposed to be set in the dragon ball universe.. the start of a story is very important, this chapter might need some work to explain some basic things like where we are and what dbz has to do with any of this.

I understood no reference here. Is this guy in the DXD universe, is this novel an Original with some anime stuff in it? I would like the author the explain it to me, please because I am very very lost. All I got is the King piece and I know that's a DXD thing.
