I can't read this this anymore. I mean this is not America, I grew up in a different culture and my conscious wouldn't let my women claim that her child is from my little brother. If you decided to go with his plot then there is no difference between evil and good. I even feel pity for his little brother. As he lost everything. You should make a villain which people hates not a MC which is hates and stops reading this novel.
question, is it right to label it as an "evil" because it is not acceptable by today's standards? This book is set in the 1400s, and if im not mistaken, concubines were quite common. I don't think you can openly trash a book for being historically accurate. You have a right to your own opinion, but please don't trash someone else's work and ruin it for other people just because you don't agree with it. Thank you -one frosty fox
Medieval walls wont be obsolete until there are long range artillery or air strikes. Whit steel and concrete he could make far better walls. There is a reason why bunkers were so popular in WW2. Combination of walls and bunker design would be great. If gates walls are destroyed there would be corridor and a second wall. Path would go left or/and right to get to second gates. So there would be two walls perhaps connected or not but they would have openings to shoot from. Inside walls would be corridors for defenders but there would be metal doors every tens of meters in case wall is blasted open. Also those corridors and openings would not be on the ground level but would be in 1 floor , 2 floor and going up. If such walls are build it would be difficult to go through only a lot of explosives which could be intercepted or artilleries that can shot over the walls or destroy the walls or air strike could do something. But neither would be available to enemies. And defenders would always have better equipment. If opening did appear it would just gather enemies which would make them easier targets for defenders. Also it would be best to skip to modern firearms since it enemy would not be able to replicate them without technology that he would guard. Enemy would be able to get few rifles but to little to do something, and there is also problem with ammo.
