Zentmeister
I must say, I'm thoroughly enjoying this book. The plot is moving along but not to fast and not too slow. The only advice that I will give the author is...flesh out the character a little more and if you have a stockpile....drop it, alot of veteran readers have a tendency to wait until a story has atleast 100 chapters in....Mostly for 2 reasons, the author is invested in the story, so theirs no fear of them dropping it and also with more than a 100 chapters, you can somewhat tell tge direction the story will go in.
Good idea with irigation, but ceramic pipes make more sense to me, I've even seen pipes like this used in draining wetlands. Steel rusts in contact with moisture, and in times presented here it is literally burying a lot of money to waste. On the other hand, ordering such pipes would provide an occupation for the potter, or at least for his apprentice(s). Good, logical development of the economy, but the guild masters can resist changes. They will not fight or oppose the nobleman, they will only put up passive resistance, for example delay the execution of work, find problems with the supply of raw materials ...
