Finally some proper investigation and law itself, most of other novel tend to throw the rule like it a joke there and just use the mindless young master and 'ancestor' coming for the mc for killing like barbaric civilization there despite boasting about 'advanced/cultured' or similar

I am surprised that a world of this caliber doesn't have some sort of lie detection process. We have one IRL so I am sure that it wouldn't take all that much effort to listen to someone's heartbeat or smth.
