This forced plot scenes is getting worse and worse as the novel progresses... Why wouldn't she just wake Bai Zemin up and let him kill the eagle before he resumes checking why he has any abnormalities?? It's not like he is in the middle of a breakthrough or a parallelius situation he can't stop in the middle of! What I take from this chapter is a bad plot to make a scene where the hero comes to the weak damsel rescue. A shame it was so bad I had to grit my teeth to bear with this chapter...
