Agreed. There just doesn't seem to be much at stake in most of these arcs. It ends up feeling like they are summoned for little more than casual conversation and no real consequences. I mean there are so many opportunities. imagine if Lily was injured causing them to be sent back and fail a contract, and Kat and Lily both go into heavy training of her abilities and fans in order to go back to take revenge after she is healed, etc...

I would love to see the MC actually make use of the abilities the Author seems to forget about. I don't understand why Kat hasn't been able to become proficient with her fans yet for that heartfelt contract. I miss chapters like those.

I have been skipping most of the "Gareth POV" chapters and just happened to unlock this one. After the first couple paragraphs I realized it was a mistake. I'll try again later.

I have a feeling there are going to be a lot of skipped chapters coming. I miss good stuff like early on in the book. In conversations like this the author can bend the characters reactions to how they want, but sex isn't something to rush and it can take years depending on the relationship. I dislike the Evaline character tremendously.

It's subjective. I look at makeup as false advertisement just like having kids with a partner that had a ton of plastic surgery and being surprised they are ugly AF. My wife likes how she looks with eyeliner so I support her on that. If she liked a lot more makeup I would still support her but my preferences would still be the natural "beauty".

Agreed. I am pretty sure the author forgets stuff regularly as well. Why have such unique characteristics if they are never used or don't seem to have a purpose within the storyline?

Just crush her head or make her into an ice statue and move on. She can't prove it's not an act and that she is just stalling for time or anything so Kat should just get it done. It's not her job to deal with others' baggage, it's to protect the idiot and Lily.

Author, regarding your question there is already too much filler and idle/unimportant chatter. Adding side characters that have no meaning is just work you do that readers (like me, at least) will end up just skimming/skipping and come back to if I feel like I missed something later. I will point back to the Apep arc. I ended up skipping almost that entire arc because it felt like a filler episode of anime with what, 4 or 5 chapters before they got out of the kitchen? I could get the idea of the chapter just reading the first bits of each paragraph and don't feel I lost anything. I don't want to take away from the work and effort it takes for you as the author to write creatively and I appreciate the story overall. I know I could not create anywhere near the same level of work. However, if I don't think something is pertinent to the story or characters it just gets skimmed/skipped and that would be that much of your effort that just goes unread/lost.

yeah.... not buying it. she had intensive training by the slime queen and conserving energy is something that would be considered common sense. A few days just learning boxing will teach you that much. Kat is the equivalent of a newbie flailing their arms at full power in the ring. it's ridiculous considering how many fights she has been in.
