Elyon
Oliver showing up without doing anything yet again, lol. It’s like the author just puts this bit in here about her sending Oliver to make her more likable. Well, even if you ignored the fact she enslaved the MC (which I can’t), she still joined and stays in a terrorist organization that would happily kill Will and everyone he loves or cares about. I just can’t seem to like her character at all.it feels like the others genuinely care about Will while she treats him as a toy, tool, and entertainment. So while the other women act to protect Will because they care about and love him while Celine seems to do it because she doesn’t want to see her toy broken by someone else. I am glad to see the “gender reveal” finally happen though. Now I just hope the MC isnt nerfed and out of commission for a long time yet again. I also hope that he gets some major strength gains either from the new ”heart” or soon jn the future. He has spent a lot of time on those around him, now maybe he can spend time strengthening himself. I would much prefer an MC that leans toward or exceeds OP as opposed to an MC that leans toward mediocre/weak. Thanks for the chapter.
this entire arc was wholly unsatisfying, Will was an idiot after learning the identity of carter and did barely anything at all to stop him outside of telling the headmaster quite a while after finding out and then their fight turned into william being nerfed yet again before the fight even starts only for a god to ex machina his win. honestly the god getting involved and basically stopping the fight to say "you'll die anyway, heres a powerup" and just wins for him. if you don't want the MC to struggle then dont nerf him in the first place and just have the worm underestimate his trump cards(and dont have a literal god show up to say here's the win). I like the Ian reveal, but after that terrible "main character moment" it just felt weak I truly hope this is just a time skip and not yet another nerf after he wakes up because that is getting so exhausting
