FormerDelinquent
But, following the logic, shouldn't he be like Bella's daughter who can eat raw meat and ordinary food too? Also, I didn't really got the idea of him having 2 different genes, it's not helping that we don't know much about the Shapeshifters and Children of the Moon is a completely new concept too. I hope it will be introduced to us later into the story, like - is he immortal? has he got an ability after transforming and whether Children of the Moon have the abilities at all.
Poor William, now heās going to be constantly aware of how delicious all of his friends and family are. Was that weird smell he was picking up on the Cullens? Is he going to be hungry for vamps too? That would be an interesting twist. From what I can find on the various Wikis it would appear that our poor William is now immortal, though he might still possess the ability to have children unlike vampires. His half-shapeshifter heritage complicates things, because while it means heāll like have far greater control over his various forms (Not to mention a full tiger form) and the ability to change whenever he likes instead of just at night... it also likely means that he has the weaknesses of the Children of the Moon as well. For one, heāll be a massive danger during full moons, but the biggest issue is that heāll need to eat a TON of flesh. Shapeshifters need more food than humans and heās a shapeshifter and a werebeast, so his appetite is going to be truly monstrous. Thereās also the smaller issues like his voice becoming rugged, his eyes permanently changing color to reflect his new species, and his venomous saliva smelling horrid to just about everyone else (including humans). Thatās rough buddy. On the bright side, at least heāll likely have an easier time hiding his true nature from the Volturi with his giant tiger form. He might be able to masquerade as just a simple, if massive, Tiger Shapeshifter.
