Wow, what a ride. This is definitely one of the best web novels I have read. There were a few parts that seemed to drag, but for the vast majority was entertaining. Though, the later chapters seemed to lose the magic of the earlier chapters, when the mc was scarred and running around. Later, it felt like he went from super cautious to the all-knowing puppet master. Mainly because the author seemed to distance us from the mc. We were no longer watching him plan and work, but more watching his plans unfold as he explained. There are definitely more scenes I would have liked to see before the end, but it was wrapped up way better than 98% [img=recommend]) of the other web novels I have read. It was sad to see some characters just thrown aside and barely talked about later, such as his aunt master, his grandmaster, the poison expert from from the du sect etc. His master kind of got screwed and I would have liked to see some sort of happy ending for him, but maybe there was in the original story of the heavenly courts. I know very little about the original story of the heavenly courts, which probably made this story more confusing then it could have been, trying to keep track of all characters, etc. As always, thanks for the translation. I hope they will translate the last side chapter and put post it.
